I didn't think he was growing older I just thought it was his screaming face. Lol.
Same😂
Ngl same 😂
Yeah same...
Meee tooo 😂😂
Radiation aged people’s faces , that’s why victor timely died instantly but since Loki can live up to 5000 years , radiation didn’t matter at all
3:37 this also proves by the fact that loki's skin didn't turned blue when he was in TVA even though magic doesn't work there because loki is half-asgardian and hald-frost giant
Technically, the magic dampners could have been disabled by Loki(now that he knew this existed) for contingency reasons if he needed to use his powers.
Loki was changed via transmutation. Meaning his form was permanently altered.
It's like turning lead to gold. A single spell is required to change the properties, but once done, no magic is required to maintain it, and no dampers would turn the gold back into lead.
@@IlikePeaches-ve2cv if that's the case then why did his body colour changed when he touched the casket of ancient winters in Thor 1
@IlikePeaches-ve2cv Yeah I saw it as Odin turning loki Asgardian permenantly. Meaning in his asgardian form he can get cold but probs not as much as an average asgardian. In the mcu they never explain his physiology so you just have to assume.
@@divine8234Because ancient casket is ancient magic of frostgiants so it can temporarily break the spell.
I mean it does makes sense. Stronger the radiation the faster you grow as we saw with Timely. So that level of radiation would have just meant that Loki got powerful faster. If I am not wrong the pressure put upon Loki reduced as he moved along so this theory does make sense. I’m glad it ended like this with one of the few marvel productions I liked in recent years ending so well
I can't remember, but in a breakdown of this scene someone else did point out that he is potentially getting older, which is why he doesn't turn to spaghetti because he's getting stronger
It could have aged him maybe even millions of years, also because loki has a special magic probably he used to stop himself from looking old.
@@nintendowolf simply because he's an Asgardian.
@@yahwedalumiracleonwuneme I don't get what the point of your comment is
@@nintendowolf Loki didn't turn spaghetti because he got stronger as he aged
Hey Canadian Lad, great video as always!
1. Loki's clothes, especially his coat, take 10 seconds to disintegrate. Polyester lasts for even 200 years. Which means each second might be 20 years passing for Loki.
2. Second theory is that the closer you are to the Loom, the quicker time passes, at an exponential rate, making Loki age 100s of years per second at the end.
his coat was made of wool/tweed actually . intersting theory though
2nd point Oo😮
And the time he spent going back for redo he grew stronger.
Timely was exposed to that same radiation. Did he come back centuries old?
@@cleverboy867 did u not watch the video? He explained it in the video.
Yah, this makes sense. In the first episode when loki was pulled from time stream, he didn't have any protection suit and he didn't die there too.
"I'm NOT Asgardian"
- Loki -
"InfinityWar"
"I love you my sons"
- Odin, Thor Ragnarok.
If Loki wasn't an Asgardian, Odin would've just said, "I love you Thor, my son and I also love you like my son Loki" but Odin never said that.
If The Great King of Asgard Odin himself is referring to Loki as his son, he definitely is an Asgardian. Not just some random Asgardian but he is the Prince of Asgard.
There was a concept that Kenneth Branagh wanted to include which was Loki turning out to be half Aesir half Jotun hence why he has Aesir features like hair and similar skin texture, proportion, height, etc. But just blue skin as a Jotun
I actually made this theory on my own in my head the night I finished the series, because I noticed he was aging 😅
we all did. he just wanted to make video about it to make money
@@Suomi80Finnish go cry about it
@@tycoon_codeveloper4327 i already did.
@@Suomi80Finnish😂
@@Suomi80FinnishNothing wrong about making money
Like Thor said, "The older Asgardians get, the more powerful they become."
@@aldenpezo6661 well still an asgardian
but loki is not an asgardian tho isn't he from Jotunheim?
@@cronixx_1Odin's magic changed his physiology
Did you even watch the video? @@cronixx_1
@geforce2ultra130 still, he is not asgardian. He didn't change his genetics
I did notice it. Also, In the last episode, it took Loki centuries to learn everything about physics and engineering; therefore he has already aged way before his sacrifice but it wasn't until he walked on that bridge that we could see his older skin because of the radiation exposure.
Would that count since he didn't time travel but only warped into his past self
2:38 Before hearing this, I almost came and commented that Loki is not an Asgardian but a Frost Giant lol. It's great to think that he's fully Asgardian and a Frost Giant though.
