- The Corsair H90 and H110 are high-end CPU coolers which are part of Corsair's Hydro Series line. Both the H90 and H110 coolers use an updated Asetek design that uses 140mm fans. The Corsair H90 has a radiator that can fit a single 140mm fan on one side while the Corsair H110 has a 280mm radiator that can hold two 140mm fans per side. One more fan can be added to the Corsair H90 while two more fans can be added to the Corsair H110 in a push-pull configuration.

Users can install both the H90 and H110 hydro series CPU coolers on Intel LGA115X, LGA1366 and LGA2011 sockets as well as AMD AM2, AM3, AM3+, FM1 and FM2 motherboards. The H90 and H110 all-in-one CPU coolers are backed with a 5-year warranty by Corsair, guaranteed to outlast your current system build.

You can install it anywhere it can be mounted. It was just arranged this way so the setup is the same when I compared all the heatsinks instead of giving one an advantage over the other (plus I wouldn't disrupt the airflow with the rear still exhausting as it is with the other coolers tested). Also, all liquid coolers were installed as intake and positioned to blow on the VRM area as it is crucial when overclocking on an X79 system with that much voltage.
You can connect it to the CPU header as long as you set it to full voltage (or disable fan control on that fan header) in the BIOS so the pump is running at full voltage. H100 pump has a dummy CPU plug and connects to a Molex connector for full power.
It is actually quite simple, the only complicated part depends on the case being installed on as space and clearance can be different.
Installing on an Asus M5A99x Evo R2 with an H110. Thanks!! I would have never figured this out on my own!
I believe so as that case supports both 15mm and 20mm spaced 140x2 fans. Measure the mounting holes on top if it can fit 20mm spacing as that is what Corsair H110 uses.
I don't have a Define R4 to verify unfortunately, although from the looks of it, the spacings are 15mm which will not fit for the H110 since Corsair used 20mm spacings. NZXT Kraken uses 15mm spacings though. I will post more later once I find a clearer picture of a Define R4, people don't seem to take much photos of the top :(
You just have to rotate it until it aligns. You have to align the mounting hole of the small plastic locking pieces inward (outward is for LGA 2011).
Correction: seven actually, there is also a 140mm mounting at the floor if your power supply isn't blocking it.
ok, replying to my reply. I checked some R4 photos. It seems to be almost the same body as the Arc Midi R2 except for the top panel which is unfortunate since the Arc Midi R2 has a left-offset 240/280mm mounting to support push/pull without adding too much height to the case. The Define R4 has 280mm radiator support on top according to the specs but it looks like 15mm spacing (so no H110, but X60 is fine) and it doesn't look like much space for push/pull, but definitely enough for push or pull.
NZXT Switch 810 Special Edition (Gunmetal color) with the updated 20mm or 15mm variable radiator spacing support.
The part where it exhausts to usually has the sticker/label portion and the inner-spokes. Some fans also have two arrows on the side that tell you what direction the fan blade rotates to and another arrow that tells you where it is directing air to.
Yeah, I needed it soon, so I just ordered the H100, and I'm using it now. Even if the H100i is better, the H100 is extremely much better than my previous cooler. But to be fair, the block had a lot of dust on it, so the air throughput was probably close to nothing :P Still, it's more silent now, and I will attempt overclocking my E8600.
Thank you for your reply =)
Most likely not without a Dremel. You can try a thicker 38mm H80i which uses 120mm fan/radiator mounting
You can fit six. Three on top, One in rear and two in front of the video cards/back of HDD bay.
Yes, LGA1150 CPUs have the same mounting hole dimension as LGA1155 and LGA1156.
Unfortunately, the answer is no to both. Only the liquid coolers and power supplies with an "i" in the name are Corsair Link V2 compatible.
NZXT Switch 810 SE with the updated top mounting that supports both variants of 280mm mounting hole distance.
