This exact thing happened to me two years ago. I had a really bad UTI so I went to the doctor and got medicine for it. I took all the medicine as prescribed and was feeling a bit better. Then I started to feel pains in my stomach and what I had assumed was an ovarian ulcer or something, which I was told nothing could be done about but waiting it out. But after a few days it had spread into my lower back and I legitimately felt like I was dying, “fading away” I think was the term I used. Went to the ER hesitantly because I thought I was likely overreacting. Ended up having 101 degree fever and they said they were glad I came. Long story short, the medicine for my UTI wasn’t strong enough and it spread into my kidneys, and because I had waited a few days before getting it checked out, I was already septic. There were a bunch of other complications, like I was actually on a mini vacation and had only packed a certain day supply of my medications, but everything turned out fine after about a week in the hospital. Super scary experience, but the nurses and doctors were all super caring and helpful. Wonderful roleplay as always ☺️

FINALLY, a medical roleplay where I'm not the healthiest person alive, like in most other ASMR medical roleplays! I really loved this emergency vibes while you stayed so calm, it was entertaining and relaxing at the same time. Especially as someone who is suffering from frequent bladder infections since the age of 20, I was also very interested in this. Luckily I never had a Sepsis, but I'm always a little concerned and I kinda liked this imaginative roleplay of the worst case in combination with your caring and calming portrayal of a nurse. Feels kind of funny watching this while laying in the hospital, went to the ER a few days ago and it was definetely not as relaxing as this, thank you for making me feel relaxed in this stressful time
At 38wks pregnant, went to the hospital at 3am with extreme pain. The two nurses could care less, in fact, we are in a lawsuit against the hospital because when a doctor finally went to my bedroom (9am), my baby Bruno had already die. I was having a placental abruption in which I lost 3L of blood and went to a coma for 3 days. Im ok (im great, actually), just wanted to say that the feel and the calmness specifically when you start to introduce yourself, feels so good... that’s exactly what I was thinking it would happen the day that I gave birth and feel like at least this way Im heard and taking care as a first timer

If the first nurse/doctor I had seen was as thorough as you , I wouldn't had worsened by the next day. My daughter took me a different hospital. The doctor knew asap . I’m so used to the intro “hello lovely, how are you?…good.” That I was thrown by the “alright” instead of “good” 🤣🤣 shows how much I’ve gotten used to watching your videos.
Wish the ER workers here were as nice as this! I called in late October a few hours after I fell at work and was still in pain hours after. Was told to take painkillers and call my GP the next morning. So I did, was referred to the hospital radiology 'just in case'... turned out I walked around an entire day with a FRACTURED HIP. 🤯 I'm still recovering now and there's no serious damage done as of now after my surgery (thank GOD!), but oh boy do I want to see the face of the person turning me down on the phone that day. 🤣 Anyways - lovely roleplay! Felt really relaxed. 😌

I came in with the exact symptoms in September when I was visiting my boyfriend in England for the first time: severe bladder and kidney infection plus a cyst in the ovaries. I felt so bad bc I kept screaming and fainting in the a&e - so ironic that you make a video with similar symptoms now 😅

You have always been my favorite asmrist, but you couldn't possibly know how much you've helped me over the past few days. I was very badly misdiagnosed with a pulled back muscle - In reality it is advanced bone cancer. I'm currently in hospital trying to fight this, and am, frankly, terrified. It may sound silly, but your voice, warmth and kindness have been the only things able to soothe me through this. There is no true way I can thank you for even a moment's peace at a time like this, but I had to try. Bless you, dear lady.

I’m going in for surgery to get my tonsils removed on Thursday (even though it’s a very small surgery I’m still very nervous about it) and I’ve never been put to sleep for surgery before. I’ve had very minor dental stuff done but never something this ‘major’ and I’m very nervous. Thanks so much for this Nicola, it’s really calming down my nerves about going to hospital 😂
OMG if a doctor told me I had the early signs of Sepsis I would have a nervous breakdown...it can be fatal most of the time.....but when Dr. Nicola tells me this I just smile and nod as if I just have a sore throat lol
