Giordano's is good but it’s more for tourists. If you want true authentic Chicago food here’s where to go. I don’t know how long you’re in town for but check these places out. Italian beef - Johnnie’s Beef - 7500 W North Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707 ( be sure to get it dipped with hot peppers. Don’t get it dry ) Pizza - order a thin crust cause chicagoians don’t eat deep dish. Go to a place called Italian Fiesta and order regular thin crust Hot dog - Maxwell(order it Chicago style with everything on it) Also you can get a good pizza puff from Maxwell as well. It’s like a hot pocket but 10’s better Also you can go to Portillos for a good polish(Chicago style)
