Thank you so much for taking the time to show the rest of us how to do that. It seems like content for older trucks is disappearing and a lot of us like to still do this kind of stuff. Again thank you.
Thank you so much for doing this video. I was getting very frustrated not able to find all the different pieces to pull off but your video helped me do everything I needed to do. I had the same problem with the door handle and I went back and watched your video and it was spot on.
Well done, and you not only did it one handed, but also in the sun. I was researching the rear door speaker instal on my 2007 extended cab, and I found your tutorial, excellent, informative and no foul language. I have an imported truck to Australia. Your a life saver. Thanks mate.
You saved me to brake my back door grill. I was having exactly the same situation, replacing the front is so easy and I thought that the small back door is going to be the same but the grill wasn’t coming off, so I turned to UA-cam to find advice and I am glad you did this video. I do have the same truck with half door on the back. Thank You…!
Great video. Very informative. I installed 4 new speakers in about 45 min. Because of the extra wire length, do to the wiring harness, I was worried about wires getting caught by the window operation. I zip tied them up to prevent them from getting caught in the window operation. Thanks again Cheryl
Thank you for this! I’m replacing my dads truck speakers and detailing it for Fathers Day and was prying at the back as well. Yours was the first video I saw with the half door and it was super helpful!
Thanks a million for the video. I used your previous video for the front speakers as well and both videos saved tons of time, money, and frustration! This procedure worked perfectly for my 2005 F-150 XLT Supercab.
Thank you. I was on the same route pulling the vanity plate off the door. I stopped. I found your video, so much thanks for your time in making this video.
Here’s a link for the wire harness. It’s the same for the front and rear. www.amazon.com/Metra-72-5600-Speaker-Harness-1998-UP/dp/B001OAB6BW/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2U5TY4Q0IFVZQ&keywords=metra+speaker+adapter+ford&qid=1680623070&sprefix=metra+speaker+%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-3
So, if I plan to not get the adapter, I could essentially cut the plug off and strip the wires and then solder them on right? Just want to make sure that there are only two wires on the backside of the plug. Thanks for the awesome video.
Glad I watched this. Watched the first. My dumb ass would have broken the door screens on the back half-doors. Are you running these from the stock stereo ??
Always do the videos on hot days? Hint: don’t wear a BLACK shirt ! Written before you said that you shouldn’t have worn a black T . . . Nice video !!! How do you like those Kickers?
Taking off these panels is the same process on replacing the door cable stops on these doors. They are plastic and dry rott causing your rear doors not to open. Just replaced both doors on my 07 .... There are videos on UA-cam to replace the cable stops.
If no one else cares, I do. Thank you so much.
No problem 👍

I came to see if I could just pop off the rear cover like I did on the fronts and well, you answered that. Thanks for saving me some broken tabs too

Thankfully I was still able to use the grill. Only broke it in one spot
To replace it you’ll probably have to order a new door panel
Thank you great help
Good video , what’s the connection or harnes info ? And is it the same for the front ?
Here’s a link for the wire harness. It’s the same for the front and rear.

Hey man what are those adapters called for the speakers appreciate it
They are made by metra I think. It’s for the 99-2008 I believe.
www.amazon.com/Speaker-Connector-Harnesses-1998-UP-Vehicles/dp/B08J4BMMXD/ref=asc_df_B08J4BMMXD/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475692023481&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9393368480264716285&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9014027&hvtargid=pla-1018143495041&psc=1

That I’m not sure you’d have to look at the connector in the truck
Glad I watched this. Watched the first. My dumb ass would have broken the door screens on the back half-doors. Are you running these from the stock stereo ??
Yes I am. Thanks for watching
Thank you helped a lot! But I would like too know if the back speakers are the same size as the front ones?
Yes they are the same. 6x8
Thanks you
You got it!
Could you post a link to the harness adapters?

What brand/type of speaker did you put in?
It was a kicker ksc680 6x8
@@ToeMosSVlogs thank you
Thanks man, prolly would have broke my covers. Kinda dumb, why make it so easy in the front lol
You got it! Glad it helped! I agree it’s definitely more complicated than it should be
Where did you get the adapter?
Try Best Buy or Amazon
www.amazon.com/Metra-72-5600-Speaker-Harness-1998-UP/dp/B001OAB6BW/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=2008+f150+speaker+adapter&qid=1657627528&replacementKeywords=speaker+adapter&sr=8-4&vehicle=2008-54-666------------&vehicleName=2008+Ford+F-150
7/32 socket works as well
Do you think that a 6x9 would fit instead of a 6x8?
Probably not
What size are the rear speakers?
I believe they are 6x8
Always do the videos on hot days? Hint: don’t wear a BLACK shirt ! Written before you said that you shouldn’t have worn a black T . . . Nice video !!! How do you like those Kickers?
Haha thanks 😂
Where can I find the speaker adaptors?
I bought the speakers from Best Buy and they had the plug adapters.
I have a question, I installed them and when I shut my rear door it sounds like the something I’d hitting the speaker any idea what it could be?
No idea. Only thing I can thing of is to take the door apart again and check it out
So they're all 6x8s?
Yes the door speakers are 6x8.
Thank you sir
You got it
I think he likes seeing himself
Who are you referring to?
“Welcome to hell” 👍🏽
Ia the size 6*8
