I can really apreciate you doing it freehand. I have to draw mine out first. Sometimes my saw kicks, Is it because of a dull blade or hard wood? I did my first carving today, I got scared that I would screw it up so I switched to a die grinder as I got a lot of detail done
thanks i appreciate it...it could kick a little from the chain bein dull, sometimes if you plunge cut itll wanna buck on ya a little bit to haha i dont get much kickback anymore but i used to
I’m not sure if I missed it or not but I was wondering what disc you used on your angle grinder to do the finish work. I’m looking forward to going back and watching a lot of videos later.
What kind of bar and chain do you use for the more finer detail work? Are you running a dime tip or quarter tip bar? Do you use a mini .043 gauge chain or the regular .050 gauge chain?
You made me a believer!
