Those specific characters were annoying for a time, rapid Toga still kind of annoying but not too bad compared to Hawks, but aren't as bad now. And anyway, they're inclusion didn't ruin the game Besides, those characters can't 2 shot you with their beta at level 1, and they don't have an alpha that aimbots you so you can't escape it.

I am 100% down for that. One taunted me in a 1v1 in solos with Froppy. Then one emoted both his team on trios ranked when I was Tech Shoto after 1v3 hurt them all badly and caused them all to run. The only reason I couldn't K.O. them all was because I got 3rd partied by someone else who was hiding, and they wanted to chase. That team took advantage of that and ended up winning.
There's actually pretty decent counters for him kendo, afo, overhaul can be decent so can kirishima, purple shoto, both dabis, momo, twice and cementoss most of the time I struggle to fight these guys as hawks and this is almost half the cast 🤣
I was caught between two hawks just aiming for me cuz they both wanted to down me and when I tell you it’s nothing you can do if two hawks attack you he needs a NERF I haven’t played in about 2 weeks
I was thinking about the alpha. Don't you think auto aiming should be saved for flight mode, or maybe if you are marked by their gamma. Not just a constant spray and pray, I never get a chance to hide and heal anymore.
@@nikohakubi8814 I've found both red Deku and red Dabi irritating at times as well. But they don't have the escape capacity or range that Hawkes gets. Characters with no movement are almost guaranteed to be hunted to the ends of the map. Although I do hate it when a red Deku just plummets while I'm healing and decimates my health bar.

@astroblitz9164 you just named 2 people that have mobility moves. It may not be as prominent as flight but they both have escape options that aren't limited to just the ground. They still do more dmg then hawks does. Those 2 you just named can also counter hawks pretty easily.

@r.c.3813 I almost forgot about denki. He's awesome against hawks. But I don't get it. I know that hawks is who finishes you but his teammates are probably the ones doing the most damage to you. Like the new toga skill set scares me more than hawks. And I'm in training right now and at level 9 hawks beta can't kill a stationary dabi cause he gets knocked down after the 3rd hit. I'm betting it's just a culmination of multiple things but because hawks is the newest issue that's what the blame is getting placed on. Like I said tho he might be finishing you but I bet anything his teammates are doing most of the damage. Cause hawks dmg numbers aren't crazy. Against a red dabi I just 3 hit him with a max level beta and he still has just under half his health. And that's connecting the beta 3 times and him not moving.
@@theravenking1571 I don't play red dabi idk what his hp is i was playing either new toga because I really love using her moveset and i'm trying to learn how to play her well, momo who is my support main or denki who is my red main. i'm guessing i was playing toga because she has the lowest hp i think out of these 3 but that hawks beta hit me 3 times in row and i died and as far as i'm aware there was nothing else that could hurt me because i was playing solo's and i was in a erea with only hawks close by and beta killed pretty much 1 shot me. that beta is a problem come on he shouldn't be allowed to do that much damage for just landing beta 3 times in a row that's not even that hard i did it a few times myself after transforming into hawks and i don't even play him. i do think you need to hit a few alpha's without strength power up from the skill card but still it's not like it's hard with hawk to hit a few alpha's and he's even worst when someone does know how to fully utilize him because your just not gone hit him at least that's how it feels to me. i wouldn't say i'm crazy good in the game but it feels unfair if your almost dead from like 3 beta's with most characters and i think some just die if the hawks is strength buffed and you play as a low hp character
I’ve actually had a ton of luck countering hawks with Tech Shoto. Hitting the alpha not only can knock him out of the sky but if he betas into you and hits the ice it interrupts him by freezing him. The fire pillars also keep him from comboing it if you preemptively toss them out and hang around them.
I just play kendo to counter hawks but even then it’s a struggle cause bro can just fly away or their team just jumps me when my guard is down to beta 😭

