If you want another Scorpions' song like this, I suggest "White Dove", and "Humanity".. But if you want hard rock, I suggest "The Zoo" or "Rock You Like A Hurricane".. Scorpions is one of the best rock bands out there...❤️❤️
I'd love to see them react to "Rock You Like a Hurricane." Please can we get back to some more rockin' songs like that one when it's a reaction to an actual rock band?
I'm an 80s child and I grew up with this gem of a song. What caught me with this reaction was Rob, who is usually impatient with quiet songs/ballads, was fully engrossed with this song.
They are such a great band! They have other great songs like, Rock You Like a Hurricane, The Zoo, Always Somewhere, Big City Nights, and When the Smoke Is Going Down.
They have "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and "No One Like You" and "Wind of Change" - These 3 songs put them on the map and they're all from different albums.
So glad you are checking this out! Rockers or "ballads", they kill it every time. Other favorites are "Still Loving You", "No one Like You", "Rock you like a Hurricane," "Holiday", and "Winds of Change".
I was fortunate enough to finally get to see these guys live many years ago and Klaus dedicated this song to Ronnie James Dio who had recently passed . It was unbelievable. Chills for days
One of the greatest rock bands ever, Klaus' vocals are so dang sharp & Rudolf & Matthias are so good! Such a great ballad, the arrangement & backing vocals make it. (Its criminal they're not in the hall of fame, especially this year when people/groups who aren't even rock-n-roll got nominated)
Nearly all mainstream music has been low skilled and degenerate trash since early 2000’s as well. Scorpions are absolutely amazing and you’re 100% correct they should be in the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame!
My favorite Scorpions song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played this a lot in the early 90's when I was in electronics at a department store. I was a regular cashier, but sometimes I was in electronics & stock boy. I played the tape from beginning to end, and always waited for this song.
This song was one of the songs we played at my mother's funeral a few years back. It still gets to me everytime, but it is such a beautiful song. Thank you for listening to it.
Check out "The Zoo", the riff is an absolute killer, right up your alley Jay, and Claus' voice is incredible on that track, . A real pulsing vibe of a rock song!
Another Rudolf Schenker riff, catchy as Hell and huge. Along with his brother Michael, no one has a better tone and they both have tons of Ikonic riffs.
Long time Scorpions fan. This song is one of my favorites. My angel was sent to me two years after this song came out. Other great songs: "Big City Nights" a real rocker. Another great rock ballad, " Believe In Love".
Well, I tell you I've been there a few times in a few dumb state of view. I wouldn't recommend it if you ain't never been there, but you could enjoy the song if you don't want to enjoy a whiskey drink and a woman's a sound😊
If you're not wearing a body, why haven't you had a hurricanes around? I've got a body I got a buddy. Ah, yeah, everytime haste just now recovering from the last one. But everytime before the storm comes for the kind comes down. I'm sending my scorpions rock you like a hurricane. I say hi brother rock like a hurricane all round.
Hi guys. I am a big fan and 65 years old. I loved the Scorpions when I first heard them many many years ago. For some reason I don't remember this song and that makes me so sad. This has got to be one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It actually brought me to tears. Klaus is a very underrated song writer and singer. Thank you guys for being so awesome and I'm so glad you enjoy "my generations" great music!
I got to see them twice in the early 90s when i lived in AZ both shows were outside under the stars a fitting place for the Scorpions they are true stars
The Scorpions are definitely Germany's finest musical export. I saw them last September in Houston and they were amazing!! We even drove to Durant, OK in 2019 to see them at the Choctaw Casino. They never disappoint! Other Scorpions songs that y'all should check out are "Blackout", "Can't Live Without You", and their remake of The Who's "I Can't Explain."
The fact that the images in the video are of the Southwest U.S. helps tot he whole feel of the song. I may be biased, since I lived in the S.W. for years, and those were my most "spiritual" time.
Every time this song comes up in conversation, there's always someone who says how inspirational it was to them during some difficult time in their life. He's at rock-bottom ("the land of the morning star" being an obvious reference to Hell), calling out to God, or anyone who will listen, pleading for help, but learning that the strength he needs has to come from within first. It's easy to get lost in the vocals, and that guitar... but the lyrics hit you like a freight train.
I haven’t heard this song in decades! And just hearing it today (for the second time watching your reaction) I realize how much restraint the drummer has. At the start it’s not even setting a rhythm, it’s just an isolated beat or two for emphasis in just the perfect spot.
MYSTERIOUS VIBES - THE BLACKBYRDS 1970s Soultry Soft R&B like you have not experienced in music yet from the EPIC INTRO this song will take you on a Romantic journey so beautiful and smooth only in the 70s and 80s the artist were super mega creative with their instruments and voices guaranteed
Rhythm of Love, Passion Rules the Game, Tease Me Please Me, Bad Boys Running Wild. All of those are great. Scorpions have such a huge catalog to choose from Enjoy
This is one of my all time faves of the Scorpions, it lets you just drift away in the melody. Please could you both react to Journey's song called Mother Father live 1981 escape tour - 2022 remastered version, i think you guys would love it. 😎🎸👌🎤
One of the best songs ever made, just because of the feeling you get listening to it. Never thought you would get to this song since its more underrated songs despite its 330M+ views
"Arizona", "The Zoo", "Blackout", you will recognize "Rock You Like A Hurricane" from any sporting event, are some other suggestions. Time to take an off ramp to one of Michael Shanker's band, UFO, good starting tunes; "Doctor, Doctor", "Lights Out", or "Too Hot To Handle", try the live versions from the Strangers in the Night album.
