I don't think there is any requirements of paid counseling to anyone. It's all the strategies to earn money by making students scared. Please, be aware friends and opt for the right and logical thing.
First of all, Mata Sundri is not that bad. It's one of the best colleges for Psychology. I agree it is an isolated college, but so is Lady Irwin. Lady Irwin college is literally no where in the top colleges lists for any category. I gave my CUET last year, and scored a total of 764 on 800 and got into Mata Sundri for psychology hons in the first list. The faculty here is amazing. At the end of the day, a college is a college and faculty does not matter as long as the child is putting in his/her 100% efforts. Even Mata Sundri was listed under North campus, only recently it was excluded from the list owing to its proximity (location) and not the faculty/crowd. It's how you perceive it. Just because a student does not stand a chance to be in a college in the North Campus, does not mean his/her college is not good. This is not good to say that "inn colleges mein jaana worth it nahi hai". There are negligible seats in DU when viewed in light of the number of applicants who are applying in the University to get an admission in. Please don't downplay other colleges when you don't know for which course and faculty is the college famous for.
@@ujjwalsuri6847 because of the lack of seats in other colleges. Last year when I gave my CUET, i wasn't fully aware about the pattern of upgrading and freezing options available on CSAS portal. Only if i had upgraded, i could've made it into LSRC or DRC even for psychology. But now that where I am, i feel Mata sundri is a good college for the course.
To be honest, These colleges are still better than so called A+ Rated Private Universities....And yeah Tag matters a lot also DU is considering movement in other colleges on the basis of semester marks and unfilled seats....Central placement cell and what not....so please don't discourage the aspirants....

My sister got admission in Bhagini nivedita college for BA history honors which you mentioned as a worst college. She is sad but still decided to go to that college... To all those students who have taken their exam in the smoothest manner possible, I request you to remain humble and kind for the rest of your life Because for students like us whose exams were cancelled or postponed or shifted to a new centre on the exam day, and had given consent to choose earlier intimidated cities, but the choic le was thrashed like a piece of garbage and alloted us to a whole new different city which is 250 300 kms far away from our home, it is really painful and difficult. Even if you forget mental state, still the fact that it is nothing but a comic play with our career remains true You all are lucky ones, you all are gonna enjoy in the top colleges of DU, not students like us who work hard but still do not gain anything 🥺🥺😭😭😭😭

got 250 km away exam centre . on 16 august admit card section showed you can postpone your exam to 30 august to get first preference exam city. But still no change is made by NTA.😭😭😭😭I do not understand why UGC was promising to give nearest possible exam centre. I don't like his approach i got kirori mal collage for bsc program course but i know this course not worth it this will only give me the tag of kmc but what about my future then in 2 allocation i got atma ram santan dharm collage in Chemistry hons. And all i got to know about this collage is that everyone from this collage whom I talked said campus vibe is good faculty is awesome any people said to me you are getting kmc why did you upgrade and all but what i am going to do with that campus life after my graduation so i think course really matters 🙂
