How to Import Data from Webpages into Google Sheets

- This video will show you how to import tables and lists from a webpage to Google Sheets. Using the IMPORTHTML function in Google Sheets allows this import to be done very quickly. You can customize the data you import from the web by limiting columns or adding filters to get exactly what you want in Google Sheets. This is done by adding the QUERY function along with the IMPORTHTML function in Google Sheets.

I was able to get a result I was happy with using this video, unsure why the query function does not react the same trying to limit with rows but I used data validation drop down to create a retroactive selectable for my sheet, not perfect but works

For example: a private site that shows me the weather temperature and this temperature is upgraded each minute? So I need to enter this site using my private password and to see this data live. Then I use my Google Sheets to do some convertions on these data.

How do I know that data on the website is protected? It can be selected, copy and pasted but there's some sort of filter on it that prevents web scraping. If I use "list" it imports lists mentioned but if I type coloumn, nothing.

Hello, Professor Teacher's Tech - thank you for this explanation, but the reason I came to find you is this: In the brand new Google AI interface (the one where you search by clicking on the lab beaker) today it asked me if I wanted to aff a new feature called "Add to Sheets". When I clicked on it I just got the URL. The AI interface didn't have any of your instructions in it. I watched your videos on UA-cam and wanted to consult you about a difficult issue.
We want to dump the websites and e-mail addresses of the brands we found on the internet into Excel. In other words, the company or brand name on the left line, the website and email taken from automatic google right next to it.
As we find new brands, we will add them to the excel file and as the code runs, it will continue to find their website and emails.
I would be very grateful if you could help with this, free or paid.
