Why would anyone drop off from developing games on roblox while having 5 years experience... you have so much knowledge you just need ideas to create great games that earn you more than a doctor in USA in a single month...
I'm somewhat of a roblox developer myself(I can script,animate, do VFX(Still learning) and even model) but, even though I believe that my skills are somewhat good I've lost that passion I once had for development 2 months ago and I'm not really sure if it was the lack of support I get on twitter whenver I post my work that I let get to my head or what. However, This video showed me that I need to keep going, keep getting better and better and eventually my hard work will pay off..Hopefully. If you're reading this, Thank you.

The cosmetic specs are so beautiful, this really motivates me to actually start coding. It would be really cool if you could make loads of individual cosmetic specs so the that it has a sense of uniqueness, only if, its not mentally taxing.

There will be devs in a skill range less than you and still make it to the big leagues. Thats the unfortunate truth of our work as developers. Just take your time, make those connections and persevere.
If you really think the success of a developer is more dependent on their connections than on their skill, creativity, mindset and work ethic, you're wrong.
@Namefvl it is. Ive developer for multiple front page games. Connections as a dev working for others is 10x more important. Its like that in real life aswell.
In the case you might see this, how do you get started on making your own custom vfx? It has always been an interest of mine, and I think it'll encourage me to work on more unique things in my game. This is beyond insane i mean, u are able to make music, vfx, Gui, sfx, music and do modeling like bro. This is amazing. You have an amazing talent accomplishing all this in less than 2 yrs
Tysm!! I used a while loop to constantly set the CFrame of the parts at an axis to an anchor point i made inside the character that keeps the same position as the HumanoidRootPart but not its CFrame. I Hope that helped ❤️

Im just a simple level 1 roblox animator and I've finally hit a dead end and idk what to do, only thing I know what to do is animate avatars, rig a katana on their hand as well as a gun/shield, at this point idk what to do this is the first thing I've actually kind of learned and figured out myself and it all pretty much ended in 2 days 😥
In my opinion, you should set a high goal that contains stuff that you dont yet know how to do. This way you would have to learn more things in the process of progressing to that goal. For example you can only animate avatars, rig weapons. If i were you my next step would be to animate a cinematic fight between 2 people, each having different weapons. This would push you to improve as you progress towards your goal. Thats just what i would do anyways, i hope that helped you ❤️

for animating i use FL studio, and for making my vfx i test them out with the emit plugin, only when im dealing with burst type fvx though. hope this helps ❤
I've been trying to learn scripting for like a year but my main issue is just i don't know what to do (if this even makes sense).. i finished peasfactorys beginner and advanced tutorials but now i don't know where to go, like what am i meant to do next? is copying youtube tutorials on things i don't know how to do a reliable way of learning?
in my experience, this is what i did to fully understand scripting. master the very fundamentals of scripting, gaining a deep understanding of basic elements of scripting like Boolean, strings, variables, syntax errors, etc. Only after that will scripting become a lot more easier. then you can begin to learn things like CFrame and functions, but you should only learn one at a time, mastering and really understanding them before moving on to the next. Eventually you will reach a stage where you can begin to start making things on your own using your imagination. i hope this helped ❤

i got a question relating to motivation, i was making it so your inventory positions would save which sounds simple but oh my goodness did i not know what i was doing. it literally took me like 3 weeks and it works. i used an inventory module which also taught me about metatables. Overall it was very mentally taxing but taught me a lot. have you been thru something like this? and how did you recover.
learning new stuff in scripting is always going to be somewhat mentally taxing. what i usually do is just push keep on experimenting with it until ive fully grasped the concept and if i ever feel like its too much i just stop scripting for a bit, do something fun, then get back to it. hope this could help ❤

Im in a learning curve right now. I know all the basics and how to make basics moves and effects like forming a chargeball then shooting it but there isnt much else to make.
yea the lerning curve (from my experience) just comes down to your imagination tbh. either that or asking a friend to give you an idea to script, that way you have an incentive to actually do something. hope this helps ❤

All of the specs that i make are unique to the users preference. So they can give me a description of what they want their spec to be pretty much
