mahhh man i give up on the Final fantasy after 13 got out and they stoped the JRPG and when i am talking about give up i am talking about the trash like 13/ 13.2/ 15 i love only ff old style JRPG or Action JRPG so for now i only focuse on FF14
@@srdragan317 FFXIV is the furthest from old style JRPG's it could be. If you want to miss out on possibly good games because of your bias, that's fine, but at least admit that the current game you like isn't the same as the ones you want.

BTW the combat director is the same one of dragons dogma and devil may cry 5, so yeah, that's one of the main reason I'm hype, second music XD

We don't know yet if their are jobs, but there are definitely summons and crystals, and BLOOD.

Reminds me of Tactics without the chibi art, but thats a tone I've always wanted to return to FF.

I was also thinking about how Bahamut would look during this... going to be absolutely sick. And that music, no doubt Soken is on board. This is the first single player FF game I've been hyped for in a long, long time.

@@jorgemurilo7779 FFXII was very good, but I wasn't really hyped for it when I first saw it over 14 years ago. Kinda the same with VIIR - It is very, very pretty to look at, but I still prefer the original game and playstyle over it. I remember seeing those trailers for the original VII in 1997, man the hype was absolutely ridiculous. Yes, I'm old.
This is kinda like the roots of FF bought into a new generation of consoles and gamers, at least that’s what it looks like. Medieval looking like the older FF games (im talking about the first games), people are saying we might have a Job/class system in this one as well, let’s hope this all goes down well cause a lot of people have been saying this and that about the game and asking for stuff from the creators when they are already trying to give us a good game and all that just from looking at the trailer, some people can be stupid.

But not as awesome as Cid or Kaine

I really hope Yoshida isn’t going to kill himself with being producer of FF16 as well as director and producer of FF14. I worry about his health as well as the quality of FF14 :/

I mean they say the 2 games are gonna be kinda similar so he might have an easier time managing them but who knows, let’s hope nothing bad happens.
I wouldn't worry to much about quality considering this game has been in development since right after Heavensward. He has been producing this game in the background the entire time during shadowbringers development and release and that has been the best FF14 expansion so far. But your right the man works to damn hard.

A reminder, this game has been in development for around six years, and the CBU3 website says it's in its final stages of production, meaning we're looking at a release inside I'd say... 9-12 months, at a guess. They've kept this deep under wraps, and it shows just how far along they are in making it!
Can I get a source on that website where theyve been making this for 6 years? I looked and couldnt find anything like that website.

Final Fantasy V was the last single-player medieval one I think. VI was more Industrial Revolution, VII and VIII were more modern, IX was Renaissance, X was more Asian themed, XII was more Biblical I think, XIII was future and XV was modern.

Not only is YoshiP directing, but that trailer music was unmistakably Soken's. It's been a long, long time since I've been properly hyped for a new FF game, but fuuuuuuuuck I cannot contain my excitement for this one.

I hope Bahamut is in FFXVI, that'd be interesting. Also, I think our WoL would have some words with these people saying "The Legacy of Crystals has gone on long enough." And yeah, I lost it when I heard Yoshi was going ot be leading FFXVI too, I was so happy. I know he said he wanted to bring FF back to medieval, instead of all the "modern" stuff recent FF's have had.
I have a feeling this will have something like Fable path. You see two Joshua at the end looking different. I don't believe it is between time but it's between two events. And also, you can clearly see there are 3 factions here. And the lady from 1:45 is ascian like person who is pulling all the strings.

I don’t know if you saw/noticed, but when he was attacking, his « weapon? » were taking eikons form. One of them was looking like Garuda talon.... so maybe we will have Garuda to ^_^
I saw Phoenix’s wing, Garuda’s talons, and it looked like Titan’s fists.

Bahamut will definitely be in the game. Just like they sneaked him in FF7 remake as a hidden boss at the very least. He's too iconic to not put him in. I do wonder how many eikons will be in the game however. Alexander/Hades/Shinryu ?

When he talks about the mother crystal does he mean hydaelyn? I know FF14 crew worked on this game so are they attempting to link it to 14?
Honestly 14 wasn't the first time I heard Mothercrystal in a FF title, but I can't recall which had it first. Mystic Quest maybe?

I'm not big into FF. Any FF fans correct me if I'm wrong. This trailer look the most graphic as in blood and sprays and all that. Like were other FF this graphic. I watched a friend's play through of FF7 remake. It wasnt even close to as graphic as this looked!

This presentation with all the others in that playstation showcase all i could think was sony just threw the gauntlet down to other consoles and went what now.
I’m not so sure about this one... I love final fantasy, but I saw 0 group. I play* final fantasy for the group dynamics and the bonding of the multiple main characters over length of the game and growing to care about them all for there own differences. this looks like a single character with supporting characters that don’t help you. Till I see some other charachters doing work *with* the main character.* I’m just not sold on it. FFXIV Online had a supporting cast, but they actually fought with you, just not convinced yet. It looks like they are focusing on the Summons more in this one, that’s cool af and they are going the rout of Type Zero with invoking from a prime host instead of everyone can summon. Looks like the main character is phoenixes prime you can see a wing come out in some of the combos, which is cool it means the fight between Ifrit and Phoenix will probably be playable. Also seems the kid in red is the prime for Ifrit, so I still have hope that there will be a group and they were just showing off the combat.
Just a first teaser trailer. Yoshida will reveal more soon next year keep an eye on it. His team has always been good about misdirection in the trailers especially 5.3 patch trailer xiv.
They actually rushed this trailer quite a bit, so I think the party will be Clive (MC), Joshua (brother), and Jill (Girl).

I just don't like the fact that summons has to go against summons in this.
i gotta admit i dont like the new action rpg direction the FF series is going in. i didnt like FF15 at all and this seems like its going to be the same. as far as i am concerned the ff series ended with 12. the newer games have strayed too far from the formula to be fun for me. just my opinion tho. i lke the old school final fantasy games a lot more. 7, 8, 9, 10, even 10-2, those where final fantasy games.
There is no formula buddy. FF is a constantly evolving game series.
@@JaxParowFF almost all the games up to 12 followed a certain formula for combat. atb or turn based, menu driven battles. i much preferred that over the new flashy devil may cry meets grand theft auto version of the series. just my preference tho.
Just because they were restrained by technical limitations of the past doesn't mean that's all.it should be. Turn based had its moment and no longer fits the new age. The future is now.
@@JaxParowFF everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i personally think that the old formula for FF games is kind of timeless if handled correctly. the new trend of updating older games gives me some hope that the old formula will be revisited eventually.
Yeah that's what the bravely default series is for.
