the 86+ OVR pack was great - one of the few times ive actually felt rewarded for playing the game
got 90 theodore, 87 dumba, 91 tanev and 95 pastrnak - ended up choosing the final two
hoping they have events for the three other divisions - would definitely encourage people to get back into the game, and helps people build a more competitive team at this point of the season
That 86+ choice pack that you get for completing the 5 games with the pacific division teams is LEGIT!!!!! I got a 92 overall Xhekaj, 92 overall Slavin, 95 overall Pasta and a 87 overall Power 🤯🤯 I picked the 95 pasta and OF COURSE I had to take Xhekaj lmao I could have gotten all 95 overalls for example and if I could only chose one I would have taken Xhekaj… I’m soooo stoked lol I didn’t wanna pay 500k for Arber and his card is actually NASTY! GOLD truck with enforcer defenceman so he can get to 96 speed 94 acceleration with 99 body checking… always pick your favourite players!!! I started listening to Sleeves about that and I have had much more fun with my team.

@@kingtony3420 You go to objectives, Look for Pacific division objectives, It will require you to play 5 games with at least 1 player from each team and you can only use NHL players no icons… you can buy a card from each team in the action house it may cost you 7-10k maybe less but it is soooo worth it… you can also use master set players as long as they are NHL players…
@@warren_es62 yeah the pack is insane and from what it looks like there will be more of those packs I think maybe every Tuesday we will get a new division with the required teams and we will get a pack like that maybe each week until the divisions are done I could be wrong it may not be each week but I know they will do more…

That 17 shots on superstar with 2 min periods, I got 15, game tied and headed to OT.... the catch? The lines for OT didn't have Taylor Hall on the ice... Was pissed. I found I could get 1 Style icon 3.0 collectable for a choice pack of jerseys and logos the week 2 has the Sabres logo in it. Avoiding that last shots challenge
Managed to pull 2 community cards during the 86+ choice pack, hoglander and Myers, pretty huge upgrades for the lineup
Got most the moments done pretty drunk. Last few will be tough. I like the events they put up tho. Easy stuff is needed for the casual base.

Just completed the Pacific Division Showcase. It's a must do, I got : 90 Markstrom, 92 J. Toews, 91 Dunn and 92 Pelech from the choice pack and you can pick 2

The pacific objective for the TWO 86+ is a Must. U get 4 cards and choose two, got a 94 patterson and that RD 92 community request. That pack is no joke fr

For the weekly pacific division objectives, i had base quinn hughes in my lineup and the games played for vancouver never went up. I assume that SB games dont count as "competitive"
Squad battles does count but my Roberto luongo goalie card doesn't. Maybe the canucks aren't canucks.😂
@thatothertoddd22 well with luongo, he is a canuck icon, so maybe that doesn't count as a canuck player item. But base Quinn Hughes? That should count but doesn't so I assume SB doesn't count as competitive but idk
I did all of mine on squad battles it does count and I was using the MSP Pettersson 84 overall and I had to do 8 games with him I think it’s broken it would register and then it wouldn’t… really frustrating but if Quinn Hughes is not working buy a different Canuck card on the auction house OR If you have 2 gold players that are untradeable and they are non NHLers use those 2 for the training camp trade in sets and pick Niles Hoglander from the choice pack it gives you…
I saved myself so much time from all those missions by pulling that 94 hall 😭from that 86+ pack

If I'm being honest EA should do away with the "Top Left" or "Bottom Left" Objectives in these moments. If EA is concerned about too many people getting this card then increase the number of goals. The 4 quadrant thing is pretty annoying. In all honesty though I completed all of these moments in about an hour which is the fastest out of any of the free cards this year. I haven't done the objectives yet however. Which I imagine will get pretty tedious.
I've found these challenges require me to sacrifice having fun playing Rivals for spending hours grinding away at challenges... I'll stick to the fun part and stop worrying about chasing these cards

WHY is Taylor Halls 94 available in packs- I got him in my 86+choice with Myers n Lindgren, was hoping for the Habs but I guess I just skip the offline grind? I haven’t played since GWC ended and just did 2 games to get this done idk how to feel here

For all the people that do not want to grind for the Taylor Hall, In my opinion you should because I have a funny feeling that there will be a trade in set where you trade in all the free flashback cards we have gotten to get a 98 or 99 overall flashback card at the end of the game… but if they do that they will most likely make the sets of the previous ones doable again… I could be COMPLETELY Wrong but you never know…. I have a feeling when the playoff event hits we will have to trade in these cards for the NHL 22 Playoff Zdeno Chara… this is my prediction and I could be completely wrong…

They wreck the game even more. Its unbelievable. Get the "free" card and other stuff, so you need to play 20 hours mostly offline.
Meanwhile the few players, who still play online wait even more for opponents. 🤦🏼♂️
Take 17 snap shots? They are not working good....in elite event was every 7th snap shot counted in the objectives

I’m not even doing the challenges. It’s not worth it when he will be on my 4th line. He would be off my team come Team of the Season. I did the moments to get the 85s to trade them in for power up collectibles. Got the 85 Hall and did the same thing. Got the Pacific pack stuff done. U get any random pacific players from those packs. From the 86+ choice pack I got 86 Hiirikoski, 86 Team of the Week Zucarello(apologies if I’m spelling that wrong), 87 Plays of the Year Kadri, and 94 Transactions Petterson. I traded 94 Petterson in for 5 power up collectibles as well.
Yea so fyi the pacific showcase is also a joke where alumni cards don't frigging count towards games......

This is one of the reasons the game dies after february. A makes it way too hard to get anything in this game. In the trade event, you need over a mil to make a single card now you can get a 'free' hall card if you quit your job, forgo feeding your pet and skip sleep for a week. And whats up with the same featured player every year. What dev is married to taylor hall? Ea make your rewards better and more attainable = more players = more money. Heres how i would fix what you did here. Just complete the moments games and objectives and you get the card. Reduce the objective requirements by about 75%. Make the reward a choice pack of taylor hall or one of the event msps, then you give the players a choice rather than the yearly taylor hall card, and you have more variety in player teams, and more of the playerbase will enjoy the event, retaining customers which is good for the players and EA. Or keep making things crazy hard and keep getting the sane results, dwindling playerbase and lots of complaints. There were some events where you were spot on and got a lot of praise, go back to those types of events.

For ones that aren't hut rich or can't get the objectives done don't worry E.A s got you with there shady practices.
They make a stupid expensive prior tradedeadline event and then throw in a $ 80 (can) card.

Oh you just completed the moments that were super difficult. So now you have to earn 30 more collectibles just to get them.

This game was actually good until this point in my opinion… Master set players were easy to make and the X factors were much more viable because power ups were easy to come by… Then they come out with the elites event and that was okay getting the 5 50 overalls to upgrade Matthews and Hamilton to a higher overall, Then they release this shit 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ why can’t they keep the event structure the same WHY change it for absolutely no reason… Now they release this Hall card and make it much more difficult to get him… I won’t have an issue getting him I’m pretty good at the game but I feel for everyone else that is not at a higher skill level..
