Agreed. A striker is needed most for me. Gimenez also looks a good option. It's clear to me that we miss movement and a top notch goalkeeper in the central area. For instance we would have scored at least 3 last night with a quality striker.
We’ve got such a good run with injuries entering this window that my worry is that FSG will stick with our current group of players….Slot even hinted at it too……
Three issues: Newcastle are richer than us, they don't need to sell for financial reasons. Secondly Isak gets injuries every season so it's like getting another Jota. I would seriously consider Gyokeres before Amorim takes him at United then they are guaranteed top 4 for the next 10 years. Lastly and more importantly we can find in-house solutions such as integration of Danns more into the team. Spurs already had Harry Kane who took off when more rated and experienced strikers like Soldado came and flopped at Spurs.
That's not how football currently works. Your owners can be as rich as they want, if you don't have the global revenue and your expenditures are too much, then you will break FFP rules and see fines and points deductions.
"They don't need to sell for financial reasons" they literally need to sell for financial reasons. Why do you think they sold Minteh and why are Bruno G/Isak/Gordon constantly linked with a transfer away? It's for PSR compliance.
In our dreams, LMAO. Not only wouldn't FSG sanction such a raid, but Newcastle wouldn't sell to us unless it was an absolutely monstrous offer, which put's it even further into the "not a chance" category.
Now you think we need a striker? Is it possible just to accept that we have a magnificent squad? Yes there are always better players. At the moment the team has a fantastic spirit, which makes us win matches. And teleporting an outside player in a situation where Lucho, Gapko or Mo missed and then saying: he would have scored and therefore we would have won with 3-0 is unrealistic. I follow Slot since he is coach at AZ and I recognize the same phenomenon in his tactics. One of the aspects of his game is high pressure done by a.o. the strikers. As a result: many chances but with many defenders in the block where our strikers are not 100% sharp/positioned because of their defending tasks, so a low conversion rate. Then when the attack line of the opponent are getting out of steam (after60-70 min, not 45!!) Arne puts in fresh and extra attackers, replacing also a defender. He can take this risk because he has a ridiculous good defensive block. (I bet Virgil runs a marathon in 3 hours, Konate incredible too). The fresh/extra attackers are able to create chances, with more space/time/better position and therefore with a higher conversion rate. If you would put Isak in phase 1 he would struggle the same as our own hero’s. Put him in phase 2 he would score, like our own crazy hero Darwin yesterday or Diogo, etc in previous games..Would Isak be a game changer? Could be, but I doubt. It is for sure that it would lower the development opportunities of our talents like Jayden Danns..
I will sum this up for you as to what we learned: Alisson needs to be benched for the next 10 games as he has conceded too many goals and is a liability right now. Robertson also needs to be benched. Jones should never play as he is not good enough. Liverpool need to buy a midfielder. Liverpool need a clinical striker like Isak. Liverpool need a top CB like Murillo FSG have no ambition as they do not want to improve this sqaud.
Would be nice, but the priorities lie elsewhere atm. First is renewing the contracts of van Dijk and Salah, second is getting 2 new wing backs to replace Robertson and Trent. After that I doubt there is any budget left to buy a player as expensive as Isak from Newcastle. I'm not gonna say wishful thinking, but the chances of it happening are pretty low at the moment.
i like Isak but he's too expensive for Newcastle to let go. I would prefer Gyokeres instead. Currently the best striker in Europe right now. The price to me is kinda reasonable if you compare with Nunez back when he was in Benfica but he's far better than Nunez for sure and probably better than Haaland and Isak imo. He played in Premier League before but not for long time. I understand alot people having trust issues because of that player playing at Portugese League, Gyokeres might end up like Nunez all that. But if you guys do the stats and see how he play, Gyokeres is absolute monster. Im pretty sure he'll fit in with Slot system very well.
I agree that Isak is very good striker but what about a defender. (And also what do you think about our draw with Nottingham, may be i missed the video)
this is why, it is absolutely crucial that Newcastle do NOT qualify for the Champions League. if they qualify, why leave? but if they didn't, he would have every reason to leave
Isak has a goal every 117 minutes. Jota has a goal every 120 minutes. Would be a good addition if he can stay fit and be affective against low blocks. I'm not sure he possess those qualities. Someone like Danny inngs would have a field day against a low block in my opinion
A great striker , If FSG get to sell Nuñez , maybe , just maybe , they might be willing to spend some money in Isak, because the fact that the Arabs won’t be sallying him cheap is an understatement.
He's good but don't you think the injury record's a bit poor. I am sorry to disagree but if Darwin and doak leaves then the money should be invested in a defensive midfielder and a cb.
Liverpool need to buy Isak and Murillo. Just give Newcastle and Forest however much they want as you basically ensure winning the league for the next 5 years.
You are totally on target on Isak, which is precisely why FSG won't do it, unless they can get him for cheap, which will not happen. Newcastle aren't stupid.
FSG aren't going to do it because they have no ambition to win. They are happy to just sit on their thumbs and any money from sales will just be added into John's bank account. Liverpool fans need to be calling for new owners.
He is hardly prolific, playing as their man striker and focal point he has only scored 5 more than Diaz in the league. Diaz rarely plays full 90s and is mostly been played as a winger, also none of goals are penalties or free kicks. Definitely not worth what Newcastle will demand as a fee, well over 100m. He is good but definitely not worth way over 100m good.
We do things the right way we don't cheet like paying the ref to let the game go the other way against us don't understand why everyone doesn't like Liverpool is it because we do things above bourd that's what I think 🤔 I love Liverpool ❤️ come on guys we have World 🗺️ class players and club and fan's x ❤️ x ❤️ 😘 👨👩👦 😘 💑 😘 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌
If our season goes to waste because FSG failed to strengthen the team with at least a good left back fans should stop buying tickets and merch to force them to sell

