Watching this makes me teary. The tenacity of spirit & will of the people of China in moments of adversities or challenges. The people of China are a source of inspiration & aspiration. It is the spirit of united strength of patriotism & love for its people & motherland China. It is the goodness that gives to a society, neighbourhood or country its beauty, peace & harmony.
Living in America, it is shocking to compare the government response to natural disasters in America and in China. In America, evacuated disaster victims rely predominantly on the kindness of fellow citizens to provide housing, clothes, and food. Meanwhile, the natural disaster victims in China rely predominantly on government support for shelter, clothing, and food. Then again, it is not so shocking because Americans rely on crowdfunding to pay off medical debt - because we don’t have universal healthcare.
That's why your government don't want you to visit and see the reality in China that good governance no matter the system works better. That's what governments are suppose to do. Work for the people. Your government failed.

Agriculture Bank of China ABC is one of the biggest banks in the world. This week, ABC set up a make shift bank inside a temporary tent. Residents can deposit and withdraw their monies here. The emergency services are assisting the local residents to move some of their personal belongings from the collapsed dwellings to the tents and prefabricated housing. The priority now is rescue, save lives, medical assistance, food, water and shelter. The emergency rescue in the first seven days are robust. Much remains to be done this week.
Whether it is Xizang (Tibet) it is the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. From what I see is many people were apart of and involved in this Disaster Relief effort. It takes courage, coordination, determination and action. Sending best wishes to the people of Xizang and China for your united effort.
