I must say the people who build from trades that like machinists/ mechanics/engineers/etc are always my favourite because there is something they think about that I haven’t.
I thought vandwelling was something only younger people did because of all the climbing and stuff. Great to see that Rob and Karen are keeping up 💪 Very nice!!
There are a lot of van life retirees out there, and many of them have channels here on UA-cam. Thanks to elevator bed platforms, we can even have a real living room by day, and a bedroom by night, and both without climbing.
Rob and Karen traveled with me recently in Arizona in their big rig, what a great couple and cool expedition vehicle! Congratulations on the awesome video.
Oooh what a fun couple and what a fantastic truck build...as an older person myself I love your stairs they're safe and look easy as well...I also love your bed and those pull out pillow's for relaxing...thankyou Jenna and safe travels from me in Melbourne Australia 💜🇦🇺
I really like the bed arrangement, with the backrests for sitting up. This is really well planned, and its a change to see somewhere that isn't "dressed up". Life looks a lot of fun for this couple.
14 gallon tank, spin down filter, 5 micron water filter, charcoal filter, uv filter, 5gpm water pump, on demand water heater, drains into marine sump pump box and returns to tank.
Wow, I'm so impressed with the efficiency of their THOW! Multipurpose, every inch is used to the max (bins for storage is brilliant), and they are happy 😊. That's what matters most. Thanks for the tour. Enjoy your escape!
Love that you have a hand rail on your steps - when ever I see stair without.a handrail or edge barrier it looks like an accident waiting to happen - so many good ideas on your build - happy travels !
I always wondered why people didn’t use bins ! Everyone is building drawers and I’m thinking bins would be better - glad to finally see it in a rig ! Maybe it’s just Albertans thinking alike !
What a great couple. I really appreciate the thought they put into building their rig. I really like the drop down bed, that would totally work for me. The hooks in the shower are a great idea.
The body on the back of their truck would have been built by Intercontinental Truck Body (ITB) (Coaldale, AB) - that's an all aluminum body made of extruded aluminum panels. Heavy Duty Construction and a great starting point for a build like this! What a great project
110 sq ft and they have a bathroom, complete with shower and separate toilet, kitchen, with reasonable counterspace, and an office and bedroom. I don't think I've ever seen such a tiny place so well laid out
GREAT BUILD. Why cant these companies build a camper as good as this. these for hire companies are mostly about flash. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
Wow, unique and creative build! Love the video! At 5 to 7 miles per gallon you must have a huge bank! To go very far on diesel fuel must cost you a fortune!
I must say the people who build from trades that like machinists/ mechanics/engineers/etc are always my favourite because there is something they think about that I haven’t.
No doubt and the great build quality as well.

R.R.E.V. Is the the most badass mentality I’ve seen on any build yet! ❤️😎🤘
Back rests are incredible…my fav of the build…although hard to pick a fav…EXCELLENT!!!!
I always wondered why people didn’t use bins ! Everyone is building drawers and I’m thinking bins would be better - glad to finally see it in a rig ! Maybe it’s just Albertans thinking alike !

Excellently done! So we'll thought out. Kudos to you.
