Little Tommy saved up money to buy his first Warhammer model, but after learning, it was only 44 mm He decided to improve it with some galvanized, steel rod, and eco-friendly citadel paint.
Looks pretty good I’m not sure if it could be improved by using some kind of jig to make the bends angles more sharply defined or maybe just using smaller wire or bigger wire less branches but in all it looks way better than I would’ve believed if you’d described the process to me
I did almost exactly this for Njal storm-caller. Painted light blue with white intensity at the touch points. Turned out sic. He was my hero all 9th edition. Cire, your tutorials are always awesome. I love all the work you have done with your cavalry.
You can get the wire too go around the Helm or Weapon without having to Pin it , especially If you use a thinner Grade of wire . Which I find a lot easier and more effective .
By not touching the mini, that's how. This is obviously intended for display figurines, that will sit on a shelf once it's done. You have to be mad to do something like this for a tabletop mini that's constantly touched and moved around. That being said I only paint for display purposes and this is an amazing idea with even more amazing results.
@@axelcc2 There are metal minis for tabletop. My guess as to how you'd make something like this tabletop ready is to use a good quality primer and sealer, as well as having a decent base or other point to grab away from the lightning.
These lighting bolts look like they would be perfect for tinkering with any machine I’ve come across
Why don't you just use your nose?
@@chiliboy06 what? That’s ridiculous I’ve never heard of such a thing

Am I the only only one that heard " galvanized steel" and thought about those over the top room/home renovation videos?
