Christ man. You can't harp on semi in ear earbuds not sounding as good as in ear earbuds. It's obvious that in ear ear buds will always sound better. But for those of us who can't wear in ear earbuds with that plugged feeling just want to know if they are good for SEMI In ear buds. Apples to apples comparison. I've got the buds Live now as I can't wear in ear style. Not even one single mention as how they compare to the beans? All I got from this review was you whining about how they're not as good as in ear earbuds.....ffs
I'm impressed with the sound quality for a wirelesss open earbuds the soundstage is amazing. My setup is Pixel 8, enabled spatial audio, enabled LE audio, EQ is dynamic setting but just a bit customized, enabled "adjust to fit" setting. Honestly this pair ruined my other wireless earbuds experience and I begin to dislike in-ears now because of it. If you have fit problems, you can try to angle the blade/stem towards your mouth if not higher. I got this for $70 after trade-in so it's an absolute steal. 10/10 for me
The noise cancelling is cool. The reason u buy this is to listen to your surroundings. The noise cancellation is basically to drown out engine noise, vehicles, etc. it’s not dumb dude
I just bought them 1. U do feel the noise cancelation. Obviously, if u are in a really noisy environment, u will hear the noise from the outside, but it does work some... 2. The sound is loud more louder, and better than the 2 and 2 pro. 3. The 360 sounds better than expected and gives a boost sound at the same time. 4. The seamless switch works flawlessly. I love them they feel premium and will get the pro 3 also because if i love this one.. the pros will be perfect in every way and more comfortable.
I think companies give the option of noise cancelling on an open earbud as to give it a balance that in-earbuds have. (Although, i don't think they're there yet to make it effective.)
I bought a pair of samsung galaxy buds over 2 years ago and they still work perfectly fine ...i also bought 2 or 3 apple earbuds in the same time frame and one ear stop working with each...i dont mind copying the style biggest i prefer the fit of apple...but samsung is much better to me with quality in my personal experiences
I get wht u mean but we need something different, I love my buds but jamming those buds hurts after a while. Ill try and see but can we not have something comfortable. So far everyone loves them can we not try something new
Honestly i don't have anything against stem style earbuds, i own two pairs. I feel like it's unacceptable when samsung pulls this b.s🤬... Samsung spent time and money mocking apple for years and trying to form their own identity in the process, and they did, just to cave in now is laziness in my book. It's like if they put a iphone 10 style notch on their phones when that was the trend. We could count on samsung to bring something different to the table but now they got lazy with almost NO real competition in the u.s on the android side of things. There are many more amazing true wireless earbuds stem style or otherwise that are way cheaper than these. P.s I'm a samsung galaxy user, phone and earbuds as my main devices.
I'm rocking the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 and nothing beats them. I have a Galaxy S23+ and these buds could be perfect but without multipoint connectivity I'm not buying.
I'm very down on Samsung currently since the Fold 6 didn't change enough from the Fold 5 (which barely changed anything from the Fold 4 which is my current device) I honestly love these, they are so comfortable to wear all day, sound amazing with just aac, have really great noise cancelling mics (people can't tell I'm outside when I'm on calls), the controls are very intuitive vs many others that I tried, and the battey life has been amazing. AAC vs HQ codec doesn't make a difference in youtube music or when watching videos, or when listening to podcasts so it's not a huge deal for me. It might make a difference in Tidal or audiophile apps. The price is the only really bad aspect but there's going to be deals for them, or you can get them used so waiting is a great option, and Apple isn't charing less for airpods so 🤷🏻
Good earbuds with some important cons... Don't fit well, perhaps need foam tips. Shame not to have multipoint connection (different brands/ecosystems).
Idk why Samsung does this thing where they have features on some products and not others, & sometimes they'll say features are new when they aren't they were just removed from something &put back. (E.g. voice detect & 360 audio were available on the 1st Buds pro)
I have the Buds3Pro, and I will say I am disappointed. The fit and finish, the ambient/ANC, and lack of support from their latest flagship (s24 Ultra) is all sub-par. There are no new icons when interacting on the phone, and they just seem less than... Hopefully, updates will solve these problems, but they never should have been released with these issues.
The Bluetooth connection on my pair is extremely poor. When connected to my Pixel 7, the connection breaks just by turning my head. I've started the return process.
they are great. For me they fit perfectly, and the noise cancelling IS noticable. U legit just sound like a hater, or someone wanting to stir up some debate.
I hate when reviewers complain that you can't use all the features on any device it's called a ECOSYSTEM and it's hard to have one when you play nice with everyone smh. Y'all need to get over it I understand why apple and samsung do it as a consumer, so you gonna have to live with it as reviewers!
Hi..Good Morning...I'm looking to upgrade from a Wired bluetooth headset to wireless, open design classic type, not the silicon in ear plugs......need it only for taking calls in my office.......so just one preference that is good microphone quality.....please suggest between JBL Tune Flex and Apple airpods(4, as other generation are not selling now).....i use a samsung phone A 54......Thanks bro
Hi man! Everytime I turn on the ANC, I listen like a "shhh" sound on this earphones, would that be normal because of the ANC function? Of course that this sound is very low.
These having ip57 is a pleasant surprise. Definitely didn't see that coming. Battery life and charging speeds are a head scratcher. (Especially given they don't have a stat on fast charging.) Yeah, I'd say these are a bit overpriced. I thought they'd be more in the 80$ range. I could only really imagine getting these at their full price if i already had the newest Samsung flagship phone and needed an earbud with really good mic quality.

I don't think anyone buys this style of earbud thinking they will be top tier for sound quality. I buy this style of earbud for everyday activities where I want good sound quality, but I'm not looking for audiophile levels of detail. I'll watch youtube videos, take phone calls, etc. I leave my movie watching for my bigscreen TV in my living room.
Briliant review. In my view, I'd much prefer getting a normal set of buds with silicone tips and putting just a single earbud in one of my ears and hearing my surroundings through the other ear when I need to, rather than get a set of open earbuds which take a beating in sound quality and anc. I personally use the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay EX.
@Fastboy108 . While the sound quality may be diminished to a moderate level when using a single earbud, the option to elevate it to an optimal level by utilizing both earbuds is preferable to the consistent, yet mediocre, sound quality provided by open-ear earbuds.
Hopefully, the sound quality is better on my S24U as he was talking of Samsung seamless codec. Friend of mine was buying z flip 6, and I got these for £70. Would have been £40 if I did trade in. Waiting on mine to be delivered.