I don't understand how people are getting this number it's hard asf to land 3 hits in a row and my game don't even let me do it I've tried I can hit the beta once activate free flight turn camera instantly get another hit but whenever I go for another I'm stuck in animation from the last hit and my opponent can roll by that time the only way you can possible get hit that much is if you're panic rolling
^this one, his beta when used consecutively will turn on a dime back in the direction you press as long as your sensitivity is high enough to spin the camera back to where you wanna go. I don't even own Hawks and I can do it as a lvl 1 toga for a free 1 shot
I feel like this happens with every new character if he's not nerfed by next season when new characters are released then I'll see it as a problem but that's always what they do the newest character is always op I thinks it's been like that since aizawa or at least twice and they get nerfed like everytime this is also the shortest season if I'm correct that almost definitely has a direct effect on feedback as well as updates
The only counters I have found is kendo shield, ibara hawks will hit you, but you also hit him with your gamma and overhaul to hit Hawks with your special action
Ive actually put some thought into the hawks problem, and my ideal nerf for him rn isnt the beta dmg. But make it so he can only attack in the direction hawks is facing. I think that makes it so he is still rewarding, but easier to dodge. Or this idea could be dumb and i jumped down a bad rabbithole
I was thinking to change it to where the hit after the initial hit becomes a knock back instead of another stun. That will give you a chance to disengage. It's the stuns that's the biggest issue.

I’m only playing characters and ranked that can withstand the Hawks beta overhaul because your average hawks just charges at you with beta Dabi because even if I get hit gamma will save me
This is my opinion, hawks isn't that bad. Yes he is one of my mains, but when I don't play him, which is quite a lot of the time since I lean on sting dance toga more, he's not much of a problem when fighting him. Once you stop him mid beta (by attacking him) he's not that much of a problem, but that's just my opinion. Also I'm not a good player, I haven't even reached Expert yet.

There is a problem in ranked matches there are some guys who are avoiding or giving alt+f4 and avoiding falling with the bad people both in US and ASIA I fell with the same guys always against and they seem to be abusing it and falling even with the option to remove the member not active they keep abusing it to rank up fast while the other people have to respect the rules they don't respect it. Yes! They just fall with the same guys several times in a row in the rank and no, they are not inviting them to play, just abusing alt+f4. THE WORST PART IS THAT THEY ARE STILL MAKING FUN OF YOU WHEN THEY DO THIS!
Funny thing is i think hawks isnt really a big problem for me, just another annoying character thats all, the only people that make it hard are ace hawks players and even then it wasnt that bad. Countering hawks beta is possible but hard, i have been countered and have countered other hawks players

100% not a skill issue it's just your character is a coward. Of course he can dodge his gamma can go off before hawks even land it and do damage. Try playing strike shigaraki, Strike shoto, and yellow deku and you'll see the problem. Getting hit with a damage that does 280+ damage is a skill issue sure. By that logic dying to strike dabi lvl 9 while using froppy is a skill issue, losing to full bullet while using tech dabi is a skill issue.

@ I don’t know much about the glitch. The beta is strong but it isn’t bad and can be avoided. Could it be tweaked? Sure but not gutted and the camera cannot be turned fast enough most times unless you’re playing on a low FPS type sensitivity. Not everyone in the game plays like that. Gonna stand by it, only people that hate on Hawks are people that don’t own the character. Overhaul and Mirio were also crazy. Toga was ridiculous for the longest time. I haven’t encountered purple toga in a while so I can’t even say how broken she is because she may have been edited by now.

