The University of The Gambia Socio-historical Fact-finders , embarked on a comparative study to two heritage sites: James Island (currently called Kunta Kinteh Island) in Albreda and Goree Island in Dakar to find out the level of commitment and successes in the promotion and preservation of these sites. Part 1 of the video specifically examines the ruins in Kunta Kinteh Island.
