Lost my respect for BBC when I saw their reporting of an incident I had witnessed in Poonch in 1998.
No doubt, they are good at their craft, but they pander to the taste of their varied audiences.
Same incident in J&K would be reported differently for their English, Hindi and Urdu audience.

Two Indian jets were shot down. One in Pakistani territory and other in Indian territory. Indian Airforce in panic shot down their own helicopter killing 6 IAF jawan. Clumsy Incompetent Airforce= IAF

2. IAF took full responsibility of the error leading to the accidental friendly fire. Probe too was launched into the issue.
3. You still didn't answer my question, DG ISPR claimed there are 2 pilots in Pakistani territory. He didn't say anything about the friendly fire incident at that time.

But your IAF consistently denying the fact that they were responsible for shoting their own helicopter killing their own people and blaming technical glitch for that . And after several days they only admitted their mistake when they realised that they cant hide the fact in front of their own inquiry.

When India carried out our actions we were perfectly within our rights to do so. As for Pakistan there was no reason nor moral justification for its actions.
Imran's reason is nonsense - Pakistan's intrusion in India as a justification to India's action against terrorist camps to prevent new terrorist attacks is illogical.
Under UN Charter esp. Article 2(4), All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.
However, under Article 51, Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security.
And the situation should be such that, action should be necessary and immediate, target should be specific which has caused a reason for this pre-emptive strike to be carried out. It doesn’t talk about territorial jurisdiction so it can be inside other country or across the border.
UNSC statement on 21st Feb, condemned the Pulwama terror attack and underlining the need to hold those responsible accountable. Significantly, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has been named in the statement as having taken responsibility for the attack.
Also 15 years ago, US took note of JeM's major terror training camp in Balakot found a mention in a purported secret US Defence Department file leaked by WikiLeaks.
So India’s action was a pre-emptive counter terrorism action against Jaish e Mohammad camps in Pakistan, based on credible intelligence that it was planning another attack on Indian soil and India’s action was non-military, no civilian casualty, no military installation of Pakistan was targeted. So under all the requirements of UN charter India is lawfully justified for its action.
Pakistan action has no legal or moral justification, and it has the reason for the escalation of conflict

Pakistan had no reason to cross the international border, LOC and reach Indian Air space and target area near military installations because neither India sponsors Terrorism nor India violated Pakistan’s territorial integrity or sovereignty.
So when Pakistan attacked Indian civilian and military base it was an act of aggression and revenge against India because attacked military and civilian bases just because they wanted to show that they can also intrude but in fact they cant because there is no reason for them to do so as already explained earlier. When India did it had every reason to protect itself against new terrorist attack to be launched. So India's attack wasnt an act of revenge but an act to protect itself.

So in 21st century that too in just 19 years India has had more than 100 terrorist attacks and it has restrained itself and never attacked civilian or military bases of Pakistan.

I live in US and when I was in Virginia, there was a heavy wind storm that damaged houses and many trees fell down. Our mayor made an announcement to not go in those areas as they are damaged and can be dangerous(if many trees are fallen at once, it isn't a joke) It took them 7 days to clear those areas to make them safe again and then they allowed access.
