It's a bummer McGrath and Ward had those troubles and there wasn't much tight racing up front but Kevin Schwantz did make it look fun. He and the Australian guy Avard had some awesome slides on the pavement.
When you look up RACER in the dictionary you see JEFF WARD the toughest racer ever total stud so proud of you jeff and everything you do. A TRUE CHAMPION FOR LIFE.❤😊🎉
That was awesome! Is there any possible way Schwantz was on a DRZ400?! If so, it's the fastest DRZ in history. It was cool to see that he's so good in the dirt. And absolutely incredible if he just did that on a 400. Great lineup of racers, cool to see a Danny Walker track, he was telling me about designing tracks when I was talking to him at American Supercamp. Guy loves supermoto. Good times, thanks boys! See you at the track.
They all did for several dominant years of MaGrath SX. Those were another era of the party years until RC came along and made everybody work. Psssst---The Mac was buying the beer, and drinking green tea. :)

When I was just a kid my neighbor organized mini bike racing at Saddleback Park in Ca where Ward got his start. The years sure do fly right Jeff!
