What are your thoughts on reports of Kyrie's threat?
First Things First: Cris Carter and Nick Wright ridiculous
First Things First: Cris Carter and Nick Wright sounds like Kyrie can do no wrong, if LeBron made the same threat he’d be demonized. I hate listening to convos where there’s no logic. I’ll go argue with my girl if I want that!
First Things First: Cris Carter and Nick Wright Normally I’m good with Nick, but not this time. Cris nailed this on the head.
Nick is to emotionally attached to this for some reason. This isn’t even reporting on his behalf.... he’s speaking more like a fan, than a sports caster.
Irving took control of his career just like the GM do to these players. Boogie was traded after the All-Star game and told on national tv while being interviewed. Good for Irving and anyone else that decides to make a move to be happy in the work place that’s positive for them.
ldg_ 7th
Exactly, looked like nick was going to cry. Why are sports teams allowed to do whatever they want but the players don't get the same liberty.
Isn't it funny how this story has broke 5 months after the trade. Almost like a certain someone is trying to take attention of off their dysfunctional mess of a situation right now.
Ben Smith couldn't agree more
Very perceptive
EXACTLY what I was thinking
I said the same thing.
Nick in his feelings lmao 😂😂😂
It's funny how both of them are looking at Nick like he's crazy but still try to be respectful.
Kingsley Oji Nick the only one who really knows about basketball in the show. is he bias with LeBron? yea. but he was right on this one. Kyroe acting like he is the organization lol weak move.
But it wasn't. It was timely and effective and his strategy worked. Assuming this is the whole story It was a gamble that paid off because the Cavs are a mess.
And hes more than biased, hence the disbelief on the faces of his colleagues.
Erick He wasn't right idiot, your another Bronsexual ignoring all the details of the situation. Gtfoh
Nick loves to bash athletes not named Lebron
Nick whines so much
Nick talking about Kyrie extorting the Cavs like LeBron doesn't do the same thing 🤔
Salsitude exactly lol it’s ok for Lebron to say aye I don’t feel like playing for 2 weeks I’ll be back later but he’s trying to crucify Kyrie lol
When did Lebron do anything close to what Kyrie did? Please explain.....
Kay Stone he said Lebron extorts the cavs which he does lol If that has to be broken down to you. You either a blindness Lebron fan or just flat out incompetent
When did Lebron fake a surgery? Can’t believe you defending flat earth. Kyrie as stupid as his beliefs
Kay Stone In the sense of threatening the franchise to get them to do something?
1. Leaving Cleveland to go to Miami
2. Making Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh take lesser roles while in Miami
3. Trading Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love
4. Trying to trade Kyrie for Paul George, Klay Thompson, and Eric Bledsoe.
5. Trying to trade Kevin Love
6. Getting Cavs Management to resign Tristan Thompson, Jr Smith, and Iman Shumpert to huge contracts
7. Turning everyone into a catch and shoot player and then complaining they don't have any playmakers
8. Not committing to resigning
9. Getting coaches fired because he doesn't like them.
10. Getting GMs fired because they didn't do what he wanted.
There's 10 reasons. I could go on but I'm sure you get the idea.
In terms of sitting out or faking an injury, I never said anything about LeBron doing that. He just rests a quarter of the season and still gets paid for it even though he's not injured. If Westbrook and Harden can go all season without resting, he should be able to do so as well
Nick sounds like hes going to cry.
He said that because Lebron was telling the Cavs to not trade him. He doesnt like Lebron having control on his career. If I'm that good of a player, I wouldn't want anyone else having control on my career.
Nick Wright got killed in this segment lol
Nick sounds so hurt lmfaoo
Gavin V Somebody take the stake out of that vampire's heart! Lol.😄😅😭
I LOVE Kyrie for this!! The Cavs didn't HAVE to fold. They could've called his bluff. But they didn't, and the Cavs got GOT. Kyrie did the impossible and took control of his own career to create a new Kingdom, while being in the Kings Kingdom. Not every player would have the confidence or even the BALLS to attempt what Kyrie did. I respect Kyrie even more for this. And look at him now. Top of the Eastern conference. Check Mate! 💯
Elijah Obasanya lol kingdom, he hasn't conquered anything
Yeah he did great since then 😂😂😂
Your a clown
Nick Wright stay taking L's to Cris Carter lol
nick just mad kyrie left lebron lmao
for a second i thought nick was about to start crying.
