    Thank you Ahmed. Nice presentation and please continue with the good work. I like the quality of your videos. Could you teach as how to calculate the quantity for Plaster board ceiling+skimming+painting?

    Hello, I'm not an engineer but Iam pretty good with math. I am trying to make an estimation for a small project in my yard. I would like to know Where do you find the rate and the manpower cost for your country??

    Very Nice one, I like Videos posted here. They are very simple and well explain and the videos are very good, Adel's voice is very clear, Watching this on a big screen is so nice. The videos are clear. HD.
    The presenter, Ahmed Adel displays a very good posture for the camera. The lighting is adequate.
    Most of all the Tutorials are very easy to follow, step by step.
    Keep it up.

    Very educative and informative videos.
    I have some concerns though,
    The area occupied by mortar in one square meter of blockwork will definitely reduce on the number of blocks in one SM.
    Consider taking the length of mortar in one SM and multiply by its thickness(20mm) ,i bet it will be more than for two blocks.
    Also on hollow blocks ,there are spaces in them that dont need mortar,hence should be deducted.

    • @CEPQS
      @CEPQS  2 роки тому

      Thank you for watching and comment 🙂🙏. Regarding number of blocks, you are correct, but I prefer not to deduct that to keep the estimate safe 👍 and regarding the hollow block, the hollow side is always down except for the first line where we fill it or use solid block. So the take is even for hollow block, the quantity of mortar calculated in the video will be required 🙂👍

    Why you multiple in BOQ by 1.2* total rate ? ( At 17.38)

    • @CEPQS
      @CEPQS  2 роки тому

      It is just a 20% margin to change the rate from cost to selling rate 🙂

    How to find percentage of physical work completed in .... constructional

    • @CEPQS
      @CEPQS  2 роки тому +2

      6 methods 👍 easiest one is completed quantity / total quantity x 100 %

    • @Cryptoguy89
      @Cryptoguy89 2 роки тому +2

      Thanks bro...For the individual work like block work or tile work we can ....we can compare the current completed quantity to the total quantity.....
      If this case comes to percentage completed for total building
      should we have to compare the amount expenditure to the total estimated cost?

      @@CEPQS. A good question, Imagine Handling a project of 500 Executive housing units with all the external works and that all the structure shells are standing, part of the roads, and parking are all done.
      A non-technical person may say that it's 85 % done, but the site manager knows that much finishing work is still pending.
      Thus, all the works executed using a mechanical plant move faster but finishing goes slow so one may not notice at all.
      It's tricky, that a client may also see that he has only paid 35% of the contract sum
      but the site looks complete only that he does not realize that costly fixing is yet to be done.

    • @CEPQS
      @CEPQS  2 роки тому

      @@hanningtonopondo8907 yeah, projects always look complete from the outside while so much pending finishing inside reduces the % a lot. That’s why the completion percentage should based on the % of completion of all project items 👍
