One of the original buzzers I was given 12/13 years ago and its origin a few years before that. Originally tied with Spanflex and on a Bronze Grub Hook.
Over the years many versions have evolved.
Eventually settled with the Hayabusa 387BN
Probably makes no discernable difference and the fish won't mind I'm sure.
Hook: Hayabusa 387BN
Thread: UTC Black 70 Den
Rib: UTC Wire Black Brassie
Collar: Fine Red Holographic Tinsel
Cheeks: Fine Old Gold Tinsel
Tips:
Finish the fly with cellire varnish
3 Coats on the Body this helps create the segmented effect.
4 on the Thorax

I am looking for a snail pattern and how to fish it. I am picking up fish with loads of snail in them so it is obviously a major food item , but how do fish it?