Greg Clarke The wittle baby couldn't drink he bottle on air! Lol.😭
So we are going to skip right on through LeBron's hissy fit over not getting Paul George and leaking trade rumors so that Kyrie Irving would force a trade? It just so happened that it backfired on LeBron. So I suppose now Kyrie is at fault. Right. Good way to spin this.
Josimar Ruiz lol so you can verify LeBron leaked it or are you an nba insider that does UA-cam comments on the side?
And in these "leaked trade rumors" was Lebron also threatening to sit on the bench WITH PAY until paul george arrived? Let me know!
R u Kyrie
the George trade was rumored to be for Love not Irving wasn't it??
someone is mad cause the Cavs arent going to the Finals LOL
Keep dreaming bro
I bet you are a celtics fan. Tell me, how does it feel gettin swept all years?
Oh wait, dont tell me. I'll just see it again this year
Not a celtics fan x'D. Good try though
MarvellousDriller Yop idk those 17 banners hanging just scream “swept”
What morality is in business negotiations is Nick Wright talking about? If I need surgery on my knee, heck it is my God given right to do it. Forget business, I am using it as a negotiation tool.
S .McNeal Exactly! Use any leverage you can get!
Then why hasn't he had it ?
Lmao Nick and people agreeing with him are just butthurt af. Kyrie actually needs surgery so he was able to use that loophole, you think any player can have surgery on a perfectly healthy body part? Lmao that argument is dunb af. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Kyrie didnt choose where he went? Lol if the Cavs traded him to the Suns and he was having a terrible year, no one would even care about this. Y’all are just hating because his success in Boston
He is very successful indeed 😂😂😂
Nick Wright mad cause Kyrie left his beloved Bron.
Just came to watch nick get triggered
“To extort a team like that, & force your way out is... is...” gangsta ! 😂
Also nick, getting paid while getting hurt is called disability and that is permissible by labor laws
Punit Modi not when its intentional dude research
Punit Modi not if your faking it's called fraud
Kyrie is a savage
Nick mad af....lol
Look at Nick stuttering HAHAHAHA Lol
Nick... this argument is ridiculous! You have to be kidding me throwing all of these accusations at Kyrie, and totally dismissing any culpability of the Cavaliers organization AND Lebron James! I am a lifelong Cavs fan and even I think that the Cavs did him dirty. I don't know the details of his relationship with Lebron, but I definitely think the Cavs didn't do right by him. Case in point... He was originally (Pre-Lebron) going to be the face of the organization, he also played a a MAJOR part in winning that championship in 2016. For him to be brought up in trade talks after his contributions to the team is ridiculous! That team had MANY problems when they lost the championship in 2017, but Kyrie wasn't one of them. Regardless of what he did to get out, I AIN'T MAD AT HIM!
Damon Asberry and the whole league knows that. Kyrie was right
CC bodied him in this debate
Tiouba Parris NBS never seen Nick stutter this much 😂😂😂he was so frustrated it had me dead
Bodied, like bullied, or leaned heavily, or overmatched him ?
It is going to be funny to see Nick watch Boston go to the Finals instead of Cavs.
Kyrie is a G for this one
RayMo kyrie is a inmature kid for this one
Erick He probably wouldn't have took it there if they would have let him go. He was trying to leave by any means necessary. Looks like he made the right choice.
Notice Kyrie is gone and the drama is still in Cleveland. #caseclosed
Leroy Smith 😶
Kyrie did what’s best for him, nothing but respect for him
Martin Sanchez facts
Aww Nikki feelings hurt
Why is this issue coming out now instead of prior to the trade? Where's the leak coming from at this point in time? Something's smells funny here.
Ron Lao Lebrons camp...
Kyrie would rather amputate his leg than play with lebron
😂😂😂 dead!
