Your videos are great. Well-edited, to the point, no superfluous commentary, pleasant tone. And those under-sink drawers… so dreamy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
WOW, nothing so useful as a handy man/woman in the house!!! Wish I had such a handy man around!! GREAT JOB!!!! Love to you and the family from old rebel-Pinkie
Glad it was helpful! Just make sure the inside sides of your cabinet are at least 1/2" thick. 1/4" sides might not hold the weight of a pull out drawer
Love what you've done! You need to sell your handyman services. There are so many people that would love things like this done that either don't know how or haven't got the woodworking equipment to do things like this. I'd hire you in a second.
These are all great ideas, I had our measuring cups and spoons hanging off hooks on the doors but my wife got irritated with the noise when opening and closing,, so she took them off. But your solution is great, I'm gonna steal it! 👍
By far my favorite is the measuring cup and under sink ideas! Plus I never knew there was a portable laser engraving tool??? I’m going to check to see if you have a review on that in a bit
Boy, this was a kick in the pattudy for me! I bought all of the components for a simple steel pot rack to put on the wall next to my stove and STILL have not done anything with it. And I have been wanting to get under the sink organized for sometime now, so I don't keep buying AJax cleaner. I now have 3 cans of it because somehow they keep getting pushed to the back under bags of sponges. ;>) I just ordered the lumber at my local small lumber store so it will be ready when I go to pay for it. I'll be busy the next day or two, thanks! lol.
I like your ideas, especially with the steak knife organizer. Nothing worse than getting stabbed by one left loose in a drawer. I made a pullout drawer under the sink, which made a huge difference. I also made some towel racks for the doors which works well.
Hint: If you don’t have a laser, you can reverse print things with a laser printer, then place them on a piece of wood, with the printed face against the wood, and then transfer much of the printing with a hot iron. There are videos here on UA-cam with details on how to do it.
Firstly let's get this over with. You are skilled and the ideas are fantastic. When you are not skilled and don't have the money for a laser thing let's just say the results mess and levels of swearing and screaming are very different. Note how I don't have a channel showing my woodworking skills.
I know the laser may not be in the budget for everyone, but you could also just write things down on the wood or print them out and glue it on... hopefully, though, some of the ideas can help you to think of new ways to organize your kitchen
Nice! Practical, not $30k worth of epoxy, and they look great. We have the hanging thing for our measuring cups and it drives me bananas, so totally going to steal that one. How do you like the fiber laser? I have a 10W LED, and the area is good, but I can only engrave soft materials with that one (ie, no glass/stone/ceramic).
For what it's designed to do, it's great. The laser is plenty powerful and fast. The limitation is on the engraving area, but you kind of know that when you get it! if you engrave reflective materials, though you have to put something on it that doesn't reflect (tape, matte paint, etc.
Y'know, you could probably just put spacers around the store bought organizers to prevent them sliding around for a lot cheaper and less time and tool investment...
The title is actually "DIY ideas to simplify your space." It doesn't say they're simple to build. You could do most of this with a skill saw and creative clamping, or a cheap Harbor Freight table saw.
Это всё, конечно, замечательно, но подобные поделки из дерева - прошлый век. Интересно, насколько дешевле и быстрее будет сделать то же самое на 3d-принтере?
Man, that thoughtful act of having nothing on the bottom below the sink for the plumbers is much appreciated by them for sure.
Haha! Yep I've done enough of my own plumbing to know that it would suck to have a divider right there!
Absolutely love the conversation chart, I would buy one or 2.❤❤
Dude…who has all those gorgeous tools in their work shop? I’m so jealous!
Just gotta start one at a time... and try to sell some stuff you make too!
Love the under the sink idea 🙌
Thanks!

Thanks! I'm glad you appreciate it
Don’t know where you live but my husband and I would love to have you visit and work on our kitchen! You’re a genius.
WOW, nothing so useful as a handy man/woman in the house!!! Wish I had such a handy man around!! GREAT JOB!!!!

You're welcome!
I have been looking at putting a drawer under our kitchen sink and now I have a good idea of how to do it.
Thanks. Keep up the interesting videos.

Fantastic ideas and nice work! One thing for sure, I am definitely not letting my wife watch this video! 😉😉👍👍
Haha! That's true... just use it for your own research when you need to make a Christmas present!
Bread box is handy. Love seeing updates from you. Always a treat.
Thank you sir! Yes the bread box is nice, or in our case, the bread drawer!
Jared, great organization ideas. Such thought out ideas, especially the bread board!
Thank you!

Love them all I now have more on my honey due list.

Bread board is awesome

I built some V shaped holders that mount to the base cabinet doors to hold the pot lids. - Chris
That's a great idea!
Solid video Sir. Lots of good ideas to implement. I would imagine you could come up with all types of improvements if you tried. Good stuff.
Thanks, I'm always trying!
These are all great ideas, I had our measuring cups and spoons hanging off hooks on the doors but my wife got irritated with the noise when opening and closing,, so she took them off. But your solution is great, I'm gonna steal it! 👍
Great! I looked at the hanging designs too and figured they would get noisy. I think this option works much better!
thanks liked drawer organizer
This is some amazing ideas
Thank you!

It's a new product that is starting to get more attention... and some competition too!

Nice! I may have to try a towel rack now.
Those drawers look exceptionally wide.
They are on 30" and 27" base cabinets

My favorite kitchen organizer is my wife haha! Now if she finds me I'm dead : (
What is the cleanup tool used at 6:57?
It's my favorite block plane: amzn.to/3yFJZcq

@@EveningWoodworker That makes sense, the light is still visible, and ya know, physics.
Y'know, you could probably just put spacers around the store bought organizers to prevent them sliding around for a lot cheaper and less time and tool investment...
But this is way more fun!
Title should be Simple DIY kitchen projects (for those who have already invested in thousands of dollars worth of woodworking equipment)
If you are watching a woodworking channel, that is already implied.
@@mikep3813 google recommended this to me with the words simple and DIY... lol

Makerspace mate
Always someone coming in to complain
I love the video, but I want your shirt... Where'd you get it? (
engineer by day woodworker by night)
Thanks! It's actually one I designed and have up on my website: www.eveningwoodworker.com/merch
I don't think I have that big of a drawer. 🙂
This was the first time I'd had one this big... but you can customize your silverware organizer to whatever size your drawer is
@@EveningWoodworker Looks like I might have to modify my first attempt. Consider it a WIP.
Where is the guard for your bench saw. Dangerous dude.
HOW CAN YOU SEE WHAT’S ON THE CONVERSION BOARD WHEN IT’S SO HIGH UP. 🙄
I was concerned about that, but at 5'4" my wife had no problem seeing it. Just gotta make it big enough!
Your idea is really cool! Thank you for your amazing video!
Это всё, конечно, замечательно, но подобные поделки из дерева - прошлый век. Интересно, насколько дешевле и быстрее будет сделать то же самое на 3d-принтере?
You could 3D print, but for the cost, wood is cheaper and looks nicer in my opinion
That's not diy lol.
