    ABOUT US
    Insight is an American religious-themed weekly anthology series that aired in syndication from October 1960 to 1983. Produced by Paulist Productions in Los Angeles, the series presented half-hour dramas illuminating the contemporary search for meaning, freedom, and love. Insight was an anthology series, using an eclectic set of story telling forms including comedy, melodrama, and fantasy to explore moral dilemmas. The series was created by Fr. Ellwood E. "Bud" Kieser, the founder of Paulist Productions.
    The anthology format and the religious nature of the program attracted a wide variety of actors, including Ed Asner, Jack Albertson, Beau Bridges, Carol Burnett, Ron Howard, Cindy Williams, Patty Duke, Ann Jillian, Cicely Tyson, James Doohan, Jack Klugman, Walter Matthau, Bob Newhart, Bill Bixby, John Ritter, Mark Hamill, Laura Dern, Barbara Hersey, Flip Wilson, and Martin Sheen.

    Thank you for this! I had such a crush on James Stacy in the Lancer days. It's wonderful to see this, which I hadn't known of before, and to see him young, happy, healthy, and whole.

    Such a good looking man. It was truly awful what happened to him. May he rest in peace now and be whole again. Rather poignant when he said, "If you cant impose your will on life, you must accept what life has in store for us..." T. H. Lawrence. I wonder if he truly was able to? I mean he had to accept a lot. Gave me goose bumps to be honest.

      I am too. I loved him since I was 12 and now I am 62. But still in love with him and miss him so much. When I was 21 I had an accident too and since this time I was handicaped. So I understand what he was felling after his accident. I was so sad about him and hope he was after the bad time happy again. 😊❤

    These shows are great. Good lessons and cool nostalgia. In 1991-1992 when these were rebroadcast the picture quality was perfect. It was in Columbus Ohio. Maybe a local affiliate there still has the tapes.
