- What not to do in Police Quest II. I've done PQ1VGA and PQ3. Now this. Added Leisure Suit Larry easter egg. Short game. The typing is longer than the game itself. PQ4 has been done (thoroughly might I add) so I won't bother (go look it up).
It's not as [graphically] intense as PQ1VGA & PQ3, but hey it's still PQ nevertheless.

Just another reason why Text-Parser-Based games have aged poorly.
It's frighteningly coincidental that less than 5 months after this game came out - which features a bomb on a plane - that the Lockerbie Bombing happened.

Real question is - why is Jim so mean to Sonny I mean... damn dude, he's already dead.
If you think that's bad, you should see how Robin Hood's merry men talk about him whenever he dies in Conquests of the Longbow.

There's another death I remember as a kid, in the plane of you don't do anything when they hijack the plan it says something like "LOOKS LIKE YOUR GOING TO SPEND SOME TIME IN EGYPT" LOL

there is also one on the plane when you don't tune the gun properly and miss the hijacker when you shoot then he kills you resulting in a different message
@1Dudelove Cops don't know martial arts (unless they train independently), they know basic defensive tactics, but an ex-con could take one down. Unarmed doesn't necessarily mean not dangerous.
Awesome man. I didn't realize there were so many ways to die in this game! Good job..err... bad job! ... I remember thinking when this came out how awesome the graphics were as compared to Police Quest.

Nice! I saw a few you missed. Target practice = fire your gun when it's down, you shoot yourself in the foot. :-P Another one is fire your gun in a pocket of methane gas while in the sewer. The outcome is hilarious!
Man I was stuck for a really long time at the motel, where Bains put that shotgun trap. Of course it's years after that I discovered I hadn't done something important earlier on. Have to say that the game doesn't help you on these occasions. Nowadays adventures prevent players from being stuck in dead ends like this.
I remember a death in the sewer where you fall down a hole. I don't remember the text since the last time i played this, I was 6 years old.
You just hold down away from the door and you will pull back before the blast hits you.

Folks opinion was that he was distracted because he played a recently released game called Police Quest 2, and therefore did not saw the truck comming.