What's wrong with him sitting out? He has the right to have surgery when he wants. He's already put more wear on the knee to help Cleveland get their first ring
I’m done with nick wright. I’m ok with you always defending lebron with stats. But why you always gotta downgrade everybody else? Kyrie wanted out, why can’t you accept that?? “Durant has the easiest job of any superstar” really man?? Just accept that these other guys are catching up. Just accept it nick. Because you’re getting annoying
Chris Rodriguez Do you actually have an argument against his point? Or are you just going to tell Nick to accept it without providing any reason why he should.
Blair Holmgren You can’t overlook what these other guys are doing man. That’s all I’m saying. Durant is a two way superstar player who is the reigning finals mvp. Kyrie left the team because of lebron, and now stories are coming out about how lebron only passes when he sees “assist passes” plus he’s not playing any defense. This cavs team, who according to nick and others “won the Kyrie trade” when it happened, wouldn’t stand a chance against the warriors in the finals and the way they’re looking, wouldnt even beat the Celtics or raptors in a 7 game series. So yes, although I agree lebron is the best rn maybe even the goat, you can’t downgrade what everybody else is doing. Stop hating on Kyrie and Durant
Blair Holmgren if Kyrie would’ve left any other team like this. He would have no problem. What if Leonard was to do this to get out of San Antonio, before Kyrie did this? I’m sure nick would have no problem with that. But no, he just has to defend lebron by hating on Kyrie smh. Kyrie wanted to get away from lebron, and that’s it, face it
Blair Holmgren was that enough for you??
If a player did this to get to the cavs, nick would be defending the player. But everything that jeopardizes lebrons legacy, is unfair....
Nick Wright upset that the tip he rides every day isn't doing well and blames Kyrie 😂 Kyrie won this one!
That was a business BOSS MOVE.
Nick wright opinion would be completely different if LeBron did it😂😁
Yo Chris be sonning Nick😂
Jj Millz78 No means No with men too! Lol.😁😂
Nick Wright is insanely biased and pro Lebron to a fault. he will do and say anything to get Lebron to not look like the bad guy.
kevin destin lebron could shoot somebody literally and nick wrong would find a way to defend him
william hardenbergh 💯
right he'd say, "kyrie leaving drove lebron to do that. how could kyrie make lebron a murderer like how?" lol
"Nick.....you are not right" lol
GET NICK WRIGHT OFF TV HE IS SO ANNOYING
Nick salty because the narrative that everyone wants to play with LeBron is getting exposed
Ben Panzeca he's getting exposed as the best player in the world
yungsosaTV Team Sport
Nick Wright on Lebron's payroll lol
Yet Lebron can keep the Cavs hostage .
And Lebron brings a ring to a below .500 team. don't forget that too
Useph Spearman lebron, kyrie and k love. Don’t forget that either
CC I think ur missing Nick's point. If true Kyrie is clearly wrong and it's the worse way to force a trade... period!
The FPV Life he is but he speaking to himself. Nick had to had a dialogue with a brick wall
Its coz kyrie wanted away from lebron thats why nick has a problem with it
fatboy stifler Definitely.. If Derrick Rose, Kobe or Westbrook did that, he would crush them 🤦🏻♂️..He would say LeBron was great, easy to play with but Kobe is a ballhog and a team disrupter
Chris burned nick when he brought up Lebron. 😂
Nick wrongs stance is all over the place wtf is he even saying
Cc got him on this one. Nick was stumbling so bad trying to come up with something to rebuttal lol
Lebron was more wrong for trying to control another player's career, going behind Kyrie's back and trying to shut down the trade. It's one thing to advocate for guys to come play there, but if they want to leave, that's their choice. It's kinda shady to try and get in the middle of someone else's career like that. Teammate or not. I don't see anything wrong with Kyrie using his body as leverage. I don't see it as worse than Lebron going behind Kyrie's back and trying to make sure he wasn't traded.
RetroCNY Agreed. I think both went to extremes. LeBron should have not tried to stop the trade(esp after they already had Kyrie in trade talks) and Kyrie should have not gone to the extent to get surgery.
RetroCNY Well said! 👊👍👏
But everyone wants to play with lebron lol
And irving always been on the trading rumors since 15. LeBron was willing to trade irving to get wade last year
Nick is a clown , he's looking for anything to blame except LeBron, the main reason he left
Nick wright does look like squidward.....
