Art-O-Mat: Meet the Creator! with Clark Whittington

In 2021, the Library became a host for one of four Art-O-Mats in Georgia. Located on the Grove Level of Price Gilbert, Georgia Tech's space and science-themed Art-O-Mat dispenses tiny custom art pieces just for you.
Clark Whittington, creator of the Art-O-Mat project, visited campus to talk about the history of the project, his inspirations and advice for budding artists. This free event was be held in Price Gilbert's first-floor Scholars Event Network Theater Monday, March 28.
Art-O-Mat machines are retired cigarette vending machines that have been converted to vend art. There are more than 100 active machines in various locations throughout the country.