@ I don’t know what game you playing then but I have to ask, do you actually have Hawks? I’ve been playing the same game. You do need high sens unless you’re on PC. I run default settings and it is impossible to do it as fast as the Hawks you guys have encountered with default sensitivity. Literally impossible; you can do it just not remotely as fast with more than enough time for your opponents to dodge. Toga also had more mobility than some rapids with insane cooldowns and basically being unstoppable while in her stabbing skill which would also knock you out of any skill you attempted or were using. Mirio had a glitch regarding his Alpha though I can’t say I’ve encountered it myself just heard complaints, and would be too slippery to bother chasing. Not sure why no one talking about the damage Present Mic dishes out. People still play Overhaul. Only person that really got hurt after a nerf was AFO and that character is basically garbage now.
@hitokirij i dont, i play on pc, i have seen various videos of ps players getting wrecked by hawks hitting the betas Toga yea, its like i said, she has those "insane" cooldowns bc she gets special treatment, not like afo (toga can use all her skills, afo after changing quirks doesnt) Mirio the only problem i remember is that u were unable to hit his alphas normally, the only way was charging up the alpha Overhaul is still used, yea, but since the glitch with the gamma has been fixed, u barely encounter any overhaul now And afo was fine, the nerf was undeserved lol Oh and mic yea, he deals a lot of dmg but out of the 3 chars, he's the most normal one and tbh i dont complain, he's a strike and its in the role of dealing dmg
I’ve put a whole $1,000 plus into the game and I really don’t care what they do now, I quit nothing will bring me back to his shitty money hole and I’ve been playing since launch. The game is RAPIDLY dying due to the rapid meta and I don’t see why over half the models are imported, the map updates are minuscule, the step up banner is always free or the upcoming free characters, but the small dev team has no time to do any updates on the game in two months it’s sad. This game is just a cash grab before the anime ends soon. I love this game with its semi-complex gameplay/teamwork but have to spend $300-$400 per season to get the characters not even a skill set per season. This gasha system has to change, the game was already dying without any balance updates. It’s baffling that they managed to Thanos snap more than half your remaining player base with just a single damn bird.
For me personally i think hawks Beta should be nerf where he need hit you all his beta to knock out shields fully and his beta should be harder to hit on people or make his beta faster where he more he speed in his beta he get faster and harder hit people while havjng less damage on 2 or 3rd hit

First it's a free to play game. So us buyin the one discounted pack in the store isn't keeping nobodies lights on lmao. Second they don't listen to us in America but they do listen to JP players but when a character just came out they aren't gonna nerf them while they are still the primary character on the banner. He'll get toned down when the next band hits but for every person complaining about hawks there is 5 more hawks players between the 8 teams in the lobby so not everybody can hate him and play him at the same time. Hawks Beta during flight should always knockdown so it can’t combo, change the damage to 120 at lvl9. And he’s still top 3

I am 100% down for that. One taunted me in a 1v1 in solos with Froppy. Then one emoted both his team on trios ranked when I was Tech Shoto after 1v3 hurt them all badly and caused them all to run. The only reason I couldn't K.O. them all was because I got 3rd partied by someone else who was hiding, and they wanted to chase. That team took advantage of that and ended up winning.

There's actually pretty decent counters for him kendo, afo, overhaul can be decent so can kirishima, purple shoto, both dabis, momo, twice and cementoss most of the time I struggle to fight these guys as hawks and this is almost half the cast 🤣
I was caught between two hawks just aiming for me cuz they both wanted to down me and when I tell you it’s nothing you can do if two hawks attack you he needs a NERF I haven’t played in about 2 weeks
I was thinking about the alpha. Don't you think auto aiming should be saved for flight mode, or maybe if you are marked by their gamma. Not just a constant spray and pray, I never get a chance to hide and heal anymore.
Have you ever been slammed by a red deku from full health and maybe 20-30 off a shield. Thats just 1 character 1 tapping you.
@@nikohakubi8814 I've found both red Deku and red Dabi irritating at times as well. But they don't have the escape capacity or range that Hawkes gets. Characters with no movement are almost guaranteed to be hunted to the ends of the map. Although I do hate it when a red Deku just plummets while I'm healing and decimates my health bar.

@astroblitz9164 you just named 2 people that have mobility moves. It may not be as prominent as flight but they both have escape options that aren't limited to just the ground. They still do more dmg then hawks does. Those 2 you just named can also counter hawks pretty easily.

