We often view repentance as a slow process, it isn't. Change is instantaneous, it is not changing that takes so much time. What a wonderful principal, thanks for sharing.
Yeppers, All afternoon on Sundays are dedicated to whatever you are teaching. Thank-you for caring about our souls. For those not raised in the church and come along a bit later, your lectures are a real catch-me-up, and are also very uplifting. Thank-you for all the spiritual preparation that goes into your lessons. We are sad for the pandemic but are learning so much. We don't know you but feel already to love you, because you love Jesus.
I think your "missionary scripture" is still applicable today: you're teaching many of us the glad tidings of Christ so simply and clearly to prepare our minds, and so we can teach our children and prepare their minds, for His Second Coming.
I can't thank you enough for this. I find it hard to concentrate when I'm listening to talks and scriptures, so this helping me get better at it little by little is such a great blessing. May the Lord bless you as you continue this righteous work.
This is the best lesson on how we as parents should counsel our children. I tagged this video under how to teach our children. My mantra is “learn wisdom.” I just did. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
This chapter is so good, Alma is very good parenting, I wish I learned this when I was younger, but no regret, I still have my grandchildren to teach them. Thank you very much😍🎉
Thank you for another inspiring lesson. For a brief season I journeyed into a faith community in which its members physically crossed themselves in all things. I found that simple act somehow comforting and strengthening. I have been "there and back again" and am truly grateful to be home. Yet there are times when I still feel my hand almost raise itself to make the sign of the cross, so strong was its appeal to me. Nevertheless, I strive to remember how to cross myself inwardly and gain comfort and strength from that.
What a beautiful comment. I love the symbol of the cross (it always reminds me of the need for both vertical and horizontal aspects of our discipleship--like the 2 great commandments), and though we don't use it in our iconography, any reminder of the Savior's love and sacrifice is a welcome gift. Thank you for sharing.
You make the Book of Mormon come alive thank you so much As for your comments on murder I think what makes that so bad, is that you have taken someone's agency away, even GOD can't do that ! Is this right ?
I am so impressed with what I listened to today! I’m now subscribed and excited to go back and review everything that you have taught! I’m not sure how I found this this AM...but I’m sure I have a pretty good idea🙏🏻 I can’t wait to share it! Thank you Brother! 👍😊
However late you think you are, however many chances you think you have missed, however many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you think you don’t have, or however far from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify that you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s Atonement shines. Jeffrey R. Holland
Obvious? You need to listen again. Sexual sin is Serious, yes, we need to be aware that it is not easily forgiven, but there are so many more verses about the Atonement. We are only unpardoned when we decide we aren't. Never kill Hope--that is the worse sin.
Because of Jesus, there is always hope. If this video is so strong on the justice side, keep watching and you'll see Alma begin to shift toward the mercy side by the end. The way he ends in Alma 42 is so powerful--and so full of hope. The last 10 minutes of the part 3 video would be worth your while!

You're welcome! I'm grateful Clayton Christensen was open to learn from a young college student!

Great thought! I love that you connected this to agency. So true. Thank you for sharing!

Do you have a podcast? Then I can listen to you and use my scriptures in my phone at the same time. With a podcast I can’t do that.
I'm so grateful to have found your channel.. however if breaking curfew is the worst thing you did I'm going to hell for sure..
OBVIOUS there is no hope if i sin sexually

There is hope in Christ's atonement. Do what is necessary to repent. You will feel joy.