I've noticed and thought that he is becoming the classic Loki played by Richard E. Grant
Lad I noticed something was up while Loki was walking but i thought that he was growing old but then i thought I maybe seeing things..but you proved that right thank you lad✨
No, I actually did noticed Loki getting older by his face. As soon as Loki starts walking and all the temporal energy striking him, I immediately remembered OBs words that you will age away when all the temporal power strike you. That was amazing. He gained a few wrinkles when he got older but he did not looked too old as he is Asgardian
Seems to me that they kinda merged the face of Richard E Grant's classic Loki over Hiddleston's Face at that moment.
He's not Asgardian though
@@yoyomaynethe magic transmutation
Only thing I would like to point out is that, if I remember correctly, it was Loki's mom (Frigga) who taught him his magic. Not that Odin bestowed some magic on him, other than to hide his ice giant appearance
Odin bestowed magic on him when he turned him to a normal baby, frost giant babies are normal too but u know what i mean
@@terique69 Yup, that was the only magic Odin bestowed on him. Loki learned his magic from his mom
Excellent video! Loki is a true Asgardian, thanks to Odin's enchantments. There's the fact Loki didn't revert back into his Frost Giant form when he first arrived in the TVA. Remember, the TVA has anti-magic capabilities, neutralizing Loki's magic and, by extension, Odin's. When he finally embraced his dual heritage, Loki became worthy of stewarding the multiverse.
Loki is not an asgardian, he even said so himself before getting killed by Thanos
No dude this is a plot hole. He is a frost giant and Odin's enchantments will not work in the TVA, especially considering that the Infinity Stones are infinitely more powerful than the Odinforce. The TVA should have reverted him to frost giant state. Plot hole.
@@REDACTEDx69 facts
Hey lad,
Just wanted to appreciate how much you do for us.. watching something so many times, frame by frame is no small feat
Hats off dude
The one thing everyone missed is that, whatsoever deep down Loki still thinks he is the Asgaurdian. And one thing we all know is the Love of Asgaurdings for the Gold. Everything in Asgaurd is built from gold. Especially the Throne. Hence when Loki decides to sit on the throne. He summons all th gold from that rock to form his golden throne...and for me, it's just a beautiful detail.
He is Odinson, after all.
This detail was most pleasant for me.
Bro the first time you mentioned loki getting old in the previous breakdown video, I ran to the animated avengers to watch the thor clip and now you have added that to your video👍
Odin's case is exception because he is holding the potentially second most powerful asgardian as he age so does hela, imprisoning the hela causes him his power become neutral and it's undirectly imprisoning the odin also, it's lead him with no purpose that's why he accepted his fate because he can't contribute anything in the universe even though powers are growing exponentially
The fact that Loki too spent centuries learning about the Loom, its mechanics, physics and engineering before he time slipped to the point where Sylvie was gonna kill HWR, also deduces that he has aged centuries and in that timeframe his magic got definitely much stronger and then there's that point where he aged as he walked through to the Temporal Loom. It really is an amazing ending to the series. Hiddleston gave his best as always!!!!
Love your vidoes too lad!
thank you for the Christmas gift lad. Wishing you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance
theres also an alternate theory that thats just his magic as the blockade is down, but this one makes much more sense. also loki spent centuries learning the way to fix the loom when he went back and forth, so he ma have aged that much as well.
It's confusing because you don't age in the tva, but his mind has aged 1000s of years. Sylvie aged since a kid because she was on timelines. Kid loki didn't age in the void but was supposed to be 1000s of years old too.
I'm extremely surprised no one noticed this before. I thought it was pretty obvious since it was made clear that the temporal radiations age you up, which makes sense as Timely's suit ages up almost instantly and wears out.
And then the wrinkles on Loki's face indicated this, and his asgardian physiology aswell, which would make him extremely powerful as he passed further.
Lastly, there was no way the Loki before entering the area of the radiations could destroy the loom with barely his telekinesis that easily. So him aging up was the only way he could've achieved it.
Also about Odin, his magic has been made clear to surpass the TVA's technology. Because not only his enchantments lasted after Loki entering the TVA but also because Loki didn't revert back into a Frost Giant.
i realised he was getting older the first time i watched the final episode and im just shocked that so many people missed it
Fr
Idk, he still looks the same age when all is done and he'd sitting on his throne though
Probably because the radiation didn't effect him anymore@@Ragman312
Bro you answered the question I had for ages... Thanks a lot❤
The look on Loki's face when Odin said "My sons"
I sure did
Love your channel even when I do catch things!
