Not sure if you guys got the message but this needs a major update. 7 of these picks aren't even on the plane. It's the first team rotation he's been known to do to keep players fresh.
@AllRedShow I don't think it was "early", it's what Slot does. A few weeks ago I said he'd pick a 2nd string team, he didn't and I was wrong then, but he did it now. I'm quite sure Slot and the coaching staff are trying to incorporate a "mid-season winter break" to give the players the recovery time to finish the season strong.
The advantage you have here is that Slot knows the Eredivisie and their teams like the back of his hand. He knows exactly what to expect from PSV, and so do the Dutch players, Gakpo, Gravenberch and to an extend van Dijk. They also know the quality of some of the players who they will play against as they are fellow internationals. Knowing how to win against PSV and this being a match they don't have to win, I'm expecting the players who need it getting rest.
@@AllRedShow And to make the argument even stronger, Slot won the Eredivisie last year with Feyenoord, beating PSV. Now he is up against PSV with Liverpool, with a FAR better selection than what he had available at Feyenoord. As long as the players don't take the game for granted and take it seriously, they got this easily, even if they don't go for a full 100%.
Something I was thinking about the other day is that this Bournemouth team that's doing so well was largely put together by Richard Hughes. He was the one who brought in most of the talent that's shining now! Decent track record at a club that doesn't have a huge pull.
we have tough away game bournmouth 3 days later....we have to rest all key players if we want to win trophies and even if we lose this game we are anyway top 2
VvD playing because Ibou need rest more than him. I don't think Gomez is ready yet. One of Grav, Dom, Macca will be rested. Endo and Elliot are ready. For Salah, i think it was himself who doesn't want to be rested. And he have good fitnes to play continuesly. But I still have some players I want to be started: Endo, Fede, Elliot, Kelleher... Hope we pass this match comfortly, no injury, and with good substitution for match fitness...

