Elton John was performing his last concert and was thanking his family when Chris Martin sent a message from his concert to thank Elton John.
The singer is retiring from touring after his final show in Stockholm, Sweden. His "Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour" began in 2018 and was originally scheduled to end in 2021 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tour featured over 300 shows and was attended by more than 6 million fans worldwide.
Elton John's decision to retire from touring was influenced by his desire to focus on his family, as he has two sons with his husband David Furnish.