Hey Lad, we all know that your upload schedule is not the best, but the quality of your videos are just worth eternities of wait. I will always keep waiting for your videos, even at the end time if needed.
Special hug to the canadian lad
It’s also good to note that we saw just how powerful an old Loki was when he went against Goliath. So it’s a pretty sure bet he grows stronger as he grows older. And this Loki, was probably hundreds if not thousands of years older than him with far more experience
honestly yes i did and a lot of other people did i saw in video's its very interesting and it could have to do with him getting stronger because he is a god and as they age they get stronger
This is a great theory that I completely brushed past and it makes so much sense
Loki is not an Asgardian he is an Jotunn, an ice giant.
Have you considered covering the Percy Jackson series that starts Wednesday?
This actually makes a lot of sense because if you recall when he was time slipping centuries to learn and understand the physics, he thus also perfecting time slipping and the ability to control space and time.
Loki having the ability to timeskip and the fact that his original timeline was pruned might have made him timeless which means Time literally doesn't affect him anymore hence he cannot age now giving him immunity against the temporal aura. As for the power, maype its bcz Loki absorbed all the energy from the aura that hit him, unloking his complete potential. Just like in Dragon Ball Super where Goku unlocked Ultra Instinct by absorbing the energy of the spirit bomb that hit him
I have a theory here,
1) you remember the first episode where loki was pulled out of time by mobius , than also the radiation didn't effect loki. He was there for a brief moment But he was.
2)Nothing major but he who remains when talking about knowing about time slipping said - "Survey says" that is a nod to steve harvey when he hosted family fued
3) When at the end Mobius says to sylvie that he will wait let time paas, He wanted to tell loki that he succeeded in restoring the multiverse as mobius knew that loki can't be with him but can hear him
4)Loki character arc is same as as tony from a selfish , self centered man to sacrificing himself for his loved one
MAN I REALLY WANT SERIES LIKE LOKI!!
WHAT A MASTERPEICE
EDIT - loki cannot age because in s2 ep1 he was pulled out of time, every fabric of his existence,Just a thought because he didn't get his hair white
Loki the God of the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse.
One small thing: I do think any Asgardian would have been able to survive like Loki because being “blessed by the Odin force”, as you put it, is what makes someone an Asgardian. That’s just my head canon but I still love this as an explanation of how Loki is able to do it
I thought I accidentally played his previous video when the video started.😅😅
Ya me too
Hey, Thank you for the video and I hope your mom and family is doing well.
Thank you mate. :)
I got so moved by the last episode and Tom's acting that at one point if it was possible I wanted to sacrifice myself for throne and let Loki live his life with his friends😢
Great video, I hope you cover the upcoming What If series!
You just make this amazing series even more amazing!!
Long time no see lad😅
Love you Canadian Lad❤
New detail:-
When one above all said to loki, you haven't learnt how to stop time yet? My theory is that loki didn't instantly managed to stop time he took a lot of time to learn that skill which was not mentioned in the episode but kang understood it very well so his expression changed and he look loki a lot more seriously.
Yep caught that the second I saw it! He’s a god, an adopted Asgardian, a frost giant by birth, blessed by Odin, and taught by Frigga. He’s aging and getting stronger.
In "What If...Thor Were an Only Child," we got to see what Loki would have been like if he had stayed at Jotenheim and been raised by the Frost Giants instead. So I like this explanation very much as to how he should be considered Asgardian. Phenomenal work as always, Canadian Lad!
YESSSSIIIRR. Soon as I got that notif, INSTANT JOY
I’m just glad I’m not the only one who noticed
Didn't notice but it makes sense. One of the best MCU Scenes and Tom deserves The Emmy.
im glad you include the part that about loki as asgardian and frost giant, it does clear up some confusion i had
Didn't expect this video
I love this theory! You put it all full circle. Ur the ACTUAL lad! Keep up the good vids!!!
I noticed that too 😮 and its the first time I've seen anyone/a video mention it.
good vid man
I knew this already, the first time I saw it, I realised it and I was sure of it!
Great theory that actually makes sense. Thank you for sharing it with us!
You're right, I don't know what I was thinking 3 months ago.
