15 years later and the only thing that's changed about him: his clothing style is very slightly different. I haven't seen someone change so little over so much time since Patrick Stewart was Captain on the Enterprise!
Me too, ...btw very loud laughs by some individuals are a measure for real funny jokes like this one 00:47 ...makes you feel good about a joke when you hear those single very loud laughs
Anton van Boxtel technically he paid his taxes but he didn’t pay the amount he was supposed to with his earnings. It was also done through “legal loopholes” so again technically not illegal. But wrong.
@Jimmy Carr Center I wouldn't consider Jimmy Carr an "underdog." He's had multiple specials and TV appearances and he's easily the best one liner comic alive today.
Actually, The UK was made up of different Celtic dialects until English was born, And different kingdoms/areas spoke with different accents that came from their native Celtic dialect when speaking old English. It wasn't until the 1700s in England that 'elocution education' was brought into play by the Royal Household, They learnt to speak precise and clear so everyone understood everyone in important governing.. And Made classes available to anyone if you could afford it. (Hence the term 'Posh' being labelled to Royalty & Aristocracy)Dubbed 'The Queens's English', It is a taught way of speaking in certain establishments. it was never an actual accent, It was to get rid of accents.
Actually, the American accent was more of the original English accent, British accent was created in the 1920's I think to distinguish the rich, still it does sound more proper though
i love his act, just all these 1liners so awsome
I finally get to see him live in May
Brilliant jokes.

Wolfram Stahl he lost a lot of weight and actually looks better now, I reckon.
HIS ENTIRE COMEDIC DELIVERY CHANGED
He didn’t laugh at his own jokes back then which lent them more weight
Love Jimmy Carr!

When it comes to paying taxes, some comedians will stop at nothing.
Anton van Boxtel technically he paid his taxes but he didn’t pay the amount he was supposed to with his earnings. It was also done through “legal loopholes” so again technically not illegal. But wrong.
04:48 the joke went a mile above that guy's head
He is a genius!!!
"When it comes to charity, a lot of people will stop at nothing" This is so brilliant I'm dying xD.
Such classic comedy!! 😂😂 I've seen this so many times and It never fails to make me laugh hahaha
straight up jokes No BS.
Love his stand up and distraction. He's been here once, love if he'd come back
Where’s here
Great set, but hate the constant "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO"ing from that one chick *___*
is it true that all 10 thumbs down came from a jealous dane cook? jimmy carr is easily one of the best comics performing today.
Bryan Mannoia Dane Cook is at a level of fame where he isn’t jealous of anyone. It’s usually the other way around with most comics.
@Jimmy Carr Center I wouldn't consider Jimmy Carr an "underdog." He's had multiple specials and TV appearances and he's easily the best one liner comic alive today.
Carr always looks like he’s interested in two things in the back corners of the room.
does he age ? xD
Yes but it's in a painting in a vault
He wears makeup to look younger you can see it in some of his more recent shows lmao
He's not the king of one liners.... He's the king of truth
🌺Lovely 😊 just brilliant comedian😊
Man could have written that a bit easier to read. Sorry 😐
'
Lovely just such a brilliant comedian'
🌺😊🌺
I wish this guy was my English teacher. LOL
The background reminds me of The Amanda Show
"I don't have an accent, that's just how it sounds properly" America scoffs at you
it shouldn't, large parts of America can barely speak English without their horrible accents messing it up.
Bryan Mannoia but Britain didn't use the accent till 400 years ago

when he was saying she went crazy, you can tell he was about to say 'fuckin mental'
that year i was born.
An unfortunate year.
If I had a sparkly shirt like that I to could be a star.
Man this was the year I was born...
Why are you watching this then? Not my place to say, but for kids this isn't that appropriate.
a bit old, but he really is one of Britain's best comics...still
His accent changed quite a bit.
You've got that Limerick face Jimmy. Where's your caravan?
He’s still telling this bolloks now in 2024 , half of its Bob monk house jokes 👍
why does he always look at the ceiling :p
its because there is a balcony floor that people can get seats at.
He doesnt want to look down upon people who look up to him.
dude, wtf with the volume differentials
jesus, fucking keep everything the same volume. Main video: level 5. Ad for other video: level 10. What the fuck.
I always wondered why he always looks at the ceiling when he does his routine.
There is a balcony there
Sparkling shirt, tan suit.. Yep definitely a show before tax evasion
Such darkness swept in posh britishness.
Gaylords of infinity British comedy IS dark.
Volume is too low, can't hear
I don't get the Pataka joke, damn.....
The girl Pataka would probably hear her name being called quite often, hence, the joke.
I hate how during all his performance he's looking straight up.
Wero theres two levels to the theatre. So he is looking up to the gallery too.
So he didn’t always laugh at his own jokes in that annoying affected laugh he does nowadays.
That the Guardian told you today. Try to think for yourself.
@@bobsina9923 Is that you Jimmy 😂
I love Jimmy Carrs' humour, but the stupic noise at thd beginning nearly deafened me, then had to put volume up so high to hear him that I gave up.
You're too old for your sound system.
Actually, the American accent was more of the original English accent, British accent was created in the 1920's I think to distinguish the rich, still it does sound more proper though
Source?
Dude that’s so incorrect. Lol
Why doesn't he age? What's he taking?
He definitely looks like he's lost a bit of weight
When he was funny
His voice sounds weird
He wasn't as good as he is now.
Yeah... Usually people get better at their professions as they do it for longer... What's new?
It's only worth noting when someone gets worse. u_u