@Peter Plactere, But that Heatsink clearley has no Thermal Paste applied!!!!! as this is a demonstration :-)
I don't think there is a 140mm fan mounting on the P280, only 120mm (rear and top) and 240mm (top) so you most likely cannot install the H90 and H110 without modding.
Thanks man u saved my life with the ring's clip trick :D
I don't have a 775 board to test for sure unfortunately but the plastic mounting kits included can only match the 1155 at their closest position so I don't think it is possible since LGA775 distance is 72mm compared to 75mm on the 1155/1156.
there's an arrow indicating the airflow in the fan itself.. look at the sides of the fan :)
Yes. I made an installation tutorial video showing this in the video description above so you can see how it is done.
Do you mean 550D? or 500R? I'm not sure about H110 compatibility as I haven't seen used them in person but they both have 140mm radiator/fan mounting support at the top for the H90.
Hi..I have 1 question..I have the H110 and i want to unscrew the screws after installing the H110,but the screws turning clockwise endlessly..What must i do to unscrew the screws around the plastic logo cover?
awesome video. Very clear and good installation.
Yes thermal paste is needed.
I over-tightened the h90 cpu screws now i can''t remove the pump, the plastic backplate does not hold silver screw hole things in place, they rotate around in the backplate...
Hey, HitTechLegion can you make a tutorial on how to install rad fans in Push configuration, and Pull configuration. Please
-Snapy
I have an Asus Crosshari V Formula-Z motherboard and I am having trouble installing the Corsair H110. I am using AMD3+ but the front brackets are completely off of the motherboard that the screws does not reach.
I had major problems with the back-plate not matching perfectly. My Mobo is compatible on paper but in the real world its out by 1 mm on 1 hole.
Thanks man
I lost the mounting “studs”. Anyone knows where I can get the replacements?
Thanks

Just a quick question, the h110's fan's power supply do not connect to the CPU header (not sure what its called) unlike the h100, am i right?
On the Corsair website, the LGA 775 isn't listed as supported for the H110 (or the H110i), do you know if it's possible to make this work with such a CPU?
Just one question.. Why am i replacing a steel backplate for a flexible PVC one? It just doesnt look as strong..
For R3 owners.. Im trying the H110 on a R3 because there is a 20mm spacing between the mounting holes for the 140mm fans :)
please help me i bought the h110 because it says its compatible with 1155 board but on the mounting bracket theres no 1155 hole please help
This may be a stupid question, but do the radiators come pre filled with liquid? I haven't seen any videos where people fill them after installation.
Yes they are already filled. You're not even supposed to be able to change it (the liquid)
How do you install the h110 into the carbide 500r when the 140mm screw holes are threaded?
If i wanted to put a 280mm radiator how/where would i drill mounting holes in?
Newbie Question: How do you determine whether a fan is oriented as intake vs exhaust (without powering the fan)? TY.
wait...fat part, skinny part....or...tall part, short part........I'm soooo confused...........
Nice video tho....complete and to the point!
Thanks!
I have dual fans for h90 but the OPT fan I have is running at 0 rpm.
Does the h110 has the same annoying pump noise as the h100/h100i?
How deep are the mounting holes on top of the radiator?
im beginning to build my own rig. will the h110 fit in a Silverston FT02 tower? please hlp
even if not officially supported, is it possible to mount it on 775 socket??
does the h 110 have a similar LED as they have at h 100i and does the corsair link also available?
What are the specifications of the fan of H90 cooler? RPM? CFM? DBA?
Thank you!
All on the second page of the review as well as on the Corsair website.
According to the manufacturer's manual, the coolers should throw air inside the case (intake). Is that correct? My i7 5820k is heating up more with this watercooler H110 than with my old seidon 120V!
+Leandro Barbosa No, fans should be exhaust. This is Corsair's way of getting slightly better (~2C) in benchmarks, but it also turns your case into a convection oven.
That said, fan direction would not be the issue here. You may have a bad seating of the block, a pump issue or some type of tube blockage. Your temps should be slightly better than the 120V.