@r.c.3813 I almost forgot about denki. He's awesome against hawks. But I don't get it. I know that hawks is who finishes you but his teammates are probably the ones doing the most damage to you. Like the new toga skill set scares me more than hawks. And I'm in training right now and at level 9 hawks beta can't kill a stationary dabi cause he gets knocked down after the 3rd hit. I'm betting it's just a culmination of multiple things but because hawks is the newest issue that's what the blame is getting placed on. Like I said tho he might be finishing you but I bet anything his teammates are doing most of the damage. Cause hawks dmg numbers aren't crazy. Against a red dabi I just 3 hit him with a max level beta and he still has just under half his health. And that's connecting the beta 3 times and him not moving.
@@theravenking1571 I don't play red dabi idk what his hp is i was playing either new toga because I really love using her moveset and i'm trying to learn how to play her well, momo who is my support main or denki who is my red main. i'm guessing i was playing toga because she has the lowest hp i think out of these 3 but that hawks beta hit me 3 times in row and i died and as far as i'm aware there was nothing else that could hurt me because i was playing solo's and i was in a erea with only hawks close by and beta killed pretty much 1 shot me. that beta is a problem come on he shouldn't be allowed to do that much damage for just landing beta 3 times in a row that's not even that hard i did it a few times myself after transforming into hawks and i don't even play him. i do think you need to hit a few alpha's without strength power up from the skill card but still it's not like it's hard with hawk to hit a few alpha's and he's even worst when someone does know how to fully utilize him because your just not gone hit him at least that's how it feels to me. i wouldn't say i'm crazy good in the game but it feels unfair if your almost dead from like 3 beta's with most characters and i think some just die if the hawks is strength buffed and you play as a low hp character

I’ve actually had a ton of luck countering hawks with Tech Shoto. Hitting the alpha not only can knock him out of the sky but if he betas into you and hits the ice it interrupts him by freezing him. The fire pillars also keep him from comboing it if you preemptively toss them out and hang around them.

I don't understand how people are getting this number it's hard asf to land 3 hits in a row and my game don't even let me do it I've tried I can hit the beta once activate free flight turn camera instantly get another hit but whenever I go for another I'm stuck in animation from the last hit and my opponent can roll by that time the only way you can possible get hit that much is if you're panic rolling

^this one, his beta when used consecutively will turn on a dime back in the direction you press as long as your sensitivity is high enough to spin the camera back to where you wanna go. I don't even own Hawks and I can do it as a lvl 1 toga for a free 1 shot

I feel like this happens with every new character if he's not nerfed by next season when new characters are released then I'll see it as a problem but that's always what they do the newest character is always op I thinks it's been like that since aizawa or at least twice and they get nerfed like everytime this is also the shortest season if I'm correct that almost definitely has a direct effect on feedback as well as updates
The only counters I have found is kendo shield, ibara hawks will hit you, but you also hit him with your gamma and overhaul to hit Hawks with your special action
I am also one of those who stopped playing the game after this season and I played this game so often it’s actually sad to me

Ive actually put some thought into the hawks problem, and my ideal nerf for him rn isnt the beta dmg. But make it so he can only attack in the direction hawks is facing.
I think that makes it so he is still rewarding, but easier to dodge. Or this idea could be dumb and i jumped down a bad rabbithole
I was thinking to change it to where the hit after the initial hit becomes a knock back instead of another stun.
That will give you a chance to disengage. It's the stuns that's the biggest issue.

This is my opinion, hawks isn't that bad. Yes he is one of my mains, but when I don't play him, which is quite a lot of the time since I lean on sting dance toga more, he's not much of a problem when fighting him. Once you stop him mid beta (by attacking him) he's not that much of a problem, but that's just my opinion. Also I'm not a good player, I haven't even reached Expert yet.

There is a problem in ranked matches there are some guys who are avoiding or giving alt+f4 and avoiding falling with the bad people both in US and ASIA I fell with the same guys always against and they seem to be abusing it and falling even with the option to remove the member not active they keep abusing it to rank up fast while the other people have to respect the rules they don't respect it. Yes! They just fall with the same guys several times in a row in the rank and no, they are not inviting them to play, just abusing alt+f4. THE WORST PART IS THAT THEY ARE STILL MAKING FUN OF YOU WHEN THEY DO THIS!