Nick Wright is salty af about Cavs/Bron getting fleeced by Kyrie/Ainge
Lebron will get the last laugh regardless this year maybe next year definetly
CHi Yass! 😄😅He couldn't even talk straight he was so salty or defend what he thought he was trying to say! Lmao! 😄😅😭
😂 Nick couldn't stop stuttering after Chris and meme said they didn't have a problem with it.
WhoAm I facts
This is what you call a slippery slope because what’s stopping other players from doing this
Malcolm Choice
They should add wording to their contracts so they can't do this
Good for Kyrie
Thumbs up only because of nick's single-minded hate for anything that isn't lebron
If nick had a gun he would shoot kyrie for doing this to leborn
I haven't even finished the ad before this video, and I already know Nick right is going to explode
kyrie is happier now than he ever was in cleveland... and that is all it takes for nick to take another L
Sir Benet
hahahahahahahahaha
Nick is trash
AP not everyone values championships equally, especially when they are won as part of the lebron system
Ridiculous seeing nobodies comment on the emotions of a man they've likely never met
If LeBron said that "oh it's great the best move for him it's smart "
KiddKlutch3420 exactly
It’s all about leverage nick doesn’t matter if it’s a no trade clause, injury, etc...you use whatever leverage you have to get what you want. Lebron has done that, kyrie did that. Everybody uses whatever they can to get what they want
Punit Modi facts
I'm not even a Lebron fan but how can you defend Kyrie for this?
cgamb123 it's not about defending Kyrie, it's about blaming him for everything
They aren't blaming him for everything, they're blaming him for threatening to get surgery if he wasn't traded lmao
ReezyBeBreezy You don't get what I'm saying. I'm talking about the fans in the internet who are saying Kyrie is 100% at fault and LeBron/Cavs deserve no criticism
eric garcia smh it the internet. Half of these ppl are trolling
4:30
Actually Kyrie was coming off his rookie contract so he wasn't allowed to get a No Trade Clause yet. So that was not an option.
Kyrie used the leverage he has. I don't see a problem.
Nick wanna cuss everybody out on that set but he gotta catch himself 😂😂😂
Kyrie just trying to move on and take a new path of his career now all this information leaking from the cavs trying to paint him as a villain trying to distract from their downfall smh.
Kyrie could have added, "And I assure you I will follow through with this threat, as soon as I prove that the earth is indeed FLAT".
Why is Nick upset the owners are billionaires making money off the players. Jesus it’s so immoral when a player tries to exercise they’re hand to make a decision about their career
I still have no idea what nick is arguing about.
0:44 " KNEE-DED this procedure" im done
But wasn’t Kyrie’s name in trade rumors before he demanded the trade and threatened to sit out and have surgery? 🤔
Tierre Jevon exactly. Nick acting like Lebron didn’t go to management and tell them to trade kyrie for Chris Paul
Yea his name was in trade rumours.... THE YEAR BEFORE. So we don't know for a fact that that's why he requested a trade. Also, virtually everyone who doesn't have a no trade clause has their name thrown around in trade rumours at one point or another. They don't throw temper tantrums over it.
I may be Lebron's biggest fan, but Nick takes it to a whole new level. Definitely the driver of the bandwagon!
Nick is salty kyrie left and le brons cavs struggling without him get over it move on let it go
SquidWard is sooo mad 😂
Davicito 😭😭😭
😂😂😂😂
Davicito 😄😅😭 Good one!
Nick Wright is a clown.
Nick really can’t grasp the concept that any player in this world would actually not want to play with lebron
It’s absolutely insane to me how no one sees this to be problematic. Kyrie forced his way out of Cleveland while being under contract by using a preexisting injury. That’s okay to do? Really? So it would be totally alright if Lebron says: “I’d like for you to trade me to Houston before the trade deadline. And of you don’t, I’m gonna sit out the remainder of the season and tell the public it was due to injuries.”?
farrellcityking1 big whoop lol... This is more of an indictment on the cavs upper management and LeBron than kyrie...
