I tried calculating the regression line however i got y = 117.8 + 4.84x. i know that b = Sxy/Sxx and a = mean of y +bmeanx. i used these values: Sigmax = 96, Sigmay = 704, Sigmaxy = 8354 sigma x^2 = 1252. What am I doing wrong?? How did you get that equation?
when you say 19 is close to the highest value of x that makes it reasonably reliable. what if you say its extrapolated therefore its unreliable? would you still be right?
Hey man I really appreciate these videos, I just started my Math A-Levels Edexcel. Also I am doing (biology, chemistry and physics). Might I ask what do you think is a good GCSE grades to get. I got the following Biology a chemistry a physics a maths b English language/ literature/ igce b/b/b history b geography a business economics b BTEC business and PE distinction start and merit
Sir, can I ask a question? My book tells me that the reliability o predictions are relevant to ( The number of data value is large) What does that mean? :)
Thank god, last video! just spent 4 hours going through this whole playlist!
ME TOO
Omg same here, I have S1 exam tomorrow morning loooool
I have s1 in like 5 hours
At some point during this academic year, yes.
Thank you very much. Fantastic : simple, logic and clear
But the line y=29.0+3.9x, we are supposed to calculate it using the table right??
SilosMOVIE yes
thank you for this it has helped so much
hey man! your video are awesome, they've really helped me! Are you going to do FP3 for Edexcel? Take care

Because your values are wrong, sigmax = 106, sigmay=704, sigmaxy= 8354, sigmax^2 = 1352. Try it with these values, you should get the correct answer.

+KING No.
It's almost 11pm. Enough said.
Devil's Den 5am now :) #lastminutereviserstrugless been watching these videos whole night😂😂
I'm Amazing good luck
Chris Birch just got up no time to waste slept at 12
Great video... But is the line y=29.0+3.9x given in the question?
In the previous part.
Thank you

You're welcome. Best wishes for tomorrow if you have a stats exam.