+George Cella Got .. with my 120V the temperature was at 43 ° C. Now is 47ºC. Can it be the thermal paste of inferior quality? Or why I put it recently?
geht nicht um die komp. sondern um 140 oder 120 das ist ein 140 single fan cpu kühler
Hey Ron would the H110 fit inside a Thor V2 case, and does the H110 come with a resevoir.
Thanks.
Thx for the video. Can it fit Silverstone FT-01? It has 120mm fans mounting at the back not 140mm, is there any workaround for this? Thx
ey bro Corsair Hydro Series H110 280 working top CM STORM STRYKER? push pull
No cooler pasta needed?
Will the H110 fit in my Antec Three Hundred Two?
Hey, nice video, but what case is that? :)
Does the h110 fit in Cooler master HAF X? Plz answer i need to know.
I have the h110, getting ready to install it and the motherboard is too tight to fit both the fans and the radiator on. Does it need the 2 fans installed with the radiator or can I mount them on an available spot on the side?
2 years late but in case someone reads this in the future you don't need the two fans
hey two questions id really love to get answered, is this am3+ compatible and is the coolant in the system or does it need to be added ?? thank you so much
Benjamin Marley It is AM3+ compatible and comes pre-filled and ready for installation.
Hi great video, but please don't be lazy and edit out the mistakes you made. That cost me to damage the "fat and thin" plastic piece :( Other than that its great thanks...
PLEASE EDIT!!! THX!!!!
zocket 1150?
Would this fit in the top of a Cooler Master haf xm?
Yes.
Will h110 fit on nzxt phantom full tower case?
Does it fit in a normal switch 810? (the h110)
Does this kit fit on LGA 775 Wolf dale CPUs I don't feel confortable takeing the Motherboard out of the case to but a Backplate on does this kit need one I was looking at the H90 which many sites say that it does fit LGA 775 but does not say either it needs a back plate to function? I have problems with static and I would hate to loose my PC to static.
The backplate is necessary for LGA775 installation.
George Cella thanks
H110 is it supports on Cosmos II ?
please can someone tell me if this liquid cooler is compatible with the Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 CASE? PLEASE ANYONE?!!?
if i put these fans in pull configuration....what is the difference???
Pull typically yields very slightly higher temps. You are only looking at a couple of degrees difference. BUT, in some cases you may have a noise difference.
Yes
will this work on lga 1151?
yes apparently. I am doing it right now
I need to dissassemble the retention ring as I got the wrong screws on there but the screws just spin forever not coming loose, can someone please help?
Did you manage to get it removed? I have the same problem and I'm pretty much stuck with this annoying issue.
+wongoli wongo l did, had to use a bit more force than I would've liked though
Yeah I finally got it through. You could just stick 3 toothpicks in between where it clamps the screw and gently pull with the toothpicks still in it. Took me a whole hour just to get pass that one tiny problem.
i like ur video sir but wheres the water thing @@
I want to ask you about if i have a h110 and with 4 fans
So it's will be with 4 connector
How would i connect it ?
Cpu and sys 1 , 2 , 3
Like that ?
you would use fan splitters and connect it to CPU_FAN and CPU_OPTFAN
Oh thank you for that.
***** i installed mine yesterday and it said in the manual "connect the pump to any available 3 or 4 pin header on your motherboard" which i did then had the fans on CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT. hope this helps
Nah it will help No problem about that
Cause i love to read all of the pepper when i buy something...
I may buy H110 I don't know yet maybe I'm going with full system water cooling
:D
do it fitt in corair 500d mid tower?? :)
h110 is compatibility 500r :)
u do this without thermal compound?
Kakajan Begiev 18:30
Is a option, not a must have.
You would be stupid not to. The Corsair water pumps come with thermal compound already installed to it.
Sucks when you pay 110 euro for a cooling system and it turns out the fans rattle because their shitty design. Thanks corsair!
those nails....
Is it compatible with nzxt phantom 410?
NZXT lists the Kraken X40 as being fully compatible, the X60 as requiring mounting holes to be drilled.
***** go away with ur ref link!