Players have no leverage in the NBA, they'll try what they can. Plus LeBron went and told management not to trade him. You can't fault someone that wants to control their career
farrellcityking1 No offense my friend but you’re lacking perspective here. You have to consider a few things here. Lebrons commitment issues. Lebron has a history of being noncommittal and leaving his previous team high and dry in a bad situation during his free agency. Lebron essentially used his power to give guarantee contracts to scrubs amounting to the highest payroll in nba history. Considering that, and the fact that kyrie signed his max deal BEFORE he even knew lebron was coming back to Cleveland is totally unfair. While kyrie is under contract, lebron benefits from his short term contracts. If lebron left in free agency kyrie would be left with a overpriced broken roster with little movement to improve the team that Lebron made..And of course... the constant dram a in the locker room. It started from the very beginning, the “fit in” tweet to kevin love, the annual January slump that leads to a media circus around the cavs. And finally.. the narrative. People forget, the media consistently bashed kyrie and kevin love for being losers without lebron. They cant win without lebron, they have a massive losing record without lebron.. kyrie never made the playoffs without lebron, he cant carry a team by himself. Lebron takes all the credit while kyrie and love where diminished in value... look at love now.. still being scapegoated..People forget, after the “block” in the finals there were still a couple more possessions for the cavs to score and the warriors to score. The block was indeed a big play, but the warriors couldve scored the next play down and we wouldve never heard of the block. Kyries SHOT brought the chip to Cleveland. It was the biggest play in cavaliers basketball history. And of course loves defense on steph prevented a potential tying. Given all that, lebron was hailed, and kyrie and love were still diminished.. The following finals we saw lebron do what? Stat rack to “average” a meaningless triple double in a blowout finals.. lebron didnt care about winning, he cared about his perception, and like always he got praised even in the loss..So yeah, if i was kyrie in his position, a player with competitive fire and wanting to win and prove his self worth, have control of his destiny, and be in a drama free environment i would do what he did.
Yep it's ridiculous. I really don't even get the point of a contract anymore.
Nick wrong bout to cry 😢 lol
CC got my boy stuttering...lol. Nick you know anything goes in negotiations
Not a Cavs fan but a former fan of Uncle Drew. Love is always in trade talks yet he'd still play ball. Kyrie signed a contract, and while he could ask to get traded, he should still perform his obligation.
Duh??!!!! Kyrie learned that from the drama queen. I demand JR and Tristan's salary to be higher or I'll leave??!!!
CC is right, nick is just salty because if Lebron did that he’ll have a WAAAAYYY different opinion on this
So you think players should be allowed to threaten their teams with surgery’s if they aren’t traded to a good team? What happens if Kawhi, Westbrook, Embiid, etc decide they want to do this? These players signed contracts, they’re adults, they made commitments and signed their names to it. What’s the point in having contracts if the players can break them whenever they want?
Nick wants kyrie to be a bad guy so bad. It’s sad so sad. does the network really like this BS
Kyrie is a genius.
He didn't want to play for the cavs, so if they don't trade him he's just gonna get his knee better. You want a player on the court who obviously doesn't want to be there?
• Devin • It will look bad for him to in performance and facial expressions so leave this man alone and get another (Sucker) oops I mean player! 😁
Clydes Winfield like if you don't want to be at a job then you gonna let that shiii be known, and it's gonna hurt the team even more
Nick is speaking to a brick wall...
Storminmormn6 exactly lol
Nick looks stupid talking haha he really loves LeBron.. and hates Kyrie for leaving
So true.
Just here to see a triggered Nick Wright.....
That Cris Carter laugh at the beginning is all u need to know about this segment. Nick Wrong is wearing a wine and gold thong.
Why is it that teams can do whatever they want with players, but players can't do whatever they want with teams?
Javier Gomez because the players' contracts say so. If they don't like it let them go and play in a different league
Nick LOVES his LBJ, anything against him is automatically wrong....LMAO
AO O Nick and Shannon should get married.
Just watched Shannon today about LBJ and their game this past weekend and yes Shannon is just as bad Nick. But Nick a little more.
Tantrum triggered lmao
How did nick wright get this opportunity. All he does is defend lebron. Get over it, some people do not like playing with him.
Why is Nick Wright on TV? He's like Skip Bayless on steroids.
Edgar Gordillo thank you for saying that he's sleep with a LeBron pillow
