Thank you for sharing your knowleadge Simon!! I love doing this kind of artistic and philosophical reflections too. I personally think all this is all related with our ego, because as artists we have a tendency to inflate it and our inflated ego make us perfectionists beeing really scared of failing and think a lot about what the other artists or people will think about us.. my mind still plays a lot this kind of trick on me, and the solution it's not something external.. the freedom it's in giving a fuck to every ego pressure and thinkings, don't worry about not beeing original or doing something unique our beeing among the bests.. it's just about letting your soul talks during the process, beeing who your are, beeing like kids when they are drawing and having fun and giving a fuck to everything that it's not that process simple as that.
Thank you, Simon. This has helped me release a recent art blockage. I also loved your recent interview with Emanuel and Jan on ADP. Please continue to spread your wisdom and experiences with us.

I used to measure my self a lot to others, it took me a while to stop that, I was always negative to my self and progress, stuck in a cycle and I picked up 3D and as I started to make some improvement in knowledge it self regarding that, I started seeing, comparing my self to my self, it was such an important moment in my life!

Hello Simon! I have read the description of your live on stanwinston school, and there is something i would really know^^ After graduating Buisness School, you started building website for 10 years and then 2007 you switched to scultping. in 2010 you have closed the web programming buisness and became full time sculptor. So the thing is.. 2007 you started sculpting, But i would really like to know, if you have sculpted before too? So before 2007 you sculpted intense too?
Yeah it's weird how people try to be unique without even mastering the basics Like dude how are you gonna make something from your imagination when you can't even work with reference
