I took out the thermostat and with the engine cold I poured the whole thing in it, then I put the coolant in, then I let it idle for 20 min, then I drove around for another 20, worked perfect. It's still in there, truck is running smooth . Can't believe it . Thanks for the video .
Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me
@Tristian Jaden I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Also.. Not rambling.. I for one appreciated the excess info.. The things you spoke on are exactly what I needed to know and see. The more talking the more confidence one has. So in otherwords great teacher.
FYI, on some cars running the engine without a thermostat (minute: 7:55) actually makes the engine run hotter, because the water moves too quickly through the radiator and doesn't get time to cool. I had a car like that once, a big old 8 cyl. and it needed the thermostat to be in place. I tested this several times because I just couldn't believe it at the time...This guy makes great videos for us "mechanics" :)
My chevy s10 4.3 v6 vortec blew a head gasket on a count the intake gasket and a bad temp. Sensor. The reason why I didn't catch it overheating is bc the temp. Sensor wasn't working peoperly. Now my truck shoot out water exactly how this vehicle in this video. My question is? The reason why you did it this way instead of the direction is bc the air would have pushed out the blue devil?
Hey you're a great guy helping people out that can't afford expensive repairs that those crook mechanics try to hit us poor people with thanks for your service!.
I know this vidoe is kind of old but do you happen to know if this missing ever stopped I did this treatment yesterday it’s not running hot or mixing anymore but its still missing any suggestions?
Try changing the plugs.. What kind of trouble codes are you getting… sometimes if the vehicle runs really hot spark plugs could foul out.. just a consideration? Good luck, Let me know what kind of trouble code you have
@@HayesMobileAutoRepair missing in cylinder 2 and 3 that’s what code came up but I’ve experimented and I think the blue devil might have worked and I just need to change my one or two or my coils do you happen to know if the vehicle in this video ever stopped missing?
@@deaneybwoy4332 yes it definitely ran better but still missed a little bit.. did drive to California the same week and back home to Mississippi so it was running better and it didn’t overheat.. called me Maybe two weeks later and said thanks so I guess everything went well
Did you have a misfire before the vehicle overheated… I would suspect a spark plug before I would suspect a coil in this situation.. even though Fords have a high value weight on coil packs. It’s just more likely a spark plug failed since you overheated at the same time when you started getting the miss, correct?
He didn't follow instructions it says that you need to take a full minute to pour the blue devil in and you are supposed to pour it in as the engine is idling, so if it doesn't work it's because he can't read.
By all means read the directions! But this did work. He drove it from Jackson Mississippi to California and no problems.. even text me to say thank you.. but yes he is correct do a slow pour.
I wish I had a mechanic like you.
Good ppl willing to help in any condition. Thank you for this video

I already removed it, it was quite a shot but it came out and the truth is, a lot of patience is required translation

what kind of vehicle? scratching my head lol
at idle or hiway speeds, what about the cooling fans? interesting :)
I have a 2004 Ford Focus 2.0 how do I do that one boss man? It’s Not mixing oil & water yet it slightly over heat after 30 min Drive
Same way. Remove Thermostat, Flush, add blue devil when it’s cold, let it run for about an hour.. That’s it
You should never stop and add water to an overheating car. You’re never supposed to remove the radiator cap while the engine is warm.
Read the instructions!
You have to pour the stuff slower- it takes a full minute to pour
thanks correct
And it needs to be running why your pouring it
