I am very impressed with her knowledge of building but her understanding of a painting process is what leaves most builders scratching their heads! The detail of the airflow with filtration & humidity control is something most home builders fail to take into account. Especially with these blowup portable paint booths. They offer some control but not a total control system. More of a low flow system. She has it going on! Great person to interview.. Bryan!!! Kudos
I like people who are quietly knowledgeable. This is no knock on pilots who don’t tend to go too deep “under the cowling”, but I think knowing what’s under your hands and feet in a more intimate way can help you make better decisions.
Please revisit this build as Lynn progresses on it. I’m always impressed when someone has thought through the whole build and also designed their shop with the steps of building aircraft in mind. Great job Lynn!
Since you already travel to so many airstrips. You Should start a video series that is specific to airstrips/airports rather than the planes. Be a cool series to focus on different places that the viewers could check out themselves. Get an insight to places that have easy access to places nearby. Whether it be food or hotels or camping and activities nearby!!
Agreed! 100% ;-) In fact I have another Channel that I may do that with once this one is a bit more established. Thank You for your support! I truly appreciate you!
Something I’ve been wondering: if you purchase a 51% kit from someone who has already done work on it, do you not count as builder (for future maintenance purposes) since you have to complete 51% and it already had 49% and then someone else did work in it?
another great video! completely off topic, how many miles have you put on the f150 this year? You should replace it with an airplane for all your traveling.
What an EXCELLENT IDEA! (You know...I'm actually building one right now right)? ;-p Haha. I don't know but it is definitely due for an oil change this week! "Old Red" has 205k miles now and still keeps ticking on down the road. Maybe FORD will sponsor us one day in the future. But FLYING to visit people one day soon will be so much more fun on good weather days! 2021 should be the Year of Flying for me! Thank You for your support!
You are a Good Guy with an Informative Channel...but... Watch and listen to Paul Bertorelli's January 2017 AvWeb channel segment in which he cites us Experts as stating: "Good Audio Makes Good Video:" Invest in a Clip-On (or, at least, Lavaliere-style) Microphone. Sure, your budget is slim; being Professional Does cost some money.
Home made booths are dangerous, and against city, and county code. If have the room buy a commercial paint booth has proper safety systems home made booths have caused fires. You can find used paint booths for under 2k but downdraft booths are more expensive much better quality.
Oratex, the German replacement for Sits Polyfiber and the others requiring painting, is the Answer to having to paint at all. Distributed out of Alaska. They will dispatch someone to cover any plane's "bones." Bryan could do a segment on O-Tex 600 and 6000.
Nice but totally unrealistic. 99% of us builders are in a two car garage and share our space with lawnmowers and such. Why don’t you visit the normal people?
@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel LOL... who’s Ken? Thanks for the link. I used to belong to an association called the EXPERIMENTAL Aircraft Association but it became the predrilled, prepunched erector set rivet slab side kit plane association. Is Scrappy the only true experimental plane you have covered lately? Not a dig on your great channel I know it’s slim pickins to find truly experimental builders today, but you are the Experimental channel. I have been watching your channel for about a year and it’s tin can, tin can, tin can, STOL, STOL, STOL.
@@WokeByTrump (Not KEN). Sorry about that. Well... the modern day Kitplane has adopted new and MODERN manufacturing methods which make most of these easier and Faster to build. YES. I would absolutely love to cover more Scratch Builder and One Off designs as they come available or are brought to my attention. So please feel free to share. I have NOT had the opportunity to visit with Mike and do a "Scrappy" episode just yet... but we have spoken and will have it on the schedule eventually. And YES... I will keep STOL in the mix but be moving more to "variety" here in 2021. THANK YOU for your support and engagement. I truly appreciate you.

She really knows her stuff. Should be a nice build when finished. Nice video Bryan!
Thank You! Did you catch that she made the cover of Sport Aviation back in the day?? She has built several aircraft.
Lynn knows her onions !
Great story
An inspiration
Inspiring woman for sure. Love how she understands exactly what and why she wants to build and modify the build. Still chasing the dream up here in NE
Jeffrey G Jensen I wish I still lived in NE. Nasty crosswinds here in Casper, WY!
@@tomcoryell wish you would keep them there!!!! 🤣

And I was just thinking to myself how I wanted to watch some more S7 videos... Love the private strip/ workshop property too. One day...
Very Impressed with her knowledge about building Any aircraft Structure.
Best regards to Lynn👍

Great video Bryan.
Very inspiring
These personal visits are my favourite. Congrats to Lynn on her impressive skills, she is inspiring!
What a gal, hats off to her
what a gem video, thank you both
Fantastic interview, thank you Lynn for sharing.
This chick is a boss
Love her humble demeanor; (opposite of Tom Cruise in Top Gun), but she definitely knows what she is doing.
What an inspiring lady Lynn is! Super cool place she has there!
Thanks a lot. Very interesting.
She has one heck of a nice set up there. Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks Bryan this was a great video as always, keep them coming.
God 🙏 bless you and see you on the next one.
well done
Great video. If I was closer I would love to hang out and build airplanes with someone like this.
One of your best interviews!
Aerodynamically similar to a Cub. Nice little aircraft.
Super stoaked to see your vids as always

Hi can you please do a video on the murphy radical
Is there a way to learn to fly ??
How do you give two thumbs up??

Not a good idea to mix paint brands. Stewards is a latex base and PPG is mineral based.
