The Hunter opponent lost because he used Carnivorous Cube on weak minions. You could make the case for cubing the Spider Bomb for removal, but cubing a 3/3 wolf? That was a really questionable play in a game where you're trying to out-value your opponent. The way Hunter wins this match up is by cubing something big (usually a large stealthy zombeast), and then using Play Dead or Terrorscale Stalker to activate the Cube Deathrattle. This leaves a board that's resistant to Brawl and Reckless Fury and allows you to start pushing damage.
opponent should have saved cube and playdead and stalker for power plays on the welp. Like you said, instead of cubing stupid shit like wolfs and the deathrattle mech. Especially since its a control match off
Your opponent got really lucky with his build-a-beasts too. Almost all had Rush and Lifesteal and the ones that didn't usually had poisonous... and you still won.
The number of divine shield/poisonous ones were silly good. Idk if I'd call the lifesteal ones good though - Kibbler wasn't really applying pressure for most of the game, and lifesteal is usually to the detriment of stats or other keywords on a card. it's hard to judge if his opponent had anything better to craft cause we obviously couldn't see the choices, but I do have to wonder.
The opponent got lifesteal only when he was above 20 health, mostly when already at around 24-26. It didn't do that much and he never got another when he was actually taking fatigue. That's never lucky in my opinion
@@cinimontoast903 it is still lucky though, I know whenever I need lifesteal the most I never get it, and every one if his zombeasts had lifesteal rush haha
Like, this was inspirational. I usually don't have the stamina to want to play against Rexxar as a control warrior. It often feels like conceding and queing up again is the winning play against an early Rexxar...
that's why i have one dire frenzy in my hunter deck high mane dire frenzy on 10 + having the stiched trackers makes them suffer also this is by far my favourite matchup either i win or lose i get to make beasts
10:50 never realized how much of a value turn that is for only 10 mana! You nuke the enemy board for 5, then you clear the remaining mech for a 6 dmg life steal, AND you get a 6/6 taunt in play.
I played value rogue earlier today with Face Collector and I got a Shudderwock so I used my Myras and Academic against zoo-lock and I completely outpaced him with doomsayers and his Death Knight.
Rexxar is a lot stronger than Boom, but Boom still has a good chance at least. I'm excited for the time when Boom and Hagatha will be the only heroes though, then they can be real threats.
exactly, boom and hagatha are on the powerlvl on which the knights of the frozen throne hero cards should have been, both are more limited than their counterparts but still good enough, while rexxar and guldan are just a joke of balance
Drew Peacock Actually, there will probably be 2 more new hero cards when the death knights rotates out. One from the upcoming expansion and one from the expansion that will come along with the rotation. Since Hero Cards are popular, because every hero card saw play, I will probably expect them to make more, just like with rush and life steal cards.
I'm currently 7-1 with the deck and loving it lol, you can do so many disgusting things. Queue'd into the same control warlock back to back. 1st game I MCT his Rin. 2nd Game I azalina his Azari. Sorry "scripted" if you're out there.
I believe that it is because of the resilience you get while building up for dr boom. It actually serves well considering the amount of Odd costed removal in warrior.
I play dr boom and quest in my baku warrior, i have the same winrate against aggressive decks yet destroy control too because i only use the rag hp as a finisher, dr is an ideal value generator and thats why you need him in this kind of deck, build up the armor in the early game, go to valuetown and when its a fatigue match just play sulfuras, you only need to play very few taunts too because of this late game focus
what if u replace 1 card with the quest so in the long run u get the quest done and have the deal 8 hero power to finish thee opponent, no idea if this is a good idea xD
it would also be relatively difficult to get Sulfuras anyway in a reasonable amount of time, and even (heh) then, Dr. Boom's Hero Powers can outvalue more situations than "DIE, INSECT" can due to their versatility
Not true at all Morgan, this deck isn't even favoured vs a lot of slow decks, nevermind in a position of "not needing anymore help". Honestly the quest is a pretty good card in this deck looking at the stats but you definitely want to rebuild the deck slightly to fit it in better (Phantom Militias etc). That being said I prefer not running it.
+4 armour into reckless fury/shield slam is very helpful against aggro, boom's heropower+rushed mechs with omega assemblies provide stronger lategame. i dont think that removing baku to add even cards will make this deck any better. And drawing dr boom is not guaranteed. And +4 armour solo wins maly druid and tempo mage.
Kibler is the kind of person that would give compliments to a chef by inviting him to dinner.
Love the guy!

@Don Buri We know that, but the opponent didn't unless he was sniping. You have to play to win and if your Cube gets silenced, that's too bad.

So many people on the Baku Warrior train.
that's why i have one dire frenzy in my hunter deck high mane dire frenzy on 10 + having the stiched trackers makes them suffer also this is by far my favourite matchup either i win or lose i get to make beasts
always a pleasure to see huntards struggle
Of course there are many people trying it, there finally is a decent control warrior build.
Brian played it before it was cool
Odd Control Warrior is the only standard deck I've been playing since the release of Boomsday.
10:50 never realized how much of a value turn that is for only 10 mana! You nuke the enemy board for 5, then you clear the remaining mech for a 6 dmg life steal, AND you get a 6/6 taunt in play.
now realize that cubing 7/7 and double fake death gives you 28 stats now and 14 hidden in cube for 7 mana.
Last time I was this early, there were dragons in the dragon army.
Now there are just Machines, Mechanical Whelps.
guess that hunter didnt win because he didnt cube anything level
board-changing
It's the craziest thing ive ever seen !
Kibler type of guy who doesn't solve a puzzle because it solvable.
Enjoyed :) thanks kib

Yea the thing that discards 2 of your cards and has 5/7 stats and charge.
Rexxar vs dr boom is such a close and fun matchup!
not really close, this hunter just failed to do anything usefull with his cubes in a matchups he has all the time in the world to do what he wants to

Hi Kibler. I am never this early.
This was an awesome game

This deck is really amazing
Time to beat that bell the way you beat the hunter
Beat the meat to the bit
Nightcore Insanity lol
Play some Tess Rogue
why baku when u are playing Dr boom? the hero power will change and wont that be wasting 1 card slot?

This deck does not need any more help beating late game control decks.

i see

Greetings Brian Kibler :D
Deathrattle Hunter is op
only if he doesnt die before being able to actually toggle any deathrattles. Thats the main problem.
thats why i crush it with zoo right now again
hearthstone is really just about to pick the right deck in the meta
It really is insane against slow decks. Your only hope is to rush it down with Zoo or Paladin or Rogue really.
though it lost to odd warrior...
Not exactly to odd warrior but more precisely it lost to Dr. Boom
Kibler is the type of dude to sell you a diamond for $10
hi dad
Caraca mano tu é mó burguês safado
wait can u not baku boom how disappointing