You'd play Gakpo for "one reason and one reason only, the guy is scoring goals at the moment." ??? Kinda underestimating everything else he does on the pitch. He adds so much control to our attack. He loses the ball nowhere near as much as Diaz, Salah and Nunez, which means less counter attacks. He's very very good outside of that "one reason only" being the goals. He's a guy that can easily get 35+ GA if he starts most games at LW. But yeah, he does have a LOT more to his game than the goals.
There iss a high risk of injuries !!!! Netherland player can be very mean . I seen a game where Ajax was loosing agains Munich and they received 6 red cards...cause of playing really unfair...😂😂
@AllRedShow I don't think we are going to get the win... PSV are doing really well and I think we rotated too much - but I guess it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Love the content
I thought Slot press conference suggested there was no difference between finishing 1st or 2nd. Expect big rotation, Harvey, Endo are definitely starter in the midfield. Szoboszlai and Gravenberch will be rest, may not even travel. Salah will be rest too. Chiesa, Diaz and Dan/Nunez lead the front line. Bradley , Quansah, Tsimikas + someone not Konate ln the back 4. I don't mind Kelleher play. Gomez is back in training which is a great news though too soon to get involve.
i really hope your predicted lineup will be wrong. There is no need to win it. I hope they just play all the subs from last game as starting line up plus 4 other players. Make 5 subs for playing last 20 mins or so. We need to win Bournemouth this weekend. It will be very hard, they scored 9 goals in the past 2 games against very good side. just dont forget that.
I'm also convinced that it will be Gakpo starting in his hometown. But it will be also a friendly rivalry between the two best Dutch coaches. They respect each other but Arne will really really want to win this one.
Why would Slot really, really want to win this one? Win this one or not much isn't going to change. So why is it so important to win this game?I see Slot as a professional and he would approach this game in the same professional manner as he does every game and not as some are suggesting here as part of of personal aggrandisement. Bournemouth has to be the priority here. Personally don't care really, long as we beat Bournemouth.
It's a Dutch thing lol - this match is more important here in NL than in the UK. But I saw the interview just now and he seems to care much more for the next matches indeed. Just when you watch the match, think of these two coaches really respecting each other but also really really wanting to beat the other.
MY lineup would be XI GK: Kelleher RB: Bradley CB: Endo CB: Quansah LB: Tsimikas CDM: Tyler Morton CDM: Trey Nyoni CAM: Harvey Elliot RW: Chiesa ST: Darwin Nunez/Jayden Danns LW: Rio Ngumoha
Coming 1st or 2nd makes NO difference to the potential opponents in knockout stage. In knockout stage teams finishing 1st/2nd go are draw to see who plays winners of 15th vs 16th and who plays winners of 17th vs 18th. So whether we finish 1st or 2nd makes no difference as to the ranking of the teams we could face in round of 16. We will play one of the teams finishing between 15th and 18th place. The draw also determines which half of "bracket" you go into. Again similar draw happens to teams finishing 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th.
@@AllRedShow He clearly does looking at the squad that have left for game. Easier to list regular starter going than left at home. If Chiesa doesn't start Slot really has a problem with him?
With how far we've seen Slot show us what's in his mind, that guy doesn't like to draw or loose any game. He was so pissed at that Caraboa 1-0 loss to Spurs and he continually talk about the loss to Nottingham at home and the draw to United at home. I personally don't think Slot would want to loose this game or any game for that matter and not the CL, I think the CL and the PL are the two major tittles in his mind to win this season. My prediction will be a 2-0 win against PSV and hopefully Chiesa get at least 30 mins in this game. YNWA.
Liverpool needs to start creating chances and scoring IN THE FIRST HALF, for a change. No more vDijk delaying too much. Play like Barcelona and Trent: direct in-depth passings create a lot chances and so produces more goals. If they're up 2 at the break, Slot can relax and give SUBS chances. PSV is a poor consistent goal scorer and so a poor CL performance for the unbeaten Dutch champ, so no BIG expectations here. Toooo many draws kills you.
Great chat boys, but you really should know that a draw will do tonight to put us top if you're doing a LFC podcast. It's simple maths and shows that you're not really doing your homework before going to air
Am sure they want to win this game and it will be not a friendly match. Every point in the CL is much money for the Club. They are in a good wave and will win.❤ YNWA
Idiots....theres no need to even win this game No use ...and we have a important tough away game 3 days later and this idiot arne slot due to his ego against PSV will start all key players....if we lose premier league due to injuries its because of arne slot...even after 3 goal lead at anfield against ipswich town he isnt subbing key midfielders and bringing chiesa for 5 mins whats the use
@@AllRedShow Mate i didnt mean you....i meant the selectors at liverpool...and arne slot isnt trusting his subs squad like elliot, chiesa , and endo...were not rotating when have the luxury at times
PSV have been playing weakly the last 3 to 4 games they played! Put them under pressure and they will collaps! 😂 0-3 would be nice! Common Liverpool!! 💪
The traveling team / squad show Slot's focus for Bournemouth and maybe even the Carabao Semi-Finals 2nd leg...
Yea I’m impressed to be honest

Empty the bench and save the legs. I don't think it matters if we finish one or two for the knockout stage. PL more important.
True.
@@AllRedShow Arne has nothing to prove to the Dutch. Right now everyone knows he's the best manager in football.
Press conference today mentioned that a lot of the senior players did not even travelled
Yes 🤦🏼♂️
Almost none of these players should and will play tonight.
Allison did not travel
Yea we missed big on this one! 😂
Almost all the players you chose are not even travelling out of the country 😅😅😅
I made this video too soon 🤣
Arne is smart. Charging "the batteries" before Bournmouth
Everyone predicts few get it spot on
we have tough away game bournmouth 3 days later....we have to rest all key players if we want to win trophies and even if we lose this game we are anyway top 2
That’s exactly what is happening. Only Gapko and Darwin of the first choice are playing
man why you want to up our stronger line up?? Crazy,we dont need VVD, Grav,Dom, Macca, Salah for this match. we need them in PL.

@@AllRedShow true but in my opinion we need Gapko in the middle.
If Slot goes strong, 4-1. If he rotates, 3-2. Reds aren’t losing this one.
Love it.
Endo, Elliott and Szobo would be my midfield
Grav spent two years on the bench at a key age, and that just sets him up to play every game for many years
I'd be very happy to see Elliott, Chiesa, Danns and Nunez in the starting lineup.
Danns is such a really promising talent!
❤
You’re going to be right.
I don't see why you would play Trent in this game or robbo or Alison WE HAVE VERY GOOD BACK UP IN THEM PLACES
Great video! But that unfortunately didn't age well past the next hours, when news of who Slot left behind got published. 😅
