The experience was a very moving one for Elton, which he has talked about quite a lot ever since. He often continues to dedicate this song to Ray. Peace to Ray Charles ...
Mr. Charles was dying and this was his last recording you can hear he was tired but excellence to his last performance. What a life what a talent. R.I.P.❤

I think this is an incredible version. Ray and Elton both put their heart and soul into their singing in this version. RIP Ray. Both are absolutely incredible entertainers. Ray was without a doubt one of the greatest singers of ALL time. Elton will also go down in history as one of the 20th centuries greatest singers/composers/songwriters.

I was today years old when I learned Ray Charles' last recording before his death was a duet with Sir Elton John.
Two legendary singers/pianists collaborating........and now I'm gonna go cry my eyes out. R.I.P. Ray.

Theyre completely different artists: elton has legendary piano skills and when he sings its like hes telling you a story. While on the other hand ray hit you right to the heart as if he was making you feel the same emotions,real emotions. Both legendary artists, legendary album.

WOW!!! Ray had 'it' right till his end [2004]. The 'soul' he added to this song is superb.

For goodness sake, Elton John was the one who wrote the song, and Ray obviously likes it enough and respect it enough to sing it!! Even the legend has respect for him, why can't you??? Saying when Ray sing Elton should be silence is like we must also wait for Elton John to die, until we can praise his work.
