Hey thanks for the video! My Wife and I will be on the Islands in September and we can't wait! We'd love to see a video about some of the dangers we should be aware of as far as wildlife/sea critters and things to be careful of. Obviously sharks, but other dangers we could encounter like bugs or anything that you know about?
I did the submarine tour in Maui. Saw a shark and a sunken ship. But the highlight was, I saw stingrays. So beautiful and majestic gliding through the ocean. 🌴😎🤙
Hi! This tour sounds very interesting. Is it one that you need to book well in advance? Or is it ok to wait and see how much time we have available in our itinerary once we are in Oahu? Thanks!
Both! It really depends on the season. Summer season (June/July/August) it gets really busy overall. Feel free to reach out at the yestohawaii.com site for help with vacation planning!
One of the most dangerous thing on ship and submarine is the bulkead and hatching. My friend got slam on his back by the hatch and disabled for life with broken spinal cord
Yikes! Hmm...for this commercial submarine, the hatch actually held in place (as you can see on the thumbnail) so there wasn't really a way for it to drop.
If you get motion sickness on boats or airplanes, I strongly suggest talking to your doctor about Scopolamine patches. I've tried all the over the counter motion sickness remedies with poor to marginal results. Scopolamine patches are a miracle. I can read or watch a movie on an airplane, something I could not do before. I put the patch on behind the ear and it takes effect in about 10 to 20 minutes. When I'm done with the activity, I take the patch off and effects start to wear off within minutes.

I haven't done the submarine tour on Maui...yet. But seeing a shark from a submarine would be pretty cool 🦈
We haven’t been on this in over 10 years, thanks for sharing 👍Waikiki ❤️
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏼
I have been on the submarine twice and would totally go again. So much fun 🤩

Question, how is the temperature once inside the submarine?
Maybe 75 degrees?
I did this back in (2010?). I remember it going down 150 ft.
Wow!!
@@YestoHawaiiMy uncle went to 13500 feet and imploded 😢

Those are actually pretty strong - it can take up to 4 hours for the effects to wear off. Yikes!
If we all live in a yellow Submarine, then I bet it's pretty crowded in there.
😆