We don't need isak we have Jota who's better plus they both injury prone so what good would that do?

Heard Liverpool turned isak down as a kid 🤷🏾♂️
With FSG as owners, we'll see Isak join Arsenal before you even see a proper bid for him.
In our dreams, LMAO. Not only wouldn't FSG sanction such a raid, but Newcastle wouldn't sell to us unless it was an absolutely monstrous offer, which put's it even further into the "not a chance" category.

Love this mate
Spot on.. But we probably can only dream. 😅

I agree isak is class. Great vid bro 👌
I love this channel man
Dude thank you!!!!!

Great view mate, but whats the point whe have chewap owners. they will show interest but never back that intention with expenditure

If we did this, we would win multiple titles in a row
Good video 👍 but don’t forget fsg are cheep 😡😡 also we really need a left back and a cdm more
A great striker , If FSG get to sell Nuñez , maybe , just maybe , they might be willing to spend some money in Isak, because the fact that the Arabs won’t be sallying him cheap is an understatement.
I totally agree with you mate

Quality strikers are few and far between. So we are highly unlikely to get one.
Look what happened when we last spent big on a Newcastle forward. He was worse than Nunez!!
We can only hope at this present moment 🙏
Isak loves Liverpool
Isak? It's a dream player. Where we've been before when he's sold for 70 mill?
Liverpool need to buy Isak and Murillo. Just give Newcastle and Forest however much they want as you basically ensure winning the league for the next 5 years.
Liverpool does not have the money they just pretend every transfer window
But those are players going to Arsenal. ISAK plus Zubimendi
You are totally on target on Isak, which is precisely why FSG won't do it, unless they can get him for cheap, which will not happen. Newcastle aren't stupid.
uhmm, the LFC owners we have cant dream about that
FSG aren't going to do it because they have no ambition to win. They are happy to just sit on their thumbs and any money from sales will just be added into John's bank account. Liverpool fans need to be calling for new owners.
If you think fsg going to spend your gona be very disappointed and if leauge gets bottled it be fsg fault squads thin fatigue is showing
His injury issues would put me off. But we're not going for him anyway.
he is not injury prone
@Bruh-C4 he is
More chance of a McDonald's employee buying a private jet than Liverpool buying a 100+ million pound Isak. Not happening. Simple as that.
Gyokeres man 😍
He is hardly prolific, playing as their man striker and focal point he has only scored 5 more than Diaz in the league.

maybe a swap deal , nunez for isak?
Not till Mr I do whatever fsg Hughes says
With our owners i dont thick so
lol we not buying Issac off o the Saudi’s - we getting the 19 year old kid in Germany
Still confident of a Reds title win ? Jota should start every game ( if fit ) . Diaz doesn't score enough .
jota can't start every game...He gets injured every time
Los delanteros estilo Nuñez, Isaak nunca van a funcionar en el equipo.
Necesitamos estilo Firmino.
we are not buying anyone
We do things the right way we don't cheet like paying the ref to let the game go the other way against us don't understand why everyone doesn't like Liverpool is it because we do things above bourd that's what I think 🤔 I love Liverpool ❤️ come on guys we have World 🗺️ class players and club and fan's x ❤️ x ❤️ 😘 👨👩👦 😘 💑 😘 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌 🧸 💌
to impossible brah 😢
I totally agree with you, Isak would take Liverpool to an even higher level. If Newcastle fail to finish in the top 5 Isak will be available
Is that Isak lol
Isak
FSG are shit they wont buy proper established striker
If our season goes to waste because FSG failed to strengthen the team with at least a good left back fans should stop buying tickets and merch to force them to sell
They must scam Saudi sell Nunez for 85 then ben doak for 30 and buy Isak
Talking rubbish
The toon want 150 mill for him while we have the clueless FSG as owners
Clueless? Wow, have you seen the state of Liverpool?
U think fsg will invest 100% of funds made never..ever never..
You’re right.
Isak
