Loved my time in SF last September . Did an almighty road trip involving Yosemite to Palm Springs after . California is forever in my heart . Many wishes from England
Thank you!! Finally I found a video with some of the places I visited 2 years ago and some new ones that I am sure I am visiting next time 😃. Stay safe.
I want to visit San Francisco , but my boyfriend doesn’t . He thinks The Golden Gage Bridge is the only thing there . Maybe this video will change his mind . Thanks for sharing . Amazing channel .
I’m loving your videos! Me, my husband and our daughter are going on a 3 week road trip through California and I’m watching your videos and noting down all the cool places to go! 👍🏻
Stumbled across this video. As a SF native I am glad you guys enjoyed your day trip out here! You guys should check out Musée Mécanique next time when you guys are at the pier!
You guys did a great job planning this out. Pro-tip: board the cable car at the next stop instead of at the turnaround - you can skip the line where all the tourists are. Best way to ride it is to stand on the outside facing east.
@@californiathroughmylens great I I have 3 days there so I know I can do as much as I can then. Your videos helped me on my LA trip last year & I'll finish up the stuff I didn't get to go to. Hahah maybe I'll bump into this time.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Anders Lian thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Unfortunately with all this pandemic many places are close. Wish everything was open and as fun touring like your video here. Thanks for sharing. Alot has changed. 😩
@@californiathroughmylens Hey! How did you go from one place to the other? We are going there by car, but thinking to park it somewhere and go without it.... thanks for your answear
Thanks for the itinerary! One question, though... did you walk all over or take ubers or what? The only two transportation pieces you mentioned were BART and the cable car. I've done walking trips of SF before, but your itinerary seemed big for just walking.
I'm from the bay area and the city has cool spots to go but the bay area as a whole has way more to offer your gotta be from here or have friends or family here to know where to go
Hey, great video and i have watched all of your uploads, i'm planning a road trip next year and San fran is one of the place i will be going to, did you walk round all the places or did you drive? Thanks from the UK and keep uploading! i love a good road trip
I just visited San Francisco from New York. I have to say the city is just as dirty as New York. It has a serious problem with homelessness and drug use, and this made walking through the city very uncomfortable at times. The homelessness is pretty intense. The city has high levels of inequality from area to area which makes seeing the homeless in some areas quite depressing. Also, the golden gate is difficult to get to and often covered by large clouds so go on a sunny day. And the fishermans wharf in n out (the only one in downtown San Francisco) sometimes has a huge line and from my experience poorer quality food than elsewhere, but try different times and line might be shorter and the food better. I did enjoy Chinatown as it had cheap shops and nice places to eat. Overall, SF is okay for a short visit if you avoid certain areas. If you want to avoid the bad experience I had with homelessness, the areas I found the largest homelessness problem were Union Square, the Financial District, and especially around Market Street. Its not uncommon to see rows of people on the floor and in tents, smoking weed and drinking liquor, crying or yelling, and shooting up
Diesel man Sure. Its also possible that they rushed through the city in one day and showed only the highlights. I wasn't comparing my experience to theirs, but thank you for pointing out how they had a better trip
Diesel man I agree! I think SF is nice for a short day or two visit. Especially if you keep away from certain areas and take the metro or a cab wherever you go. And In-N-Out is always worth the wait for an east-coaster like myself
I live in Manhattan. The homelessness in San Francisco is far more open and intense. In Manhattan, the city hides its homeless problem, at least in corners of the city far from the center of the city and major tourist areas. I live on 2nd Avenue and I do not see many homeless near me. You would be hard pressed to find a homeless person inside Central Park. You will see it on 8th-11th avenues, and around the Tenderloin district. But you won't see tents, wide-open public drinking and intravenous drug-use. They have to hide in New York; they are wide out in the open in San Francisco. Not that either situation is better or worse. Its a harsh reality either way. I just think its worth pointing out to potential tourists to the city.
You say clam chowder in San Fran is better than Boston's Clam Choowwdaaaaah?! Wow that's a bold statement but can't wait to try in San Fran so we can compare the two. Great video btw! :)
Well we do have the biggest ocean in the world right next to us (Pacific Ocean) those who are saying it’s overrated are just ignorant and don’t appreciate what SF has to offer. Love this city ❤️
Perfect! Is the itinerary shown in the video in sequence? I'm planning to have a day trip to San Francisco and hoping that I could manage my time planning where to go first/last so that I could visit all these places too. Hoping to get a reply!
I’m from The City and was gunna write a negative comment even before I watched it, but not bad. Although you(s) picked a mostly sunny day(s), covered a lot of ground in one day (bart and public transportation is in no WAY gunna get you to all those places in one day) and just let everybody know how much da Ghirardelli cost to let em’ know broke-asses not welcome.

Sounds like a great road trip! Thanks for the comment

Stay safe.
Pro-tip for those who want to visit the Bay Area: take BART/Uber. That way you won’t be in traffic and you want have to struggle to find parking.
love the addition of timestamps! really allows us to see how manageable it is
Ya, it is a very busy day for sure haha but it's a lot of fun
wow all these things in one day!😍

Completely subconsciously when you guys started walking across the bridge I thought man I've seen that bridge destroyed so many times lmao

We took public transportation (BART and bus) and took the Cable Cars and Lyft/Uber as well.

Two Brits Go don’t have chowder at Boudin. It is flavorless IMO.
Honestly, everything in SF is overrated.
Well, SF chowder is just New England style. It's the sourdough bread bowls that add the locations flavor.
Well we do have the biggest ocean in the world right next to us (Pacific Ocean) those who are saying it’s overrated are just ignorant and don’t appreciate what SF has to offer. Love this city ❤️
What did you use for transportation? You video is very helpful

Thanks for the comment, it's a great area to explore!
Nice video 👍🏼
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
How were you guys getting around? Did you rent a car or busing it around?
Combination of Public Transit and Uber/Lyft. To see this much in one day you will def need to utilize Uber/Lyft a little bit to fit it all in.
The BART is pretty efficient.
Hi guys, what was your means of transportation?
Did you walk the whole day? That’s a lot of places, Uber?
Baby turtle bread 😂. Ha!
haha I know right?
how it looks like with drone? it is allowed do fly over and near the golden gate? great videos
How did you guys get around the city
I love visiting San Francisco , but the cost of living is ridiculous.
Is it safe walking around the city?
👀🙂👍🏻
music link please ????

With everything else to see, don't waste time at Rincon Park.
Oh no you didn’t go to mission district, next time!
I think you guys have great information but honestly it’s heard to listen to you guys with all the music. Please tone the music down.
Sealions.
Boudin chowder is flavorless and not good at all. The chowder at Hog Island Oyster Co, Blue Mermaid, or Fog Harbor Fish House is 10x better.
Thanks for the suggestions, I do love Hog Island
Rincon park ...sounds like an Asian person saying Lincoln Park
My beautiful city is going down the tubes. I don’t really recommend visiting it anymore😢

I never understand why someone would want to walk up to Lombard street. This must be the most overrated and boring sight anywhere in the world
how it looks like with drone? it is allowed do fly over and near the golden gate? great videos
Unfortunately you are not allowed to fly near the Golden Gate Bridge with a drone
