Correct on booking early, I've never booked as early as january. If you look now most of the dumpy motels are charging $300 per night, which is sad because it never used to be this way. I've been going there for 15 years, at this point you're better off waiting until the last minute. Once they realize they are not going to book rooms the rates drop quite a bit after the first weekend... not ideal if you plan to go out early but keep in mind for those arriving late to the party
We're going to be out there on the 24th of July I'm sure we'll run into you somewhere we're staying at three flags for the first week and then on over to Hog Heaven
The Custer KOA is great. Just checked, they still have one cabin, $118 per nite. Stayed there two years ago; good people, nice place; quiet. And, close to the best riding. Can't go this year, otherwise I would have already reserved it.
Hey guys. So I stayed in Keystone last year and that was my first time to the rally. I enjoyed it, but would I stay in Keystone again? No, its TOO far from Sturgis. If you're going down there for the Riding, It's definitely the Closest place to stay for the best riding In the black hills in my opinion Needles, Iron mountain and custer state park and Mt Rushmore are all within twenty minutes of Keystone but If you go to the chip to go see a show when you leave you have to deal with not only The police Gauntlet , then you have to deal with the deer Gauntlet Between sturgis and rapid city and then again from rapid city to keystone. It made for a few long Trips back to the hotel in keystone. Unfortunately I won't be coming down this yr but definitely coming down for the 85th. Cheers from the Great White North 🇨🇦
Missed you! The time is different in Wisconsin. My bad. I'm in WI. and mighty tired. After eating now, I'm a little better. My blood sugar was all screwed up. I just revised Tam isn't squeezing she actually can talk again.
what would you like to know, Most of there sites are full hookups, they are in the sun as most campsites are. they have a breakfast buffet for a price, store, and large swimming pool. They are about 12 miles outside of town. They are 7 miles to the cornor gas station and where you make a right to head to town, left to the Chip.
Y’all are knocking it out of the park this year!
Thanks James
Love your shows
Thanks
