It would be helpful to say that you can enter the Stadium only between 20:00 and 00:00
these people drive worse than the people on the street of vice city! and trust me, they are really bad drivers!

maybe this will help:
- when you see that in front of you, cars are gonna collide, DO NOT KEEP YOUR SPEED! you have to become slower and try to spot and predict the best spot to pass
-after you become first, do not try to overtake cars in front of you(which are last places), just match your speed to theirs and stay behind them.
I did that for the last 6 rounds while I was behind 2 cars the whole time and drove continuously with constant speed. the chance that they make accidents becomes less
I tried this race with these tips 2 times and won it at the second one

Quick Win:
When the race starts, drive INTO the black square near the exit point and park your car in the farthest corner and shoot at all the cars until they explode. Normally, when a car is destroyed, it will respawn from the black square, but since your car is there, they won't respawn. So, when you blow up all the cars, get your car from the black square and drive through it at normal speed and you'll win.

Drunk Driving Simulator 1986
It's weird, but based on my experience, you sort of want this race to have a bunch of crashes in order to win. A race that's running too clean and flawlessly means that the 2nd and 3rd place cars aren't too far behind you. An opponent spinning you out on the final laps (which seems to invariably happen in clean races) will relegate you to the runner-up position. I've only finished in the 3:30 range in 2nd or 3rd place, while I've only finished 1st in the 3:50-4:00 range.
This isn't even a walkthrough. It's just you playing and not particularly good either. You never should have won this race but thankfully the RNG gods were smiling on you that day. At the beginning don't just drive into all the fools crashing, slow down and pick your spots. Staying near a wall can help you as most of the time these guys will hit you near the back of your car causing a PIT maneuver like situation. If you see a car heading for a wall, slow down and pass on the side they are going to hit the wall at. Example: If they are about to crash into the left wall, move to the left side. They will almost certainly hard turn back into the middle of the course. 3:44 shows this and another perfect example at 4:09
I am at 99% and I can't beat this :/
Yes it's hard. Looks like all the other cars are after me only and whenever my car collides with one of them it turns around.I was also at 99% and finally managed to win the 1st place.
+Dilip Myself if you have this for PS2 like I do, I found a video with a "trick" to pass it. It kinda takes the fun/challenge out of it but it did work and I got 100%. There's a UA-cam video on it
I've played it on pc and already passed it to reach 100%. I just had to slow down and evade their attacks. It's really frustrating when they all jump on you like wild dogs. But nothing is more delightful when you manage to show them thumb down

These people drive worse than a son from Danika Patrick and Maldonado
the trick is not to try and stay in 1st place from the very start, just drive carefully around the track, and eventually the other cars will do themselves more damage and blow up themselves anyway, just pit when you are around 1/4 car health left. (need to stop and wait for the bar to refill, not a simple drive through it etc)
therefore will be a lot slower around the track, slow and steadily overtaking one by one, will eventually wins the race!
HOW DO YOU GET INTO THE STADIUM???? please tell me
At 20:00 the doors to the stadium will be open
i beat the race but the hotirng racers didnt appear outside the stadium, WHY!?
The only way to get a Hotring Racer is to complete the final Import Export list at Sunshine Autos
I beat it soon after, but yeah, that mission drove me pretty mad
My winning time was 3:16, although my fastest lap wasn't under 15 seconds
They brought this back now in GTA Online update along with this car.
Hope they bring back Hyman Stadium and the three Stadium events in GTA 6
Wow... The CPUs are much worse drivers than in San Andreas' hotring.
@LMTR14: Nah, Blood Bowl in San Andreas takes the cake. Everyone has a better car than you, and they can steal your checkpoints.
This wouldn't even be that hard if these effers didn't drive like they were having a damn stroke or the track wasn't so narrow so you could better avoid them. Maybe the people responsible for this had a stroke while making this mission which would explain it.
how did you join the races???
You should come to stadium between 20:00 and 00:00. The first mission will be Hotring, next is Bloodring and the last one is Dirtring (the hardest).
That's was 4 years ago, and i already beat the game (100%)

the cpu's suck at driving but if they were driving cars from gta 4 i could see why
I wanted another run in Vice City Stories. I've won this race several times, but the toughest was in Los Santos, San Andreas. I've been racing on true ovals and I've never seen a Figure Eight track since going to the Los Santos Forum.
The flag man was beneath an overpass and the back stretch was above me. Everytime I start, there's always a big crash I get involved in, but I made it through. All in all, I finish that race in less than five minutes.
This track is extremely hard on equipment.

For 100% do you have to win the race or just place in the top 3?
I think you have to get 1st place for 100% but to win money you need to get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. I am at 99% and I can't beat this yet :/
I'm literally so unlucky with these side missions, I did the hot ring, finished first place but some other car smashed into my car as I finished and it set on fire and then I lost because my car was destroyed... Also, with emergency missions, I always lose on the last levels
Why aren't there more racing games with this kind of racing?

I like this event, despite the oppoments are amateurs but i loath their selfish and reckless driving.
The oppoments are asking or looking to be rammed and sent offroad in flames as a punishment for not being worthy like us.
I hate amateurs and losers who dare to try outdo our advanced driving skills with their flippant desire to win.

My most absolute favorite thing in GTA history
What i did differently is that i did the rain dance and sacrificed gta las vages from releasing.
I finished first and my time is 4:44 and I just stayed in first place the whole time
I just won the match in 5 minutes because I have poor driving skill.

Sunshine Auto missions. First set of imports will get you a Deluxo, second will get you a Sabre Turbo, third the Sandking and last will get you the Hotring Racer
