I love that you pointed out how MONSTA X choreographies remind you of Taemin. While they do no share any mutual choreographers, their dances do require strong technique and stamina, unique movements, and minute details that do put them on a very advanced level for performers in my opinion. Fun fact: MONSTA X's leader, Shownu, was on a dance competition show called Hit the Stage along with Taemin and the two have been on one or two variety shows together as well. I don't know if they are connected as friends, but they do have a respect for each other as performers with Taemin being the "sunbae" or most senior performer as he was the first to debut.
The leader's name is Shownu. ^^ He is also the main dancer. One thing i like about Shownu, is his presence when he takes center position in their choreo. Whenever he takes center they actually look like one unit and that even though they all have their own individual styles, whenever he takes center position, he doesn't take all your attention but insteads he kinda pulls everyone with him and the members magically becomes his limbs or something and then they become one unit more than ever which makes everything more intense and powerful. The one in the blazer and cap is Hyungwon. He's the lead dancer,dj,main visual and many more. They're all all rounders imo. Their title tracks are just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till you hear their b-sides.

According to me, jealousy and alligator choreography are the beautiful and heavenly choreo ever. And I love it like crazy for all it moves and smoothness it has like diamond.

Like you said, they are really involved in a lot of processes.