U make every movie and every series more interesting for me , thank you
I actually noticed that right away. I was like there is no way they were going to pull a Captain America with Loki that would be stupid. But he stayed young which was cool. I really thought that because he was turning older, to look like O.G Loki (Richard E. Grant) and place him as Loki at the End of Time. Old Loki was the most powerful, so it would make sense.
I noticed it and I was confused until I watched ur video
Thx ❤
Well one thing that just came to my mind... why didn't they, the TVA come to prune Cap when he stayed back with Peggy!???
I needed someone to explain this thing.... Really
It was in that scene where I thought 'Wow, Hiddleston's been doing this for a long time' but didn't interpret it as aging. Totally makes sense though.
Bet we never noticed? That’s like one of three Loki s2 details you told me that I DID know
Today’s my birthday and this was the best time for a Canadian Lad video. ❤
Happy birthday to you❤
@@adibmahmood8618 Thank you! 💝
I like ur videos so much
Considering promise of WHAT IF, I'm still waiting for LOKI S2 video😊
I actually did. I was wondering why he got older and why he had so many more wrinkles. I also realized that is why he wasn't vaporized like Timely, because he ages a lot slower. What did not cross my mind was that Asgardians get stronger as they get older
I love u and your content
Thank u for doing a breakdown on everything marvel because it lets me embrace my “marvel nerd side” and know there is someone who will catch something that just perfectly pieces the whole story together😁
Thank you for pointing it out! I thought I was the only one noticed it!
Bro looking forward to see your review on what if season 2
I did notice when I watched the episode and I'm pretty sure you mentioned it in your review of the ep though..
I commented on one of your previous videos that Loki being an Asgardian was getting more powerful as he was aging while walking through the hallway
“Time is relative”
~Albert Einstein
I cant wait for what if s2 littereally!!!
It is just like what He Who Remains said - You can't compensate for infinity. The temporal radiation does age anyone in the radiation zone, but it can't go until infinity. I don't think it was intentional, but what I think was that Loki knows he can age infinitely, and HWR saying that, made Loki go into the radiation zone without any protective suit.
I DID notice him getting older in this scene. In fact, I remember watching this thinking "--whoa his face looks just like Classic Loki from Season 1"
Look Canadian Lad that was the first thing anyone or rather I realised during my first time seeing this.
What is next video- "I bet your never noticed Lokis magic is green"
Minor quibble: Loki is a Frost Giant adopted by Asgardians. It's *possible* that Odin's power didn't merely change his appearance and actually made him Asgardian, but this is never clarified. Of course it's also possible (likely, in fact) that Frost Giants grow more powerful with age, but I don't recall that ever being established either. So while I agree that Loki is probably growing more powerful as he walks to the throne, we don't have an explanation. EDIT: you went on to say exactly this. LOL. Teaches me to comment in the middle of a video.
exactly man 😮
It was in another show where they get more powerful, and he even states Odin had his time. Not consistant.
I’m glad they went with a more subtle approach of this huge plot detail rather than an explanation of someone just saying exactly what happened in the show.
I noticed it but I wasn't sure..
Loki isn't just an Asgardian but a literal being of Asgardian magic educated in sorcery by the greatest Asgardian sorcerers.
I noticed it during my first watch, cause it looked like he suddenly became his older version from the end of time. Always nice to see theories get acknowledged though.
Honestly...
I thought I was the only one who noticed it...
MR LAD!! thank you! i was waiting for some to notice, an asgardian gets more powerful as they age. we just saw that
The Old Loki in Season 1 was having Glorious purpose.... Here in Season 2 Loki had to become Old for Glorious purpose 😅
Big fan of urs!
It was in fact the first thing I noticed
When if first saw it, I thought it was him looking like classic loki as in he was getting older
hey I was wondering why was 616 chosen as the sacred timeline, have I missed sth?
Also love your videos, you can really see when a youtuber puts effort into his channel
Incredible theory. It is probably the most important and powerful one out there yet.
Now Loki knows about evey Kang in evey timelines he's holding.
pretty sure he'd play a big role in the Kang Dynasty.
ooh well i already thought about it!
sad i never shared it with anyone!
Oooh, ok that last part about the odin force makes sense
Mohit bhai(comicverse) already said that 😁
I recently found that the episodes name itself being a ouroboros effect both the first and last episode have the same title 'Glorious Purpose'
