  • I’ve been commissioned to carve a Tiki head out of a Swamp Cypress stump, and I’ve never carved a Tiki head before. So, I take you through the process, starting with a Stihl 025 saw to carve in the basic shape with a standard bar, to a Stihl MS192C with a detail bar to finish it up. I strapped the Gopro on as well to give you an idea of the process in using the saw to get details. It turned out great, the customer was very happy with the result and it’s in a great spot watching you as you come down the driveway.

Il n'a vraiment rien d'exceptionnelle... couper un arbre pour ça, c'est plus que nul!🧐

Thanks for the feedback TylerRed, you're right cutting down a tree just for a chainsaw carving is not very clever, unless it's dead. But using the stump of a tree removed because it was dangerous utilises something that would have just been burnt.
