Ibrahim Palace or fort is located in the Al Kout neighborhood in the center of Alhofuf. This city was the capital of the Eastern Province until 1953. The fort was originally built by the Ottomans and includes buildings in different architectural styles. These buildings include the Al Qubba mosque, built in 974 AH/1577 AD. The military essence in its design is what distinguishes Ibrahim Palace among other palaces in Saudi Arabia. The fort includes a museum with photographs that provide a window into the fort’s history. Nearest Airport: Al-Ahsa Airport, Hofuf which is 19.9 KM from Ibrahim Palace. . . في وسط الهفوف تحديدا حي الكوت يقع قصر إبراهيم، أو كما يسمى (حصن إبراهيم) حيث كانت المدينة عاصمة المنطقة الشرقية حتى عام 1953م، وبناه في الأصل من قبل العثمانيين بطراز معماري مختلف، وتشمل هذه المباني مسجد القبة، الذي بني في عام 974هـ - 1577م . إن أبرز ما يميز قصر إبراهيم عن القصور الأخرى في السعودية هو الطراز العسكري في تصميم القصر. كما يضم القصر متحفًا يحتوي على صور فوتوغرافية عن تاريخ القلعة، بالإضافة إلى الآثار والقطع الأثرية مثل الفخار الذي تم استيراده إلى المنطقة من خلال التجارة. أقرب مطار: مطار الأحساء ، الهفوف والذي يبعد 19.9 كيلو متر عن قصر إبراهيم.