Scorpions is a great band. This voice is instantly recognisable. I don’t know how you can listen only to one song at a time of each band, singer etc. I wouldn’t be able to wait that long if I liked a song. I would’ve listened to the whole album or catalogue asap 😅. When I was growing up and came across a song that I liked, I’d go to a shop (yes, music record stores back then was a thing) or downloaded the whole album of that artist. How you got this much patience to wait, I’ve no idea 😀.
I really liked this band! When they hit the scene, they were unique and I thought very instrumental and great musicians...and lead singer was EXCELLENT! This song proves it all!
...they " hit the scene", in 1972...I discovered them in about 1980...The Zoo...Great band Claude...check out "Sails of Cheron". with original guitar player Uli Jon Roth
The best Scorpions ballad is "Lady Starlight" followed by "Always Somewhere"...In fact Lady Starlight has an entire instrumental last part that is total ear candy.
Here in Myrtle Beach, SC when we know a hurricane is coming we have a hurricane party and you know we have Scorpions playing loud..."Rock You Like A Hurricane"...so please listen to that AND their song "The Zoo"...MY FAVORITE Scorpion song!!
When I saw the song I also thought of this one; a wee bit of 'pure 80's synth pop. Band called 'Real Life' same song... 'Real Life - Send me An Angel'. For more awesome Scorpion Rock Ballad try 'Always Somewhere' used to be on my play list all the time, great tune. Or a great inbeween song, neither ballad nor out 'n out rocker the great 'Is There Anybody There?' by 'The Scorpions' of course. Cheers.
My brother gave me the Blackout album for my birthday and I became a Scorpions fan. So much talent. World Wide Live is still my second favorite album only behind Live Bullet.
Back in 2006 and 2007, I used to literally cry while singing along with these lyrics. My first wife had just died (August of 2006) from cancer, and I was begging for an angel. I still can't believe I survived that level of loss. But finally, in December of 2009, an angel was sent to me. We would be married in 2011, and we still are.
I know I love to. I love to rock like a hurricanevery time. I do though it gets me in the rhythm until the rhythm rhythm of love. That's what a rock and roll a horror kind of for you to the rhythm. The song is called the rhythm of love and scorpions as who does?😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
You? Know there's groups out there like. Steve Earl? Stever. For example. Everybody know. Everybody knows how many everybody copperhead road of course of course OK? Oh Step 2 he did a couple more songs Hey. He did a couple more songs but I said sleep now. I guitar tab guitar tab guitar tab guitar town by Steve. Klaus's voice is timeless. It touches every crucial soul-meridian. You have to be a zomboid not to feel his voice. I still miss the Lovedrive/Virgin Killer days and before. Lots of fun watching them grow. But, now is just as beautiful. Thank you, Klaus, Rudy, and band for keeping this sting alive.
If you are really enjoying Scorpions, the new album last year, Rock Believer, has some great tracks.......Rock Believer, Seventh Sun, Gas in the Tank and then the only ballad...When You Know where You Come From. You will love them all. The lead singer Klaus Meine is now in his 70's which makes his vocals all more impressive.
The Scorpions are part the the soundtrack of my High School and College days. They are absolutely amazing. I’m 60 and I still listen to them
58 I've seen them 3x's
Seek the roses along your way, just beware of the thorns. Powerful asf!
💯
🥰
Still Loving You is easily one of their best ballads.🤘
My favorite ❤
Especially the longer album version, the music video cuts off the end solo which is my favorite part
Omg, yes. There is an AMAZING acoustic version of it here on UA-cam that is WOW. He still has the pipes, tuned finer than ever.
That song is eternally gorgeous.
Always lamenting that one.
The lead singer’s raspy voice compliments the sultry music. Good song.
The Zoo studio version cause it crunches soooooo goood. One of the most recognizable riffs of all time.
Definitely Rock You Like A Hurricane.
Gotta add my 2¢ worth .. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" indeed!!👈🏼👈🏼
@@kurtpflegl9724 - "Another Piece Of Meat" is another hard rocker, specially the version from the album Scorpions World Wide Live.
I love the Scorpions. "Wind of Change" (very end of the Cold War feel), "Holiday" (Starts a ballad, ends a rocker), "I Can't Explain" (rocker)
You know I can't explain is a Who song, right?
Holiday starts as a ballad, has a brief "rocker" break, but then resumes as a ballad and gently fades out.
They already did "Wind of Change".
Awesome!!!!! I’m so glad you did this it never gets old and we so need our angels
Such a moving song , I love his voice ✌️
This song is one of THE MOST PROFOUND out of the age of rock.
Ure damn right
I'm an 80s child and I grew up with this gem of a song. What caught me with this reaction was Rob, who is usually impatient with quiet songs/ballads, was fully engrossed with this song.
What an epic song by Scorpions. One of the all time great rock bands!
Lady Starlight and Born to Touch Your Feelings....both haunting melodies by Scorpions....must listen.
@@LastLetterisZed702 I couldn't find Rock You Like a Hurricane
@@kurtpflegl9724 Just type: Scorpions Rock You Like A Hurricane
@@LastLetterisZed702 I did. More than once. It's not there. They either took it down or it was never there.

Wind of change from the scorpions 👍✌️🫶
I'd love to hear you do "The Zoo". One of my favorite Scorpion songs. Great opening riff...
Beautiful song. When the Smoke is Going Down is another great ballad from the Scorpions.
