have the same on my 2018 5.7, the sound is not bad but was amazed at the immediate MPG increase, .5-1 gal improvement with one stretch of open highway I got 18.4 MPG where 16.5 or so would of been expected
I just installed a rough country cold air intake yesterday. It definitely sounds different and I think I have a little more response but this truck came with a huge intake already( towing truck)
Nice! I’ve been liking the intake so far. I did new headlights on my truck so I don’t have to worry about bulbs anymore. Check out my other video, you may like it for yours too.
@@AJLoDato22 absolutely it’s perfect for daily driving and sounds mean. Only thing I would say is if you haul trailers long distance a lot it’s a little loud after a few hours going up big hills/mountains.

I have seen the same! Mine is a minimum .5 MPG increase and I love it.
So by replacing that you’re getting close to 2 miles per gallon I find that very hard to believe
@@Lance-b2l on that particular stretch I did, so far increase has been 1/2-1 gal overall, just what I said in the above statement.
@@Lance-b2l mine is at .5mpg better. I drive the same 100 miles per day and the increase is proven on my commute.
Definitely sounds better 👌🏾

I do wish the lights were easier to change. It sucks. You have to take the entire grill off just to replace the bulbs.

Should i have the concern with it not being enclosed? I work and drive on a lot of dirt and dusty roads.
The shroud being up against the hood definitely helps. But if your engine bay does get dirty, there are fully enclosed options out there.
any problem so far gonna switch from spectre cold air intake to rough or kn
Nope no problems whatsoever with mine
Also, what size tires are you running? Are those 275/65/20?
285/65/20 - made a video on these too. Totally changed the look of the truck.
What radio is that and do you experience any sort of delay or lag with it ?
It’s a dasaita head unit. I recommend watching my install and review video. It’s pretty rad if you ask me.
@@AJLoDato22will it fit in an 07?
@@louisholmes4158 The touch screen or intake?
@@AJLoDato22 the touch screen but I checked the link on your other video and it doesn’t seem to. I believe the intake does.
@@louisholmes4158 search your year and dasaita on Amazon. They make a screen for an 07, but it’s different than the one I installed.
did it improve mpg?
As a matter of fact it did. From a month before and after install we are up about .5-.7MPG
Dam that’s good, I’m gonna have to look in to it. I’m in cali so idk if it makes sense putting one on my truck.
Need trd dual exhaust
I’ll definitely consider it!
@@AJLoDato22mine came with cold air intake and the trd exhaust it sounds amazing
@@tannershemon4798 Do you think the TRD exhaust is worth it? Noticeable sound difference?
