Thank you for the information. I got a key lime tree today. It's full of flowers. I got another one a few years ago and planted it on the ground. I live in California. I had fruit all the time but I sold the house and now I got another key lime tree for the new house. Thank you again and God bless you.
What part of the country do u live in . I live in southern California inland were it's dry but humid two months of the year
CALI
I got one from home depot I just transfer from 3 gallon to 5 gallon
What is the size of your pot and I am thinking to put worm castings and black kow with potting soil is it ok?
Please watch my citrus playlist to learn how to care for your citrus trees. Thanks
I just picked up a Mexican key lime 2 month ago.
Greetings Elder is there any way that I can grow citrus trees in 7 B or 8 b?
I asked my father and he stated google your area and what citrus trees can you grow there.
Peace Elder,
Gratitude for your knowledge on this. Can you tell me what type of soil you recommend for this tree?
Same soil amendments for all citrus trees. Please watch my citrus playlist.
I noticed my key lime is taking its time this first year, I'm glad you brought it up, I'll wait til next year. Thanks.
Very nice mexican lime. We used to have one planted in our old house and it always gave so much. I miss that tree. Just bought a new one. Going to keep it in container. Hopefully, it does well like yours.
I always have a hard time finding those size containers.
They do not make them anymore
how big are those pots?
information regarding containers is always in description. Furtherly this particular size is not being made by the comapny anymore. They do however still make all the other sizes up to 25 gallon. You may be able to find a few 40 gallon laying around though, but you would only find them at your local hydroponic shops. Check there and you never know, you may get lucky
My family got away from Mexican key lime tree, I'm not sure why maybe it had to do with it being finicky like you said, but I remember they were always a lime that could would work with lots of culinary dishes, and they were always producing bountiful fruit in southern California. With your guidance, perhaps I will nurture one. Thank you for all your suggestions.
