Memories...memories of both Mana and Gonarhezu in the 80s...
Feeding a baby at night, sensing an elephant the other side of the canvas... in Mana.
Being choppered out of G game park because of mortar fire exploding in a holding camp for returning combatants...

We know the feeling! Great to see what all you packed to take with you guy's.
Cannot wait to see your footage of what I'm sure was an amazing trip to Mana Pools my absolute favourite park in Zimbabwe.
We have yet to visit Gonerezhou, hopefully on our next trip to Zim.

Thank you very much for the video if you see this comment i would like you to tell me if the cannin R7 wit 100 to 500mm lens setup is good for photography im thinking of hiring this for my next trip but i wondred if it is profesional gear???

@@Frans-hendrik-sh1co, I’d suggest renting the R6 instead of the R7 with the 100-500, otherwise you’ll be a bit too tight in my oppinion. The R6 is also much better quality than the R7.

We use a 80 Series 1998 model Landcruiser more or les same size as your vehicle. Space/ weight is limited. Leave extra chairs- take only 1 set. You eat 15min at table but relax longer. Leave 1 table. Leave your pop-up cubicle- invest in Quick picth shower mounted on roofrack. Take smaller spade-to heavy. The yellow garden tipe do the same job. In Gonarezhou there is pit toilets-leave your poo-chair. If no facility use yellow spade to dig hole. Look at jet boil gas series to replace Cadac bottle. Leave bin bag. Heavy duty trash bag on top of vehicle will do the job. Look at bed rolls to replace matress and stretchers- you save a lot of space. You been around the block but I recon you can still drop weight and big bulky extra stuff. We tow and we use rooftop tent so space, weight and bulky items is out. We carry 40L fuel and 200L water. There is endless new products on the marked to replace/ upgrade your own setup. Enjoy Mana and Gonarezhou!

@TheSafariExpert also loose your wash up setup in total. The frame itself is bulky. Invest in collapsable bucket. Washup on roofrack table and place on table ontop of towel to dry. Replace only 1 item to loose 3 items witch take up a lot of space.

Don’t you exaggerate with all what you take?
