Even if Donnie had homosexual attraction in the past... even if he experiences them present day, and into the future... it really does not matter if (1) he is voluntarily choosing to marry this woman, and (2) they both honor their vows to stay true to one another. A straight single man may choose to engage in premarital sex. That is his choice. A straight single man may choose to abstain from sex. That is his choice. Take it from someone who married a church man who looked and acted as straight as an arrow. I did not find out he was gay until after we got married. Not a good place to be as my marriage was never consummated, I take it never happened. He passed away within 4 years. I listened to the commentary and not once did I hear him say he loved her. I heard, "Donnie is quoted as saying, " Only thing missing in his life is marriage and it would make real family for him. As marriage is the aspect that makes family".