100% not a skill issue it's just your character is a coward. Of course he can dodge his gamma can go off before hawks even land it and do damage. Try playing strike shigaraki, Strike shoto, and yellow deku and you'll see the problem. Getting hit with a damage that does 280+ damage is a skill issue sure. By that logic dying to strike dabi lvl 9 while using froppy is a skill issue, losing to full bullet while using tech dabi is a skill issue.

Then there's the gamma spam and also gamma glitch he has where he can spam it without any cooldown
And the alpha is not a big issue, but it is still really annoying

@ I don’t know much about the glitch. The beta is strong but it isn’t bad and can be avoided. Could it be tweaked? Sure but not gutted and the camera cannot be turned fast enough most times unless you’re playing on a low FPS type sensitivity.
Not everyone in the game plays like that. Gonna stand by it, only people that hate on Hawks are people that don’t own the character. Overhaul and Mirio were also crazy. Toga was ridiculous for the longest time. I haven’t encountered purple toga in a while so I can’t even say how broken she is because she may have been edited by now.

Mirio when he came out, he was fine tbh, when u get used to time the roll in his beta, he isnt really a threat unless u face a good Mirio main
Tech toga the only nerf she needed was not being able to spam skills with blood, bc in the last 2 seasons purple toga mains were spamming their gamma and landing betas when close enough
And Overhaul his only problem was the glitch he had last season, got patched and no one plays him now
@ I don’t know what game you playing then but I have to ask, do you actually have Hawks? I’ve been playing the same game. You do need high sens unless you’re on PC. I run default settings and it is impossible to do it as fast as the Hawks you guys have encountered with default sensitivity. Literally impossible; you can do it just not remotely as fast with more than enough time for your opponents to dodge. Toga also had more mobility than some rapids with insane cooldowns and basically being unstoppable while in her stabbing skill which would also knock you out of any skill you attempted or were using. Mirio had a glitch regarding his Alpha though I can’t say I’ve encountered it myself just heard complaints, and would be too slippery to bother chasing.

People still play Overhaul. Only person that really got hurt after a nerf was AFO and that character is basically garbage now.

Toga yea, its like i said, she has those "insane" cooldowns bc she gets special treatment, not like afo (toga can use all her skills, afo after changing quirks doesnt)
Mirio the only problem i remember is that u were unable to hit his alphas normally, the only way was charging up the alpha
Overhaul is still used, yea, but since the glitch with the gamma has been fixed, u barely encounter any overhaul now
And afo was fine, the nerf was undeserved lol
Oh and mic yea, he deals a lot of dmg but out of the 3 chars, he's the most normal one and tbh i dont complain, he's a strike and its in the role of dealing dmg
I’ve put a whole $1,000 plus into the game and I really don’t care what they do now, I quit nothing will bring me back to his shitty money hole and I’ve been playing since launch. The game is RAPIDLY dying due to the rapid meta and I don’t see why over half the models are imported, the map updates are minuscule, the step up banner is always free or the upcoming free characters, but the small dev team has no time to do any updates on the game in two months it’s sad. This game is just a cash grab before the anime ends soon. I love this game with its semi-complex gameplay/teamwork but have to spend $300-$400 per season to get the characters not even a skill set per season. This gasha system has to change, the game was already dying without any balance updates. It’s baffling that they managed to Thanos snap more than half your remaining player base with just a single damn bird.

Second they don't listen to us in America but they do listen to JP players but when a character just came out they aren't gonna nerf them while they are still the primary character on the banner. He'll get toned down when the next band hits but for every person complaining about hawks there is 5 more hawks players between the 8 teams in the lobby so not everybody can hate him and play him at the same time. There is literally one on every team. And hawks isn't how ppl reach ACE. It's server changes that let ppl get repeat bot lobbies for free wins toward their ranked progress. It's easy to do. It's boring and I'd rather be able to say I earned mine when I get it so I'm only pro 3 but I'm getting there. Watch nejerei is gonna be an issue when she first comes out and every team will have one it's not strange. It's the newest best option.

Hawks only tactic is spray and pray and swoop 😂 have you noticed that most of the characters that can get away can't shoot? Only ones that shoot far are hawks toga and twice 😂 while out of all the rapids hawks has the best movement and best shots
