Bolens 1050 Tube Frame Part 1. Attempted Cold Start and Hitch Fabrication.

Bolens 1050 tractor is going to be a back-saving tote goat with its newly installed ball hitch.
It's been sitting 5 years, what will it take to start it up again?

Hi Niles. These have a good reputation but I've never worked on one nor have I ever worked on a Wisconsin. I guess they weren't murder wasps are we wouldn't have a video. DR evil needs to come up with some ill tempered bee's with fricken lazers attached to their heads to take out the murder wasps LOL. WOW nothing pisses me off more than some idiot slathering RTV all over a carb. Well ok some things probably piss me off more but I can't think of any right now. Anyway good plan for the ole bolens. Hopefully it'll save your back some. Take care

That carb was just spectacular, looked like it had banana slugs in it. I *LOVE* PO work! (Okay, not really)
Yes, this has been a long time coming and I have a lot of wood to split and just can't convince myself to lug the splitter around. Last time I moved it I used ingenuity; I put my little garden trailer behind the small John Deere and then put the tongue peg of the wood splitter over the tailgate of the trailer. I was hauling doubles!

That is not a 1050. It’s either a 1053 or 1054. Awesome machine!
